Unable to confess

When Huo Chenzhong departed, leaving Han Xuelian and Chi Cheng to themselves, the Grandmaster was determined to have his questions from the previous night answered. His arm around Chi Cheng's midsection tightened, unwilling to allow his dear broken jewel to escape.

"You asked me to forgive you last night," Han Xuelian's tone was icy, temporarily caging his affections for Chi Cheng. He knew that if he were to face the former Celestial Beast directly, he would become weakened by him and end up letting the matter slide. "Why?" The Grandmaster interrogated, his hand snaking up Chi Cheng's throat lightly. "What would you need my forgiveness for?"
