A western twist on a typical shounen action story. It's similar in premise and tone to stories like GATE with a splash of the 'kid gets marketable object/game/pet and starts saving the world/dueling other kids with it' genre, and a target audience between those two age groups. There are things the story will expect you to simply accept as part of the story set-up, but it is along the same lines as the conceits seen in your average story about a highschool age or younger child receiving an improbably dangerous and deadly device as if that's perfectly normal. In particular the early chapters are very confusing whose perspective you're following, but if this were adapted into a visual medium like a webtoon/manga/anime that wouldn't be a concern. It's comfortable in knowing exactly where it stands as a fun and violent teen-focused fantasy action story and doesn't try to masquerade as anything else. When faced with a chaotic and violent apocalypse, you can be assured the main characters will charge into the action and do their best every time, rather than run and hide. If a shounen-age demographic urban fantasy action story appeals to you, particularly with the added gacha gimmick explaining how each MC ends up with their unique power set, or if you like 'rage against the dying of the light' style apocalypse scenarios where the characters fight through the monsters themselves rather than running and hiding from the overwhelming and inexplicable forces, then you're likely to enjoy the story. In short, if you like your apocalypse invasion stories along the lines of Battle for LA and Edge of Tomorrow you will enjoy this story. If you prefer your apocalypse invasion stories along the lines of Cloverfield and Skyline, you will not likely find what you're looking for. I personally prefer somewhere in between and fell off the story eventually, but that's a good thing. The story is unapologetic about what it wants to be, and because of that if you like what you get at your first bite you can pretty much be assured you'll enjoy your last. Note that the story and its lore does expand significantly beyond the initial shock and awe of monster invasion apocalypse in later chapters, but the overall tone and style of the shounen action anime remains the same. Whether this is good or bad will depend entirely on what you want out of the story.

So you've finally started posting this amazing project, uh? As someone who watched you working so hard on it through the past few months, I'm proud of you. Amazing story with a creative idea. I specially liked the "gacha" setting. Also, the world building is fantastic. As for characters, you've thought a lot on each one, not only in terms of appearance but also in their personalities and philosophy, and this is something we can see throughout the story as they face adversities and change/act according to their own morals and beliefs. Well, only thing I would say that I don't really is the plot armor on some characters, but I guess it is necessary in basically every story so that the plot can go on as planned, so I will not judge you so much on it lol. Stay strong, have some fun, and keep updating something that you're proud to call your own work.

I've been looking for a story that mixes mythologies with modern humanity for a while now. I'm hopeful for the future of the story, as the opening chapters pleased me.

I’ll be ur tenth review >.< So, from where should I begin? I have been reading this novel since the author started writing and I am truly glad that I never stopped this good novel and really happy for the author that he got a contract which he deserved. Why should you read? Well, why, not? I mean it has everything one would like from well-written story to unique powers each character has and the lore behind it making the story way ahead of the others that are just plain and boring. The best point of this story is that MC survive with his homies instead of soloing everything on his own which I feel is one of the unique aspects of this novel. Furthermore, the mc isn’t a plain and boring guy, but a well-crafted person and let’s not forget about his unique abilities and their aspects. Mind-blowing. This novel is highly recommended. Read it and enjoy.

Upon reading a few chaps, I must say it looks like it's pretty thought out especially the characters are unique, their also pretty detailed but at some point i just can't follow the conversation their having though it only applies to some but more or less it's great.

I would love to see even more of this! I truly appreciate the consistent updates, it's such a treat [I mostly binge eat chapters hehe]. A small suggestion though, maybe consider censoring explicit language. Of course this is just my personal preference. Another thing is to add more sensory descriptions like scents, to enhance immersion. [Really hope you take the advice].

I’ve read a few chapters and I must admit it’s a really good, detailed story. Because of how detailed it is, I can’t fly throw the chapters as quick as I could a less detailed read, but this isn’t a complaint. Sometimes it’s nice to take in the environment the authors weaves with their spectacular word usage. I like how the characters all feel three dimensional, the dorky friendship in the beginning, and how the author carefully shows they have plot. I don’t do spoilers, but I think you should give it a try if you’re into deep thought out characters, and descriptive creative writing.
