The real magic

Why will I make my own wand? There are two rumors spreading in my previous life one the wand at Olivander's has a trace on it for the tracking of magic used for the under-aged wizards and witches, but the fact that a young wizard or witch for that matter can practice magic without alerting the ministry of magic. So here comes the other, the trace is put on the children when on a boat in their first time attending Hogwarts, maybe there is a rune or spells that will activate inside the wand because if he or she left his wand in his/her house and use other wands away from the place where the wand is it will also not alert the MOM. Both I must take precautions on, in time the truth shall be discovered.

In reality, I don't need a wand I have my ring. Many magical communities around the world don't use wands. The first wizards and witches did not own a wand. It's just that the wizarding world discovered that using an object to amplify or direct the magic being released. In fact, chants were not also needed to perform magic. I will make the Lumos spell as an example for this explanation. Without opening any book about spells, let's say he/she saw the Hogwarts professor performing a chantless Lumos to show his/her parents previously, and he/she tried to light up a wand there is a chance that the wand will produce light. Why? Its simple wizards have the capability to have and store magic in his body. And it can be used with intent. A wizard with no background in magic and just known magic exist recently succeeded in casting a chantless Lumos. I'll add a scenario. The newly wizard opened the book of spells and charms and have read the spell Lumos and its purpose. He tried the spell with the chant. Boom. A light appeared again what is the difference? To answer that we need statistics.

Let's say 100 muggle boy wizards were accepted to attend Hogwarts. In the same scenario, a professor visits the parent shown some magic including a chantless Lumos to light up his wand. The first factor the boy that night tried Lumos without a wand and also without the chant. Just his hands, plain and simple out of 100 there is a 3% chance or zero to three boys will succeed in performing Lumos with only their hands. It will depend on two things the magic inside him and his intent.

Now the other scenario after the shopping at Diagon Alley. A Lumos spell performed only using a wand. The change goes way up high this time about 5 to 35 wizards will be able to succeed in performing Lumos using a wand but without a chant. It will not be zero because now there are three factors in the equation. The magic inside the wizard, his intent to produce light, and a very special item amplifier the wand.

The last scenario. Lumos, performed by a wizard with a wand and also the chant Lumos. A whopping number will appear in the results. 35 to 80 percent will succeed. The reason? The now four factors, which are the magic inside the wizard, the intent to make light, the amplifier object which is the wand in this case, and a chant. The chant only amplifies the intent, not the magic itself. So more chances of succeeding. But the question now is why not all, why do others fail?

They all have the magic they all have wands they all chanted but not all have intent to produce light. Some want to copy the result not make light. The biggest reason for them all doubt. Doubt cancel the intent. So you have magic, a wand, and the chant but not the intent.

I remember Ron chanting the wingardium leviosa spell. That is a very good example. The wand movement is not necessary nor the proper chant is needed. He doubt himself that is why he failed.

Chantless and wandless magic can be done it will just depend on two factors. One how much is your magic reserves. To how much you wanted it or what level your intent is. Remember Harry just looking at Vernon Sister. No chanting no wand but he did human transfigurations. That is magic at its finest.

As for me, I can do it too but not that powerful I even have telekinesis using my will and magic to make things fly I did practice it a lot after a got my ring for three years I practiced that before sleeping and in the morning my physical exercises. Especially after I absorb the morning sun.

I can do chantless magic but only on simple spells I do use parseltongue to chant and it did amplify my spells. Parseltongue resonates with the magic in the environment it was an ancient language from the beginning so it compliments the magic here on earth. Magical powers in the environment have its own persona that is why we wizard even magical creatures can perform rituals and magic as its witness. Magic can implement the consequences if the contract is broken.

So it can think independently.

Still, if I want to perform powerful magic I need as many amplifiers as I can, not only to perform powerful magic but save the amount of usage of my magical reserves.

Going back in the blacksmith. A got my wand 12" exactly a very thin wand. I think I can add wood as an additional layer to further lengthen and thickened it. I will have to put that aside for now. I did the barter payment and go on my way back to the castle and check on the others on how they are doing.

In the premises of the castle, I found the elder in the main hall. He stops me for a second to have a chat. We go to his private chamber.

[tell me young Ophias do you enjoy your time here?]

[yes elder, very much.]

[your three companions, they are very capable I have seen them during their training. What do you think of my Daughter?]

[ she is very knowledgeable, elder.]

[ I've been informed that you collect magical plants and creatures. I have prepared those in the treasury to bring this emblem to them and they will allow you to get anything from the treasury. Also, I am curious how much do you know about your role in our bloodline?] the elder handed me the emblem after that he look far outside through the window.

I had a bad feeling about this.. [ well elder you see I'm too young for that responsibility, I do know the heavy burden that was and is put upon my shoulder. As far as I am concerned I just want to enjoy life and strengthen myself for the moment. I don't want to jump on that responsibility yet.] I did speak with a cheeky answer.

[my Daughter, she is my only daughter, I have many sons but that one is my princess.] the elder began to narrate.

[elder not to impose anything or me meddling your decision but why not let her stay? I do have enough companion guards with me at the moment.]

[ why? Do you think my daughter is ugly or not capable enough? It was agreed upon by the council of our bloodline. It was a very hard decision I made, to part with her. But I can not do anything now, we have, I and the Luther council swear upon our magic to uphold what we discussed for our future. You see her Mother died in pursuing her dreams to find and discover delicious food, she is a gourmet hunter. Very adventurous and had to control that on. I swear on his grave that I will not allow myself to find another siren. She is the only one I loved.]

[elder are you crying?]

Snob. [ no.] elder said with a denial tone.

I walk near him. [ is that tears?]

Sniff [no. Something went inside my eyes. I'm just removing it.]

[elder if it's hard to part with your daughter why did you volunteer her and not one of your sonS or out her sirens? In any case, I will not mind that.]

The elder stiffened and pause for a while then slithers towards a small table where there is a small figurine and holds it. [oooh, Arianna I have failed you, I have failed us, I'm sorry for being an idiot. You were always the one that has good decisions. Why did you have to go early? WHYYYY!!!] Eder made a pose like he was kneeling and both his arms stretch out wide the fingers form a pose like crushing a rock.
