Provocation?

"What's that 'eh' for? Do I look weak to you?" The sudden question made Ijin startled but knowing how weirdly he made that sound, he reacted instantly.

"No nothing like that. I was just surprised when you asked me so suddenly. Anyway, I don't plan on sparing today, so please look for someone else." Ijin was somewhat thrilled in his mind and his tongue twisting as he said but with his changing attitude recently he was able to hide his surprise after seeing the raven-haired girl.

Ijin, after rejecting the girl returned to his onslaught before the girl again interjected in.

"Why? Are you scared?" Ijin face changed or rather he wanted to but didn't react to it. He knew how clichè of this provocative phrase always leads to a definite path.

He didn't respond to her and after some second she left his side. Ijin took a mental note to be always alert wherever he was. Just now he wasnt able to perceive when someone reached so near him. It wasn't like he had any danger near him but still being completely off guard wouldn't be good for a habit.

*Dhak*

While thinking about why some specific characters were popping out like this he continued. Well, there was a common thing among every woman he have come across until now, belonging to a different world.

'They all were my favorite...' He wasnt an idiot to know that the existence of these women specifically around him was influenced by his choice.

[Dont think of it as anything strange. God just offered you some gift in this life so you don't regret your days.]

Because of the sudden voice in his head, which seemed strangely familiar yet not, his hand movement stopped. He didn't move and with a conflict of look thought in his mind.

'Is this your real voice?'

[Yes. Last time as I said, I was resonating it intentionally so I don't end up banging your head]

'Was I that sensitive...?' While making a troubled face, Ijin decided upon calling it a day as he started walking towards the changing room while crossing half of the gym.

He didn't miss the judging look of the people from all around the place but that doesn't concern him much.

[As surreal as it sounds your whole body was alerted to the point where a single flick could have given you a jolt of pain equivalent to death. You are taking the breathing technique too causally]

'Hey! I am not!!' Ijin countered with an inward shout before he slammed closed his locker and went out. He know shouting wouldn't help and what the administrator was saying, was true.

As he went out, he didn't stop and got out of the gym. In the way, he wasnt able to catch the intentional showcase of combat technique that the raven-haired girl was showcasing just to prove to him and draw Ijin's attention.

"I lost!" With his two hands raised in the air, the opponent of the woman carrying fierce violet eyes knelt on the ring with his face black and blue with the bruises.

"Woof! Nari is on fire today!" Exclaimed a girl slightly older for being a student, while fanning her face in exaggeration.

"Yeah, Nari. You look exceptionally high-spirited today. Is it because of that guy before?" A smug appeared on another girl's face who looked in the same age group as the raven beauty.

It was widely known how a single woman in the whole gym holds the record of winning spars with whomever she fought. She was previously trained by the gym master who was now retired and Nari was his only student which gave lessons for more than 6 years. Now Nari was the handler of the gym which very few people know as her wish to remain low profile but her high and mighty aura does represent the authority she has.

Apart from combat Nari had various talents in which she love to compete with anyone she find worthy or not. She just loves the feeling of dominating others and showing that she's the best. A little full of herself, a little egoistic, and wholly sharp tongued that's how she was and she was proud of it.

"Nah! Today or tomorrow I will draw him toward me and when he will, I will make sure to crush that pride (~self imaginative~) off his face."

After leaving the gym, Ijin went directly back home without further delay. Since it was already half past 6 he only had an hour to prepare for school. On the way home, he wasnt able to contact his admin, for some reason. Not only now but even yesterday, he wasn't able to contact the dignified voice a single time after both parties got introduced to each other.

"Ah! Ijin." Just stepping inside the house what greeted him was a dream-like scene. His rushed movement was halted with every single muscle frozen at its place.

The woman which he regards as aunt now was standing there with a blooming smile on her face. Her pajama's top two buttons were undone with her hair messily all over her head. Her perfect figure was being hugged wirh her sleepwear at every turn and inch like it was made for her to be adorned. Not only a decent amount of skin was exposed on her upper body, but the little blush on her face did a great job making Ijin's blood rush downwards.

He has virtually seen her naked but in reality, this amount of skin exposure made his throat void of words and pause at the place for quite a few moments. His eyes were fixated on her which made her a little shy away and break the eye contact before she asked.

"Is there something on my face..?" She asked while trying to compose herself as she started combing her hair naturally as if nothing happened.

Ijin got out of the trance and with the self-realization of what he was doing, he felt bad before he walked inside.

"No I was just...anyway, I will be going." This was the first time after he came back that he didn't greet his ajumma nor talked adequately as she was getting accustomed to. She saw him rushing upstairs but she didn't say anything.

After she heard the door from the upper floor opening and closing, she sighed in relief.

'What just happened...' She didn't like how she behaved just now. She knew Ijin was just looking at her but his eyes showed emotion that she receive on daily basis but from others. A look she had gotten used to for very long as she was very well aware of how pretty she looked but she never liked it in the past. But the gaze she received today was different from any other and she did not hate it.

What concerned her was her reaction.

She wasnt sure why she shied away from his eyes or why she behaved like his gaze affected her which eventually made her a little shameful.

'God...what am I even thinking...'

