Chapter 50 - Lighting Forest Chance

Miss Anya that appeared in Kyles memory was sweet and tender. She smiled and cared for Kyle, even though their interactions were small. She gave him this possibility to experience this amazing world for himself, and she also gave him a chance to become the greatest.

Kyle didn't fulfil her promise and carelessly charged into the battle that he couldn't win.

This thought made him clench his fist and grind his teeth.

Kyle was pretty much dead already, maybe after a single second, he would die fully.

At the last moment, Kyle gave into his feelings and a tear, man tear, flowed from one of his eyes and onto the chicks. Slowly it dropped from the check on to Kyle's hand that he tried to use the Wave of Conviction with.

Kyle closed his eyes and breathed out.

After 10 seconds, instead of stubbing pain, Kyle didn't feel anything. The speed of the halberd would have reached him by now. When Kyle opened his eyes, what greeted him was the same scene as before, but now countless white threads were coming from the floor of the cavern and binding the body of the general. Not only the general, everything around him had the same white lines.

Even the specs of dust and some of the small stones that got plunged into the air because of the fight also had the same white lines.

Kyle looked at himself and saw that his lines were not of white colour, but were of azure blue colour. They also didn't seem to be as tight as the white lines, and so Kyle could still move while everything was frozen.

Suddenly inside of his storage space the stones that he was able to pick up in the cave back when he fought the lion started to sizzle away and suddenly in the place where the elemental spheres were, inside of Kyle dantian, suddenly another cube of white and azure colour appeared. It was bright white and was first hidden inside the main cube that was in the middle of everything.

That cubes at first slowly separated, but now they felt as if brothers dancing and rotating around each other.

That cube was a time law manifestation that Kyle was finally able to touch. Considering that having any element affinity was incredibly rare, Kyle now had already lighting and time element affinity and a small amount of earth element incarnation.

Kyle still was paralysed from sadness and sorrow. He already gave up on his life, but it seems that something or someone didn't want his to die just yet. Considering that he completely forgot about these crystals, only the system could help him use them to make this amazing connection with time law.

As Kyle didn't know yet how to use the time law and how he is supposed to use it, he had to make every second count.

Kyle stood up, and with all of his might pulled off himself from the rock. As his body was stuck at first, pieces of skin ripped, and some skin stayed with the rock. Kyle, very slowly with the whole body bloodied and blood leaking from everywhere, Kyle moved to the general's body. Everything was frozen, and Kyle had climbed by the halberd and was standing on top of generals head.

Kyle stabilised the last of his qi he had, and with full power, he used the wave of conviction with all power that he had.

But this time, instead of separating into the separate points he just let the whole hand be engulfed fully with the qi, he had no power nor concentration to do it any other way.

At the last moment, when the time started to go back to normal, and he could feel the body under his feet started moving, he bent his thumb and released the full power of Wave of conviction through the whole body of the general.

Kyle had closed eyes, be he could feel melting smell of stone and sulphur as if a huge explosion was next to him.

The next thing he felt is falling, and he blanked out again.

At this time, on the 100th level of pagoda, there was complete silence, no-one said anything, and it seemed the time freeze went as far as this room, but by the sound of breathing you could tell that it was simply shock and surprise that has caused this situation.

Everyone was staring at the mirror. On it they saw the best genius of the past 100 years suddenly started loosing to the general of the 9th level, that was on the power level of the start of level 4 as it adjusted to how strong Kyle was.

The craziest thing is that Kyle could off won not for the size and structure of the general. This genius of the past 100 years now was slung into the wall and because he was careless was sure to die.

The worst face was of Volta, who was the lighting element elder, some other people though had a smile, Basalt was full-on smiling with all black teeth shown.

At the last moment, when they saw Kyle cry out a tear, and it started to drop, they saw something unbelievable that caused this tension inside the pagoda.

Kyle, who was sure to die, suddenly in a millisecond, appeared on top of generals head and used something that disintegrated the general's body.

Actually to say that this spell was aimed at the general was to say nothing. This was the same as if a nuclear bomb or a level 10 adventurer used his strongest skill. The whole cavern, as well as all other adjacent ravines, got affected. Actually, everything was destroyed, from the forest itself on top to the deepest level of the trial. Everything was destroyed with a single spell that this young boy of level 2 used.

This was the trial that was set up thousands of years ago by their elders, and now it was totally annihilated.
