Chapter 99
The sun’s light penetrated through the glass window, illuminating the interior of the spacious bedroom, that was in silence for hours ago. Two naked bodies lay on the bed and their lower bodies were covered under a thick blanket. Suddenly, the silence was broken by the sound of a ringtone.
Jennet jerked from her slumber. She opened her sleepy eyes and yawned. Turning to the side, she grabbed the phone on the bedside table and read the message that was sent to her. Luca had just shared the location for their meeting venue.
She inhaled deeply before placing the phone back on the table. She turned to her other side, facing Hue, that was still asleep. His face, which was covered by a few locks of his hair, was glowing under the lights. She tucked the locks of hair behind his ear and then, resumed admiring his face in silence. Something hit her and she smiled. She leaned closer and stole a kiss from him. It was a light peck on the lips.
