Batman!

I was running at full pelt trying to forget the horrors that just happened to me in that shop. Never again, even though their prices are really cheap, so I might have to reconsider. Suddenly I recalled the screaming and shuddered ''Never again'' I whispered under my breath.

Before I knew what was happening to me I was tossed to the side. I had been shoved into an alleyway by an unknown figure whilst running. I couldn't make up their face but I knew it was a man. I couldn't make up much else besides that the ground was wet and smelt like piss. We were clearly intervening in some random hobo's place of residence. I tried to stand up but quickly the man put his foot on my back and forced me to stay down. ''Ow, get off weirdo'' I exclaimed.

I couldn't get up. I still was struggling to control my strenghth. At the most inconvenient moments I could break the pavement or break mugs but when it most mattered I merely had the strength of an 8 year old.

The man laughed; he apparently thought this was enjoyable, which I definitely didn't agree with. I struggled with breathing since I couldn't inhale properly whilst being forced down. The man lowered his head and whispered to me ''Your money or your body!'' My body?! What was he going to do with my body?!

I didn't know the man's name but since he's clearly attracted to kids I'll call him Hisoka. The man repeated himself ''Your money or your body brat! What will it be?'' I huffed and puffed trying to get up but Hisoka just put down even more force. I finally responded to his query ''What kind of messed up trick or treat is this?!''

Hisoka bellowed in laughter this time. ''You certainly are entertaining brat. It's a shame you'll have to die now'' What he's going to kill me? Some random kid he bumped into the street? I don't even get the motivation behind that. Okay stealing my money, fair enough, stealing a kidney? A stretch but I'd survive.

''Why would you even kill me? What's in it for you? I asked curiously, I know it's a dumb question but I have to know which son of a bitch I have to kill after I kill Hisoka here. ''None of your business kid, now have fun being reborn into a flower or something'' You know what I would almost let him kill me that's pretty sweet of him but alas, I still have much to do.

As soon as Hisoka began to articulate the killing curse I turned into a bat. Suddenly Hisoka had no balance since he was standing on air where I used to be. Hisoka let out a small screech in surprise and fell directly on his face.

I changed back into a human and now the roles had been reversed. I was the one applying pressure on his back. ''Well, well, well how the turntables'' Hisoka looked up at me in confusion and anger.

''I'll have your head for this brat! Especially now I know you're a vampire!'' Hisoka ejeculated. I just looked at him with a blank stare. ''No you aren't getting any head and you're most definitely not having mine.'' I chuckled at my own remark and applied some more pressure on Hisoka's chest.

Suddenly I heard a woman's voice behind me ''Hey dear how did it go with the kid…'' The woman looked at me in shock. But anger quickly filled her eyes, not directed at me, but at her I presume boyfriend. ''How are you so incompetent that you lose to a kid!''

Hisoka began explaining ''Well actually-'' But he was quickly interrupted by his female counterpart ''It was a rhetorical question you dumbass'' The woman sighed deeply. I kind of felt ignored in this lovers quarrel so I spoke up. ''Hey so it seems you guys got some issues but how about you settle this with a therapist and a million miles away from me''

The woman finally seemed to take notice of me and countered ''You're real sassy for being a kid but I'll shut you right up don't you worry'' The woman lifted her wand arm and proceeded to speak.

But I wouldn't let her finish and used my abnormal speed to close the gap. The thing is with wizards is that they don't know how to fight without a wand. So as soon as you disarm them it's a done deal. Unless they can do spells wandlessly of course but the two that were blessed with my company didn't seem to be the brightest of the bunch.

I hit her hand holding her wand hard enough to hear a crack and the woman yelled out in pain. ''You would hit a lady?!'' I just sighed and shook my head. ''Equal rights equal fights, bitch'' And went for the knock-out. I hit her hard on the jaw and heard a loud crack. My fingers also seemed to be broken or at least bruised but I'll worry about that later.

There were people peering into the alleyway looking at the action. They didn't seem interested to contact the authorities. It felt just like that one time at school where he got in a fight with a bully and the whole school cheered them on.

Hisoka clearly wasn't happy that I just KO'd his girlfriend and stood up. He seemed only to act on primal instinct and charged at me, totally forgetting that he has a wand. For me it seemed like he was moving in slow motion. So when Hisoka after an eternity of waiting finally got to where I was standing I simply side-stepped his punch and hit him in the gut.

