Summary till now...

Author Note: Hey guys! I started writing again! Well, it's been about two months since the last chapter. I felt really bad for leaving the novel like that in a cliffhanger. Well, I have been busy with my academics. Haa... Studying is really a pain in the ass. Anyway, some of you might have even forgotten what happened in the novel till now. So, I decided to make a summary of the story till now. By the way, if you still remember the story of what happened till now, you can skip this chapter and go to the next one. I would be really surprised if someone like that existed though.

Summary:

The story begins with a baby, our MC, found in the Vatican's teleportation room which is connected to Heaven. Vasco Strada and the Pope pick him up and realize that our MC has an insane amount of holy energy. Archangel Michael appears after he got the news. Michael realizes that our MC is at least as powerful as Michael and decides to raise him in heaven so that our MC won't become out to be a mass weapon of destruction. And since Vasco has a bad naming sense, they named our MC "Michaelangelo" which is a pun. (It means "Michael's angel", but our MC isn't an angel even though Michael adopted him.)

We get a time skip of 5 years and we see that Mike is more mature than his age and he's a hacker trying to hack God's system. Mike considers Archangel Michael as his big brother and Gabriel as his big sister. Mike has free access to Gabriel's boobs and her body, leading to Azazel's distress in the future.

Mike works as Cardinal Bishop of the church while keeping his appearance as a secret to the outside world. He is seen as Vasco's grandson. Normal people think that he is ruthless towards devils, but Mike tries to achieve peace between the three factions. He's actively trying to get in touch with the leaders of other factions secretly.

The church gets a request from Zekram to deal with a forbidden love pair aka "Masaomi Yaegaki and Cleria Belial" in Kuoh. Mike finds it weird and goes to investigate the matter himself. He fakes the couple's death and gets information about King's piece from Cleria Belial. He decides to stay in Kuoh and get into contact with one of the leaders of Underworld with the information he has.

When he was strolling in Kuoh, he meets "Nozomi Hyoudou" because of plot armor. He also meets "Irina Shidou" who was playing with Nozomi at that time. You could say Mike is Nozomi's "love at first sight". So, she dragged him to her house, the Hyoudou Residence. We see that Issei is never born in this world and Nozomi is adopted and she has unique pink hair. Things happen and the Hyoudou parents take a liking to our MC and force him to stay with them as long as he stays in Kuoh. They encourage him to become a Harem King but Mike keeps refusing. During this time, Mike meets Touji Shidou and Mike becomes Irina's childhood crush and also realizes that Nozomi's love is a bit heavy.

Mike finds out that Nozomi has the boosted gear but Ddraig can't interact with the outside world because the author yeeted him out of the story. Anyway, the fact that Nozomi has the boosted gear is being hidden by "Touji Shidou". Mike makes Touji his subordinate and makes him announce that "Touji killed Masaomi and Cleria". He simply used Touji as bait. The one who took the bait is "Diehauser Belial". Mike explains the situation about King's piece and Cleria's forbidden love to Diehauser and makes him his ally to get to the underworld.

Diehauser requests Mike's help to stop the corruption of Rating Games since he doesn't want more cases like Cleria. Mike agrees because of his kindness. They decide to secure a secret base. Mike decides that it's better to use the secret facility that already existed. Mike disables the teleportation system of the underworld and takes over the facility under the "Naberius clan" that experiments on Nekoshou. Mike teleports the Nekoshou away. After that, Diehauser reveals the truth about the corruption in Rating Games to all the leaders along with the ones in possession of those pieces through a conference meeting. Diehauser demands the corruption be eradicated and all the king pieces are destroyed except one in Mike's possession. Zekram agrees to the demands and Diehauser allows himself to be captured but never reveals who was behind him.

