Chance to freedom

The guard went to old man Ivan and explained the situation word for word and was frantic about it as this wasn't part of the plan's initial setup, which seemed to derail a bit. And upon old man Ivan receiving the message he knew that the plan was found out and immediately told them to apprehend the girl.

Three guards went after her and she showed no resistance to them, capturing her as she was silent as a mouse. Even when old man Ivan saw her all he saw was that she had short brown hair, a slim muscular body with her light brown skin, and was still growing as she looked about 15 to 16 years of age. Not only was there her medium stature but she had beautiful emerald green eyes that looked like gems. It was just that they looked dull as if they had been through mud and dirt and left to wither away.

Old man Ivan seeing this told them to discreetly place her somewhere to talk without alerting the others. As to not seem suspicious the guards ranted about that she was a thief that stole some grain from them weeks ago due to some negligence in guarding the food storage unit.

Everyone in the line believed it as everything seemed normal even the spies that were watching as one of their associates were taken away breathed a sigh of relief in seeing that the matter was not discovering spies but just that she just got caught in the act of petty thievery.

They even shook their heads slightly knowing that she did something so stupid as they were wondering if she got taught properly by her master how to survive long periods without food or even how to steal properly but they just went back to the usual order of things escape this place to get rewarded from the news they will bring back to their masters.

The young girl was placed in a room that was used to hold prisoners and was watched by the guards until old man Ivan came to clarify the situation. It took 20 minutes of waiting until he finally arrived and told them to untie the girl which was tied to the piece of wooden frame in the middle of the room.

Old man Ivan then sat down and stared at the young girl and she stared at him as well then he spoke " You are a spy and you asked for help that's laughable because I'm wondering why are you asking for help right now when we are leaving to the surface hmm I waiting for the answer"

He said this in a serious and plain tone wanting to get answers from the young girl. This was led by a 30-second silence which made things awkward in this type of atmosphere but this was only until she finally spoke out the reason saying. " I don't want to do this anymore, I want to be free and I don't want to be a slave"

She started sobbing and choking on her words while saying this which gave her eyes a gleam different from the dullness from earlier she then continued her speech " I saw that you were going up and this was related to the visitors but I know that it's because of something that will change person lives for those who follow along"

" That's why I took this chance we're beaten some are raped and some even used for sports worst yet some are used for experiments back there I was lucky that they didn't do anything to me because I was sick at that time and that's how I made it here"

She was pretty vague but old man Ivan guessed as he had experience with the slave seals as saying certain things about their master or revealing the truth will immediately cause them death, so he understood when he filled out the pieces and even hearing the things from here mouth he was as angry as ever as how they were treated like lambs to the slaughter and toys for their amusement. But old man Ivan continued listening.

" I can't say much or I'll die or betray my master or the others relating to him but if you can help me I can tell you about the rest so you don't have to worry just please give me a chance to get out of slavery please help me."

Old man Ivan hearing her pleas was sympathetic with her as it was the only chance she has to get free and I'm sure the young god knows how to solve the problem of the slave seal but the thing is can he actually trust her because if he makes this bet it could jeopardize everything but if he doesn't and the chance that she is truly truthful to him he would be cutting off her only path of survival.

Thinking these thoughts, old man Ivan was conflicted but remembering some things in the past if he didn't take a chance how would he get here right now so he chose to trust her with caution. " Ok then as long as you tell me who they are I will do my best but you'll still be watched and know this if anything you say was a lie you will rather be back at your old life instead of here"

Hearing this she thanked him many times for giving her this chance so she quickly told old man Ivan about the many spies that were in the camp and hearing the numbers he was shocked and even some of the people he knew were not well but ok was a part of it.

He thanked her and told the guards to bring her up but to watch her and tell Karisa about the situation if she can also judge this.

With all said and done they could now get back to the line situation which was finally complete after many hours of work seeing that the underground was cleared out and finally no spies were left he was happy especially when he most possibly caught an important spy belonging to the same entourage young girl came from as before and he was caught due her frightened stated seeing that expression old man Ivan quickly ordered them to catch him and was tied up.

Now old man Ivan can finally get some information with Karisa and the rest of her group present to see the show happening.
