Lioness

Like a sharp claw of a lioness, her sword turned in her hands. Charging at me her body and sword looked like one and started to assault me.

Her strength was very huge because I couldn't bridge the gap of strength just with Eiden's teachings. My hits were simply an itch for her. On the contrary, I suffered a lot from her attacks. My smooth and soft body was nothing compared to her years of toned and trained body.

Her years of training and experience were not something for a newbie like me to get used to in a few hours, not to mention a few seconds. I may quite understand the nature of the wind but it's had to adjust myself to her invisible speed. Her speed was enough to make her disappear from sight and appear in front of me in a fraction of a second for which I wonder if Eiden could defend against her.

My attacks on her were just like me fighting with the wind because she would dodge my attacks very easily as if they were a piece of cake for her. Irritated by her behavior I burst out my anger as the wind burst and forced everything away from me but she stood still as if my strength were like a cicada fighting a mantis when compared to her.

That doesn't mean I suck at defense. Eiden has thought me to feel the wind and exactly what I did. I tried my best to defend against her but in a few minutes, her attacks become intense and fierce to the point I could never resist but surrender myself to defeat.

Annoyed with not finding a worthy opponent, "bring me your teacher, I will teach him some manners to feed you" she mocked Lily. Enraged by the call on her, Lily dashed at her recklessly but the old man stopped her at the last moment worrying about getting her hurt.

The girl had jet black hair, unbraided but arranged closely with a hairpin not covering her ears. Thick black eyebrows, not having any specific style for her simple eyelashes moving along her emerald eyes; her small nose matched perfectly with her diamond face, and her small but pinkish lips were a perfect match for her charm. The white robes perfectly covered her slender waist and gave her a childish but pure look.

The senior woman mocked her for each of her body features but she stood motionless because she know she wasn't a match for her. "Your bewitching looks are not enough to fight but they can bring every man to your bed. After all, that's what you are useful for," the elder woman defiled her in public. How dare she? Elder women should be more mature, but the frustration of not getting chosen by the stone of wind esper let her set the whole burden on Lily's head.

Lily felt numb as she heard those words from the senior person who she adored in her childhood. Adding to it she even accused Lily of involving in lewd acts with local men and claimed that's the cause for her boost in energy. Lily clenched her fist on her thighs but didn't let out a word, she was defiled in public yet no one spoke out for her.

The old man who saw everything, "why are you saying that?" confronted the senior apprentice.

"Isn't it obvious? She was sleeping with men to cultivate their energy. Couldn't you understand that?" she yelled at the old man with no respect.

Lily knew she would lose and will be mocked but never thought of getting mocked to this extent. She was hopeless, her numb body felt as if she was beaten by hundred people simultaneously. She looked around and noticed the whole crowd around her was chattering ill of her.

"Woman, you should know your limit. You shall not defile someone just because she took your opportunity" the old man again raised her voice for Lily. He was very confident about Lily's innocence and he even raised glared at the other superiors and the crowd present there to stop the undelightful happening. The crowd stopped their moves at once they felt his rebuke.

Seeing the old man taking Lily's side, the senior woman "ha! you are even ok with old men?" she poured oil on the fire; Lily's face went pale and her complexion changed.

Even after winning against me she continued mock and tease me as she wished. Defiling me in the public but I held my anger.

"Aren't you allowing someone into your room?" she snorted and asked crushing my whole world crush under my sight. Is the person she mentioned Eiden? But how did she know about that? Is she that strong enough to sense Eiden in the dark? My heart was beating hard in my chest making me almost tremble but no matter what I should have to deny it in front of everyone. I could never let anyone find us out, I should have to protect him no matter what.

"It's... it's" my mouth stuttered.

My mouth betrayed me, my eyes loosened the blocking of the liquid in my eyes, and my body started to tremble in fear.

"Do you have proof? Without evidence, she will not be evicted." I heard a voice from behind. It came from the old man again. I don't know why but I felt that he was voluntarily helping me. With a huge struggle, I nodded my head up and down. After all, that was my best outcome for now. If our affair was exposed I don't know how to react and how will we end.

Each of the seconds I was in front of them, felt like an eternity, I wanted to run away from them but I was too scared that they would find me and Eiden. As the seconds passed by, a muscular figure with a rugged head and a black robe walked toward me. I was very shocked when he neared me because it was Eiden.

My words again stuttered, my broken words and my wet voice made him feel bad. Seeing him coming onto me the elder woman snorted and looked at him with a frown.