After changing into their school uniforms and having a little less talkative breakfast unlike the previous day, the sibling left the house and headed toward their school.

"It's strange how silent aunt was today..." Dayun muttered as she remembered the zoning out temperament of her aunt this morning. Generally, either she remains groggy to even talk with or energetic like an elementary schooler, but today Dayun saw a new side of her aunt.

"Is it? Well, I guess she is working harder these days. Don't worry I will do something about it." Dayun wanted to say something when she heard her big brother but she thought reacting to this would only get things in the wrong way so she stayed silent.

"...thanks Oppa."

In th school, nothing was different from normal. Like yesterday, Ijin went to his destined seat and saw his neighbor absent for some reason. But before he could ponder about anything else, two figures emerged inside the classroom, creating quite a commotion already. The murmurs which erupted upon these two certain people's arrival were more than how they reacted upon Ijin's joining the class.

As Ijin focused his gaze on these two he knew who they were and soon shrugged off the matter.

A girl with alluring chestnut-black hair and faded blue eyes entered the perception of everyone present inside the classroom. Her height was around 170cm with chest-length wavy hairs which covered her forehead from either side. Her figure was undoubtedly the idle type that a girl or numerous women too, desire to possess. Her lips were supple with pink glitter over them, making her look like a sculptured doll that was made to attract people toward her.

With her stood an upright young man with narrow eyes and a serious demeanor around him. He had deep raven hairs like coal with frills above his eyes giving him a gentlemanly look. All in all, he was a handsome young man with a build many girls would love to be held in.

Both personalities were widely known among the students which didn't surprise Ijin at all as he started rummaging through his phone.

Despite her beautiful appearance, the girl was far from egoistic as she smiled and greeted various fellow students along the way before she made her way toward the end of the room.

It would be a lie to say that these two people didn't see Ijin, and wasn't quite interested in him for some contradicting reason. The boy looked at the aloof Ijin with suspicions and questioning gaze while the pretty girl looked at him with utter wishfulness to know him.

It wasnt she just fell for him at the first sight, rather she was just interested in how he didn't spare another glance at her even though they have come across only this first time.

As the two seated side by side, with just a seat left beside Ijin, the girl named Shin Yuna whispered in a very soft yet audible tone toward the boy seated next to her.

"Who is he? Is he a celebrity?"

The guy, named, Koh Sukjoo, clearly knew who she was regarding, so with a glance toward the corner of the class he whispered back.

"I am not quite certain. He wasnt included in the report I received last week." As he said, Yuna met with a pair of eyes all of a sudden. As Ijin looked at her for the first time, she made her best smile. However, instead of getting flustered, as usual, men became upon receiving her beautiful smile, he just ignored her and looked straight, like he didn't see her and was staring at the wall behind.

She pouted as a complaining voice erupted in her mind. Soon she also didn't persuade the matter more before the homeroom started.

The introduction of these students who were studying in America for two years happened again in front of the whole class before the lesson was initiated.

Nothing out of the norm happened to Ijin except for the glances he was receiving now and then from the beautiful seating just a seat away from him.

At lunch, he didn't wait at all and went out in a rush. He wasnt bothered by the complaining look of the professor who wasnt happy upon seeing how impatient her student was to leave the class in so an abrupt manner.

But at the moment Ijin wasnt concerned about it at. In a flash, he went toward the junior section of the school while passing by new faces that he hadn't seen until now.

After crossing two floors and a long gallery he finally arrived at his destination.

Peeking inside a certain classroom he sighed in relief before an uncontrollable smile formed on his face increasing his charm to a certain height.

The people passing by looked quite good time at the student who surely looked senior to them and even took pictures of him. Ijin felt being the center of attraction so without any further ado he walked away.

[You strangely have become real protective of your sister in so less time. It might hamper your decision in near future]

What seemed familiar at the same time new to him, a distinct voice echoed in his mind before his usual expressionless aura, completely different from a moment ago, returned like it never went away.

'Maybe or maybe not...but having some to care about is very advantageous in case I ever lose my will to fight...' The system went silent as if the realization hit her hard before another topic got teased by the prior party.

[Have you found a way to increase your training time and methods so you can get accustomed to your powers?]

'Yes. But the problem is those code-named people who will come looking for me which would eventually draw my family in...' Ijin at this point already was at the stage where he could take a bullet if it's for the two ladies whome he calls his family. Maybe it was the effect of his previous life's loneliness or Ijin's real personality, but he was sure that he had to protect whome he love.

[Dont take stress about it anymore. To be blunt this world was just your training ground and a place where you can return so to make things not get hectic for you even in this world, God altered the reality to some extent.]

Ijin's lips twitched as he heard 'some extent' added with the word alteration but he let the lady continue.

[So apart from daily problems like the previous bullying and stuff, you don't have to worry about anything else. Like me and numerous other beings, wants you to focus on the upcoming mission as it concerns the actuality of countless beings regardless of race.]

Suddenly Ijin's shoulder felt heavy and his breathing choked slightly inside his throat but sensing the helplessness in the lady's voice for the first time, he didn't joke but in a cold yet determined tone whispered in his mind...

'Leave it to me.'
