Euphoria.

Inside a fairly good looking living room with nice and expensive furnitures. A woman in her early 40s graced her tushie on the blue sofa, she had her phone held close to her ears, indicating that she was on a call with somebody.

Her neck, wrist, ears and fingers were graced with jewelries of all kinds. Her red silk gown showed how sophisticated she was. Spending almost half of her life, struggling to be at the top in a society where men always ruled and wanted to remain in the position of dominance made her the very wise and sharp-witted woman she was.

She had a triumphant smile on her face as she replied the call with her thick and smooth voice. The call ended and she dropped the phone beside her on the couch.

"Finally, you'll get just what you have always wanted Euphoria."

Her red lips moved as each words rolled out of her mouth as victory danced around her expensively make-up face.

Mrs Bolton was still rejoicing over her victory when her daughter walked into the living room through the front door, the loud sound of her booth hitting the tiled floor reverberated around the house. Euphoria had a beautiful smile on her face as she immediately slumped into her mother's warm embrace.

Tesla smiled contentedly as she opened her arms and welcomed her daughter's hug. There was nothing she ever cared about except her beautiful daughter, nothing made her strong except the will to fight and protect her daughter.

"Guess things went out well"

Tesla said with a smile on her face as she stared down at Euphoria.

Euphoria giggled, she pulled away from her mother's embrace, she raised her manicured nails and tugged her short hair behind her ears, her bangs covered her forehead and made her round face even more cute. The blush on her cheeks made Tesla raise her eyebrows in question as she gave her a teasing smile.

"What's with you now?"

Tesla asked as she sat upright to get a clearer view of Euphoria's face. Tesla knew that her daughter only attended a meeting, so why was she looking like she won a lottery?

"Mom! I can't stop being excited! Who knew I would get the chance to see him in person, gosh!"

Euphoria squealed in enthusiasm as she squeezed her eyes shut, she was too excited, after all, she would be able to work with the company she dreamt of day and night with the help of her mother and she even got to see the infamous masked CEO. For her, that was a dream come true, but it wasn't complete yet.

Tesla frowned in question, she was confused about what Euphoria was talking about.

"You got the chance to see who?"

"He was sinfully handsome, even with that mask on. Mom! I need your help, again."

Euphoria stood up from the sofa and stared down at her Tesla with pleading eyes. Just by the way she dressed, it was obvious that she was a spoilt girl who always got what she wanted.

Tesla gave her daughter a blank stare, she wasn't satisfied with how Euphoria was behaving. Tesla had bribed the judge to make sure Euphoria gets to be selected among the newbies who passed the audition, it wasn't an easy fit and one of the initial newbie who was supposed to be among the accepted ones got rejected in Euphoria's stead and that person happens to be Jesy Anthony.

"Euphoria, I don't think I can be able to keep helping you. If you want something, go get it yourself. I don't know who it is you are talking about, but if he is someone you so much want, then get him yourself."

Tesla said as she eyed Euphoria, she knew she had spoilt her daughter rotten with her wealth, but what could she do? Tesla never wanted her daughter to go through what she went through.

Euphoria pouted her lips, she frowned as she wondered why her mother was suddenly like this. She was too used to her mother giving her whatever she wanted, seeing her mother like this was foreign to her.

"Whatever, I passed the audition and I'll be working with them very soon, am so happy! I can't wait."

Euphoria smiled dreamingly, but the smile faded away when she remembered what happened after the meeting with the masked CEO was over.

She remembered how a lady tried to block the masked CEO from moving out of the room, she also recalled how the lady also talked back at the CEO's assistant, Euphoria could already feel her disgust towards the lady who was trying to seek attention from the CEO, how cheap.

Euphoria was able to get the name of the lady because the woman who sat beside her in the meeting room knew who the lady was and the woman was able to get a clearer view of the lady from where she sat, Euphoria learnt that the lady's name was Jesy Anthony.

Euphoria felt angered by the thought of everything, she clenched her fist as she remembered everything that happened. She knew she already got her eyes on that masked CEO and nobody would come in between that.

She turned to her mother and smiled gratefully, she excused herself and left for her room. She had a lot to think about and she would also need to shop for new clothes to change her wardrobe and get a new cosmetics too, and she also needed to find out who this Jesy Anthony was.
