Fighting Wu Zhangkong Again, Part 2

"Be careful, Teacher Wu!" Excitedly shouting out, Gloxinia returned his words to him and clapped his hands hard, as the small bits of ice on Wu Zhangkong's chest quickly spread, freezing him in place as if he was an ice statue.

At this time, Basquias who had been called back also arrived, heading straight for Wu Zhangkong's heart.

Right when it was about to hit, Gloxinia planned to stop it so Wu Zhangkong didn't die, but before he could do so, Wu Zhangkong's sixth spirit ring lit up and a misty fog broke out of his body and got rid of the ice surrounding him, causing shards of ice to fly off his body and stab into the walls.

This was his spirit skill, Condensed Frost.

Condensed Frost let the user stack up soul power and then let it all out at once, creating an attack much more powerful than usual and bringing the user's ice abilities to that of Ultimate Ice for the attack.

As the fog spread around the room, a chill involuntarily ran down the spines of everyone around, causing goosebumps to form on their skin.

With the fog getting closer to him, Gloxinia retreated a few feet back and the ring hidden on his wings floated behind him and grew bigger, creating a rainbow halo-like construct to be formed.

As it started to glow, Ultimate Ice formed all around Gloxinia, creating a small ice world a foot or so around him.

Not only that but Gloxinia's wings also started giving off a light blue hue, making him look like an angel of ice.

This was all the effects of Gloxinia's bloodline spirit ring, Link.

Link let Gloxinia connect to anything that is connected to the Sacred Tree and utilize their powers as his own.

So, he used it to connect with the Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass and gained the ability to control and create Ultimate Ice at the 1000 year level.

This skill, was truly overpowered. In the future when he gets more heaven and earth treasures and more fairies are born, he would be able to connect to each and every one of them at the same time.

Wu Zhankong noticed the danger of Gloxinia's ice and decisively controlled the fog to become more ice-like and form a pattern that seemed to follow the same pattern as his Frost Scar.

Waving his hand, Wu Zhangkong sent the Forst Scar patterned ice towards Gloxinia, but this time he used the fog to fill in the opening, leaving no way out.

However, he forgot about something very important, Basquias.

With a golden flash, Basquias immediately appeared behind Wu Zhangkong and stabbed at his back.

Unfortunately, Wu Zhangkong wasn't a rookie and managed to barely react, turning sideways to avoid most of the damage but was still scratched on his chest, cutting his clothes slightly causing his muscles to be seen.

At this, Xu Xiaoyan's nose seemingly started to bleed and she blushed crazily, burying her head in her hands. Even Gu Yue was blushing slightly, Wu Zhangkong was truly a handsome specimen.

As the threat of death approached closer and closer, Gloxinia lifted his hand and turned his small ice domain into a wave of ice, which pushed against Wu Zhangkong's attack.

At the same time, Wu Zhangkong and Basquias enganged in a melee battle, with Wu Zhangkong winning by a large margin as Gloxinia was too preoccupied to command Basquias well.

As the seconds passed, Wu Zhangkong's second spirit ring lit up and frost instantly covered Basquias, freezing it in place for a second.

This second however, was all Wu Zhangkong needed to grab it and send it flying outside the building.

With Basquias gone, Wu Zhangkong rushed towards Gloxinia, forming a slight opening in his earlier attack and slashing the wave of ice created by Gloxinia, forming a direct path to him.

Seeing this, Gloxinia frowned and tried to use the ice inside the wave of ice to surround Wu Zhangkong and trap him there.

Unfortunately, Wu Zhangkong wasn't a Soul Emperor just for show and easily broke all the ice surrounding him, creating an image which looked as if stars were falling.

Arriving next to Gloxinia, Wu Zhangkong placed his Skyfrost Sword next to his neck and coldly said, "It's over, I won."

Lifting his hands as if putting them in a surrender position, Gloxinia smiled lightly and said, "Look behind you."

Turning his head, Wu Zhangkong stared behind him but found nothing there, all there was that could be said to be of note was the distant Basquias flying back to the building from outside, however it was too far to do anything for now.

As confusion entered his eyes, Wu Zhangkong suddenly felt something hit the back of his head.

Turning around, Wu Zhangkong saw Gloxinia who had surrounded his fist with Ultimate Ice and tried to hit the back of his head..

"Why did you do that?" Harshly asking, Wu Zhangkong truly wanted to know the reason. Did he really think that he would be knocked out from a single punch?

"Oh haha, no reason.." Guiltily responding, Gloxinia lowered his head whilst internally cursing, 'Those novels and anime lied! Hitting someone on the back of their head doesn't knock them out! Or maybe its because I punched instead of chopped?'

"Alright well the battle is over now."

As the battle ended and they both returned to the others, they couldn't help but notice how all of them were shocked while the girls were blushing.

The reason they were shocked was quite simple, it was too incredulous to see a Soul Elder fight a Soul Emperor like Wu Zhangkong so well, that Soul Elder was also only 9 years old!

At this time, Long Hengxu walked over to Wu Zhangkong. "Now I have more confidence in your class. I'm sure I can persuade the president to increase your resources. Teacher Wu, is there anything you need?"

Wu Zhangkong said, "The children could use more nutritious food. Nutrients are very important at their age. The martial soul is an extension of the body; it needs to be properly nourished."

Long Hengxu nodded reluctantly. "I'll tell the president. Teacher Wu, keep in mind that the president is facing a lot of pressure because of class zero. Just counting the cost for admittance to the spirit ascension platform, the amount of resources invested into class zero is enormous. Thankfully, things have been successful so far; you even managed to train a monster like Gloxinia. What the academy truly desires, however, is glory. You understand, right? The academy wants your students to participate in the Skysea Alliance Tournament. You should prepare for it. Even if they don't place too high, they need to at least amaze people and win the academy some fame. The goal is to have them win the Outstanding Newcomer Award or the Outstanding Newcomer Group Award."