After that, Mike arranges a meeting with the Maous the next day. We see that the fourth Maou is not Falbium but it's Euclid. Euclid Lucifuge somehow became the "Maou Euclid Asmodeus" and Grayfia works as Euclid's maid and is not married to Sirzechs. All of them agree for peace and Mike gives them the info he gathered about the corrupt businesses of Old devils which will help the Four Satans to keep them in control. Serafall takes a liking to Mike and wants to make him her little brother. She becomes more determined once she knows that Mike is Gabriel's little brother. And after that, Euclid asks if Mike knows anything about "DxD"

Mike replies that he doesn't know anything about "DxD". Euclid goes to the next question and asks why Mike trusts him. Mike reveals that he doesn't trust Euclid at all. Mike reveals that Euclid is the scheming type that makes sure the situation is not to his disadvantage and it is revealed that Euclid secretly helped Diehauser go to Kuoh to find out about what happened. Mike states that Euclid is the type of man that stays on the side that wins. Mike tells that he's powerful enough to win even without Euclid's help and warns Euclid that it would be better if he didn't irritate Mike. Euclid accepts the condition because he doesn't want to make an enemy of someone whose power level is unknown.

Mike comes back from the underworld to deal with the Nekoshou. He is surprised to find out that all the Nekoshou except Fujimai became simps for him and want to make babies with him for their clan's survival. Mike obviously rejected them. But he still decides to find a new home for them as he can't take care of them forever. Mike goes to Kyoto and meets "Yasaka" who is pregnant and her husband was recently murdered. Mike helps Yasaka punish the people who killed her husband and gains her favor. Mike stays in Kyoto until Yasaka's child is born and he gives her the name "Kunou".

Yasaka takes in Nekoshou under her care. The Nekoshou form a cult with Kuroka as the leader with the goal to get pregnant with Mike's children, leading to Mike's distress in the future. Mike finally goes back to heaven and gets embraced by pair of breasts as usual and gets back to work at the church. Vasco asks if Mike misses the Hyoudou family. Mike agrees that he loves them and misses them but he doesn't want to involve them in danger. Vasco punches Mike and tells him that it will be okay for Mike to be a bit more selfish. Vasco asks Mike to think about it once more. Mike couldn't make a decision but finally, Gabriel confesses her love and encourages him to go because she wants him to be happy. Gabriel confessed a lot of times in the past and Mike put the answer on hold but this time, Mike became sure of his feelings for her and kisses her and they became lovers officially.

Mike goes back to Hyoudou's residence and confesses everything about himself. He leaves the decision to them whether they would accept or reject him. They obviously accept him and Mike starts addressing them as Mom and Dad. He confesses that he can't respond to Nozomi's feelings and definitely won't become a Harem King since he is already in love with Gabriel.

Mike goes on a tour in Italy as a church official along with Vasco. He gets acquainted with Xenovia and becomes Asia's first friend during this time. Vasco also gets acquainted with Asia. Mike also accepts Serafall Leviathan's request to act in a movie. He cross-dresses and meets Sona Sitri during this time. After that, we get a time skip of a year. Mike goes to a shrine because he got the info that Baraqiel stays there. He finds assassins on the shrine's premises. He kills them once he found out that they are planning to kill Baraqiel's innocent wife and daughter. Mike realizes that the shrine's premises are filled with traps. He intentionally triggers a trap and found out that it's an alarm. A black-haired girl with raven wings appears from the shrine and took an attack stance. She asks where the others are and Mike confirms that he got rid of them. The girl asks if Mike is also a "reincarnated person". Mike doesn't understand her but the girl introduces herself as "Amano Yuuma" aka "Raynare".

Mike meets and convinces Baraqiel to let him meet Azazel. Raynare tries hard to get involved with Mike. Mike doesn't trust her because she's obviously hiding something. Raynare tells everything she knows about Kiba's plot that will come in the future and asks Mike to investigate it himself. Mike agrees and goes away. The next moment, Raynare falls on her knees and starts crying. It is revealed that Mike is Raynare's lover in their previous life and he is also a reincarnated person like her. But Mike doesn't have memories of his previous life and Raynare thinks it's for the best. She thinks that she doesn't deserve to be his lover again because she's the reason Mike died in his previous life. (After this chapter, I got a comment asking if there is any NTR in Mike's previous life. So, I want to confirm again that there will be no NTR, not even pseudo-NTR in my story cuz I hate that trope.)