Hisoka gasped for air and immediately fell to his knees. ''You little brat!'' he exclaimed through gritted teeth. I decided it was time to ask some questions and grabbed him by the collar.

''You want good cop or bad cop?'' I asked him. Hisoka didn't really seem to get it and thrash around a bit trying to loosen my grip. He even tried to bite me. ''Bad cop it is'' And I slammed him against the wall.

I started my investigation ''Who are you working for and WHERE IS SHE'' Hisoka was shocked by my sudden outburst and I could see actual fear in his eyes. I could not only see it but smell his fear. Being a vampire had its weird quirks. I was a bit sad that he didn't get my reference but all was well.

Hisoka finally started talking ''I-I- W-work for the f-flaying business'' This upset me. Like who was trying to flay little children what a sicko. But I wasn't satisfied with his answer, I wanted names.

''You better give me some names or I'll break your leg in the name of JUSTICE'' Hisoka didn't have much time to answer since I did it anyways. If I was trying to do a batman imitation I might as well go all the way and copy his ruthlessness. Batman is known to shoot first and ask questions later.

Hisoka wasn't that frightening anymore. He turned into a baby crying for his mother, literally crying for his mother. He must be so embarrassed that he's lost against an 8 year old. ''Okay okay, I'll give you a name just please stop hurting me!''

''Well then stop saying that you'll give me a name and give me one!'' I yelled at him, he seemed to be leaking down there. Am I that scary? I decided to scare him even further. I took off my sunglasses and made him look into my piercing red eyes. This had a hypnotic effect, Hisoka's look became vacant and stopped struggling.

Perhaps my eyes were hypnotic? So the plot thickens! I'm pretty sure my mum doesn't have that power so maybe half-breeds had more powers and traits than a normal vampire? It would certainly make sense otherwise vampires could surely conquer wizardkind if they were all as strong as I was.

I proceeded to ask the golden question ''Who are you working for… Specifically?'' Hisoka reacted in a robot-like manner. He heard my question and he seemed to be visibly trying to comprehend it but there was this haze in front of his eyes. This certainly seemed to be a powerful ability. I could clearly see he was trying to resist it but it didn't work. It was like a mixture of Crucio and Imperio. It was weaker than Imperio in it's controlling power but if they wanted to resist they would be harmed in some way.

Hisoka's body relaxed, now I controlled him. ''I work for the flaying and ritual shops, but for Thorfinn Rowle specifically'' Thorfinn Rowle, that's a name I recognised from when I read the books. He was the death eater that got obliviated by Hermione in the Deathly Hallows.

''He controls the trade routes and makes sure the Lord would get his ritual supplies when needed, but now that the dark Lord has vanished he hides in plain sight by funding shops in the Diagon Alley and Knockturn alley''

Hmm, so he's the little snake I'm looking for. He might be a difficult target to take down and I would directly interfere in the canon. I was not sure how I was supposed to feel about that. On the other hand I really wanted to change the canon but that would make it really difficult to predict and would probably just make it more dangerous.

But taking down Thorfinn is just the beginning. After all there's also Voldemort and his most lethal group of death eaters. They're the most loyal and desperate for his return. But I didn't lose hope even though the odds were overwhelming. There's always a bigger fish after all.

Suddenly I was reminded of the fact that Hisoka knew I was a vampire! I needed to wipe his memory somehow. Maybe just asking him to forget would work? So I did.

''You'll forget all that's transpired this afternoon but remain to be a loyal servant to me. You'll leave me letters under my name with information at Gringotts. You may never tell anyone of my name and if you notice that someone prods in your mind to extract information you'll directly kill yourself''

Hisoka simply nodded to show that he understood. And his mind immediately went blank now confused with my appearance, probably trying to recall who I was. I continued my orders ''Now rise, Lord Hisoka! And fulfill your duties and return to your former master''

Hisoka got up and ran off to report to his old master. I hope my puppet will last long. Oh well all in a good day's work. I headed off with my goodies that I purchased and headed back into Diagon Alley.

The warmth returned immediately in the air and the sun beams felt like they were welcoming me back from the darkness. My body finally relaxed and the muscles I was using finally sighed in relieved. My body wasn't able to handle the stress of being in a full-scaled battle yet.

Final episode of the day. Have a goodnight's sleep in a minute, I'm sure I will. And I hope y'all wake up with a smile on your face :)
