This is a Cat-astrophe!

`This is unexpected, to say the least.

The last thing I remember is sitting on the toilet and feeling tired.

So I closed my eyes for just a second and when I opened them again, I am in this endless darkness.

Everything is just black and empty.

Like the abyss I suppose.

And I just noticed that I can not feel my body.

Juuuust great...`

*Sigh*

`Oh well, at least I will not have to bother with the work I was supposed to submit to my boss today.`

`This is getting quite boring.

Just drifting here in this infinite darkness

Maybe I should just rest and get my thoughts in order, you know on the off chance that something might come up.

And now I have an excuse to sleep~`

[ an undisclosed amount of time later]

While the sleeping soul is leisurely drifting through the Void.

Motes of light start to gather in front of it.

They slowly come together to form a glowing being made out of blinding light...

It wears a black bodysuit and over it a yellow-orange jacket with a matching pair of pants.

On Its head is a green heart-shaped circlet similar to those on its knees

Its hair looks like it was sprinkled with gold and its auburn eyes stare inquisitively at the blob in front of it.

"Never say never.

Who would have thought that a human soul would find its way here?"

It stretched its arm towards Daniel.

"but now that begs the question of what I am going to do with it?

Oh, I have a great idea!"

While it has Daniel´s soul in its grasp its other arm makes a circular motion, creating a golden afterimage.

The afterimage starts to become more pronounced and starts to slowly pick up speed until it is a swirling mass of golden energy.

"Good now that I have a stable portal I should modify the soul a little bit to make this endeavor at least a little bit more interesting"

With these words, green threads seem to bind themselves to the soul and merge with it giving the human soul a circuit-like pattern.

"Now that should do it.

Have fun, little soul.

I will be watching..."

The glowing being pushes Daniel into the portal.

it stands there for a few moments to watch the swirl of energy slowly dissipate and follows soon after.

´Uggghh, goddammit who opened my shutters.

Am I asking for too much when I just want to catch some shut-eye?

Oh well, I am awake now soooo...

This is not my room.

Nor the bathroom or that weird lucid dream abyss I was in earlier.

The hell is going on?!`

I look around and notice that I am in an alleyway between some trashcans.

The sky seems to be clear and the temperature is slightly chilly.

I try to stand up and immediately notice that something seems to be off with my hands.

No, rather my whole body feels strange and there seems to be some sort of weight near the end of my back.

`What the hell happened to me?!´

I go on all four and try to press myself up but I lose my balance.

`Okay, now I am unable to stand or what?`

I lift a paw to my face- wait a minute A PAW!?!

Frantically I start to inspect my body

`Nonononoono, why meeee!!!`

A cat.

That is what I am now.

F*ck my life...
