Evolution of the Great Beast King

Crack!! Simon finally finished off the sand salamander. "Well that was something, i better go get my pay for this damn thing". He was on a solo hunting mission - to kill a sand salamander. He wasn't really good at anything and the only thing that he knew how to do was hunting, so he usually did that to get money and survive.

He mostly hunted on the outskirts of the humoungous forest, which was full of deadly beasts if one was to go further.

Simon was a seventeen year old tall, buff man with nice facial features, but his cultivation was mediocre at best. his cultivation level was at rank 1, but most people achieved rank 2 or 3 at his age.

In this world there were 7 ranks - begginer rank, medium rank, high rank, elder rank, master rank, king rank and god rank.

Although every day was a strugle to Simon, he still enjoyed living.

When he was about to pick up the salamander he heard a strange noise, as if someone was moaning before death. he quickly went over to check and after walking for a bit he found a gloomy looking cave. "Well this place looks lovely", said Simon sarcasticaly." Meh, what do i got to lose", he thought and went into the cave further and further.

Soon he saw some drops of blood on the ground and after sneakily creaping for a couple of minutes he found a gigantic divine lion laying still. "No way...". Divine lions were one of the strongest animals in this world. They are born with rank 3 right of the bat and can cultivate all the way up to the god rank. But everyone thought they were extinct.

"Is it really a divine lion?" He started getting closer and closer to the beast, but was taken of guard, when suddenly the lion's body started shining and quickly condensed itself into a small dot and went into Simon's forhead. He went unconcious right away.

A couple of days later...

Simon slowly oppened his eyes and saw that everything around him was tens of times larger than before. "What the hell...", but as he looked down he saw that he had not human arms, but cute kitten paws. "Have i turned into a kitten cub?" He quickly pounced of to the nearest river and looked at his reflection. "Why... why am i just a little cat? He was about 30 cm long and 20 cm high. But after thinking about it, he understood that this was a hybrid between his human body and the divine lion.

After getting this body he knew all the things related to beasts, which made him very happy.

When you are a beast, you can't learn martial arts and magic unless the beast body already has a link with magic. For example all divine lions knew light magic from being born. Also if a beast had enough blood of another beast he could either evolve into it, or merge the two bloodlines together. He realized he was a cat and that he needed to get stronger soon to survive in this forest from hunters and from other beasts. Simon remembered the salamander he left and quickly ran to it, and ate it. Being a beast the blood and raw meat tasted deliciuos to him. After a couple of minutes a screen popped up in his head.

Status:

Humanized divine cat ( current form, begginer rank ).

Sand salamander ( enough to merge and evolve, begginer rank ).

After thinking about it, Simon chose to merge the bloodlines together, to get a tougher and bigger body, because he didn't like the thought of having a weak reptile form.

Knowing of how to merge bloodlines came to his head naturally and after a couple of days of intense cultivation he oppened his eyes.

Status:

Scaled cat ( current form, medium rank).

Simon's eyes shined brightly and he loudly said, or tried to say in his scaled cat form

"Time to go hunting!"
