Frostbane Serpent's Tear

Since Edible Plant Skill was a rare skill, it obviously could only provide information about fruits and plants with rare grades. Higher than that… Kaiju was confident he would be seeing more question marks than words.

Kaiju was expecting rare grade fruits, or even higher… but he was a bit dismayed it was rare fruit. Nonetheless, it should be beneficial to Snow, given her ranks. To be honest, he should not be disappointed, he should have not raised his expectations so high.

Kaiju shook his head, while receiving the fruit from the serpent's mouth, carefully handing the fruit. Even so, Kaiju was still perplexed why the serpent held so much killing intent towards him. Perhaps, it was because he killed its own kind.

'That should be reasonable.'

Kaiju instantly forgot the presence of the serpent as he was entirely distracted, reading information about the fruit. It even garnered bizarre gazes from his pets, but he wasn't aware of it.

{Frostbane Serpent's Tear (Rare Grade)

Description: This pearlescent, icy-blue fruit, often found in frigid, high-altitude regions, emanates a faint mist. It's considered a treasure among beasts with ice-related bloodlines.

Effects once consumed:

Attribute Boost: Increases Strength and Agility attributes by 15 points each for the consumer, providing a significant boost that helps bridge the gap to the next rank.

Bloodline Awakening: Awakens latent abilities related to ice, granting the consumer an enhanced affinity with frost-based abilities. Additionally, it stirs the consumer's poison attribute, allowing their venom to take on a "frostbite" effect, slowing down enemies or causing numbness alongside traditional poison effects.

Rank Elevation: If the consumer's rank is Corrupted below, there's a chance for its rank to elevate to Corrupted rank.}

Kaiju was genuinely astonished and awed by the information about the fruit. Furthermore, the descriptions were even much less than the effects. There were too many effects here, making it significantly a treasure to the consumer. Even more so, when it has high compatibility with the consumer.

However, what Kaiju found astonished though was the Bloodline Awakening. It was no stranger for him, as humans relied on their bloodline to awaken just so they could rise through the ranks and even possibly become a Realmbreaker player. Realmbreaker player were those players who could instantly defeat their enemies on the same rank, and possibly conquer even the enemies a rank higher than them.

Those Realmbreaker could be counted with hands. Of course, that only applied to the same race, as racial traits were distinct – some were naturally born stronger than others, causing their race to stand at the top of the food chains in the tower. Obviously, humans were the lowest.

That was why other players were willing to become slaves of other races of higher rank, to obtain their affinity, and possibly be given a pure drop of blood of other races, awakening their bloodline on their body. This phenomena was only possible for human races due to their physique having the ability to adapt. Still, affinity was important, without it, there would be chances of failure in the awakening of bloodline.

Since Snow already has a bloodline of an Ancient Beast, she didn't need the pure blood of other races to obtain Bloodline Awakening. She only needed to consume something that would awaken the blood flowing through her veins. However, Kaiju found it unexpected that the fruit the Overlord beast provided actually has a mixture of poison and ice elements.

Does that mean the bloodline of Snow has a mixture of elements with it, having a high affinity with the two elements? That was rare.

Kaiju had to admit that Snow's potential was limitless. After all, Ancient Beast was pretty much on the same level of High-Ranker – again, depending on the race. Nevertheless, with such a walking Ancient beast becoming his pet, that also means Kaiju had the potential to soar through the ranks of human awakeners.

Kaiju suppressed his excitement as he urged Snow to eat the fruit. Snow didn't dilly-dally either, for her saliva was already drooping the more her eyes wouldn't blink, staring intensely at the fruit on her master's hands. As soon as she received the order, she quickly leapt forward while her master threw the fruit in the air.

Snow gobbled the fruit, savoring the taste before gulping it in one go. Some liquid managed to crawl out of her mouth, but before it fell to the ground, she licked them all with her lengthy tongue.

Kaiju was trembling in excitement, staring intently at Snow. He knew the effects of the fruit – Rank Elevation – anticipating for Snow to ascend. He witnessed the power of the Corrupted rank beast, as he barely defeated one.

'Huh?'

Only now, Kaiju realized he actually had become a Realmbreaker. After all, he defeated a Corrupted rank beast with his measly strength, not even becoming an Awakener yet. Do note that the Corrupted rank beast has a strength equal to Awakener. Despite his attributes being nowhere near the Awakeners, he still managed to defeat a Corrupted rank.

That was a feat that if he told others about it, they wouldn't listen to him, just treating it as an exaggerating tale.

Nevertheless, most Awakeners barely have a single Rare artifact. If it was not for Kaiju's Gacha Luck System, he might not have been able to defeat the Corrupted Rank at all. There was Snow, too, who contributed a lot to the fight. Although Kaiju might have cheated – his personal opinion – the fact he defeated the Corrupted Rank was already astonishing.

Speaking of cheats, Kaiju glanced at Snow and the Beastmaster title effects finally dawned on him. He recalled he could extract one skill from different beasts he formed a contract with, could he still be able to change the skills since it was already expected Snow would unlock another, possibly higher than Swift Dash, skill?

He asked about the Gacha System.

{No.}

She didn't even bother explaining.

Kaiju sighed.

Nevertheless, such an answer didn't spoil his happiness for Snow's ascension. He focused on Snow once again and perceived her skin was detaching itself, revealing a new, much more, pristine milky-white skin.

When Kaiju scrutinized, he perceived the scale seemed to become more sturdy than before. Furthermore, there was a mist of chill emanating from it, while an aura of venom mixed within. Just staring at it made Kaiju's hair stand on ends.

"Heh! What do you expect? It's a Corrupted rank beast with a bloodline awakening… of an Ancient beast at that! I dare you to fight with her. Even if you are lucky, you'd still die!"

Kaiju rolled his eyes at the Overlord beast's comment.

After all, there was no way for him to fight his pet.
