A shocking discovery

Lucas basically sneaked his way out as the officers clamour to talk to the child's father. Rinei on the other hand was busy taking care of its kid. That neither of them noticed him simply getting out of the door to meet Erin.

The latter was surprised as it was busy looking inside its bag. Probably worried that it might have lost something else. When it lifted its head again, he was already in front of him.

  "You scared me, I thought I'm about to get robbed." Erin genuinely said. "Did the parents arrive," It tried to peek behind him? For he was too tall to block its sight of what's inside.

"Yeah, I think it's best if we leave them alone now. They're still in shock of what happened."

"I see," he guided Erin towards the other direction so as to prevent him from peaking inside. And it probably did as well. But it didn't seem as if it recognized the people that were actually there.