Michael meets Azazel after a few days and Azazel asks Mike to wait for 10 years because he wants to control the situation of the fallen angels himself. Mike agrees since the devils also might take the same time and after that, Azazel asks Mike for a favor. He asks Mike to sneak into Gabriel's bath and get a photo of her naked breasts. Mike says that he can't sneak into the bath because he always bathes together with Gabriel. Mike reveals that he and Gabriel are lovers and he did all kinds of things with Gabriel's breasts and made Azazel burn with jealousy.

Azazel asks Mike to contact Raynare if he needs anything. Mike doesn't understand why Azazel trusts Raynare that much. It is revealed that Azazel already knows that Raynare in front of him isn't the old Raynare but someone else. He lets her do as she wishes to find out what she is up to. He realizes that Raynare is a lot interested in Mike. So, he helps her stay in contact with Mike so that he can get more info from either her or Mike and it's also because he finds the situation entertaining.

A few months after that, Mike stops the "Holy Sword project" using Raynare's information. Mike gets really angry at what Valper Galilei was about to do. So, he cuts off Valper's arm and lets him run away in the cold weather to give him hope to live only to follow him from behind and take away that hope. While Valper was running away, they come across Rias who was strolling in that area according to canon. Rias kills Valper once she knows about the situation.

Mike finds out that she is Sirzechs little sister. Rias finds it weird that Mike is simply leaving her even though the church states that all devils are evil. Mike says that he is a person who acts according to his own beliefs and would like it if they can be friends after they achieve peace. Rias comments that an exorcist and a devil can never be friends. Mike asks Rias to be his friend as a challenge. He says that he won't let his friend take the wrong path and he will protect his friend even if he has to turn against the church. Rias disagrees at first due to her standing as Maou's little sister but agrees after Mike shows his determination by revealing his face. Rias admires his determination and becomes his friend over similar conditions with Mike. Mike tells Sirzechs about what happened but Rias doesn't reveal anything to Sirzechs.

It is then revealed that Rias has been a lot stressed because of her father's selfishness. She doesn't like to be married to Riser but she couldn't say anything against her father. And unlike canon, she still doesn't have a single member in her peerage. So, she has to take the burden and stress all alone. Rias was convinced that some things can't be changed and the devil society and their obsession with pure-bloods is one of them. So, when she knew about Valper who tried to use innocent children for his own selfish wishes, she was once again reminded of her helplessness and killed him out of frustration. But seeing how Mike acted according to his beliefs and became her friend, Rias got inspired by him and decides to fight her fate.

Mike goes back to Raynare and says that he at least believes that Raynare knows some events from a possible future. Mike asks Raynare about her previous life. Raynare gives him partial truth about how she's an assassin in her previous life and how she got her organization destroyed due to failure on her part and that she also died due to her failure. It is then revealed that the 'failure' she mentioned is "falling in love with Kei-kun (Mike's name in his previous life)" and she intentionally helped her enemies destroy her organization to keep him safe.

Raynare reveals that "DxD" comes from the name of the novel. She states that Euclid is not acting according to his role and states that he is also a reincarnated person. Mike asks about the immediate next event where people would get hurt. Raynare goes through her memory and realizes that the Holy Sword Project happened faster than it should. Raynare tells that the next event might be Asia getting excommunicated. Right at that moment, Mike gets a call from Vasco stating that Asia was excommunicated.

Raynare tells Mike the truth about Asia's event and Mike calls Ajuka Beelzebub stating that he's gonna kill Diodora Astaroth with an official reason that Diodora killed an exorcist in the church's premises and asks Ajuka to take care of the aftermath. He meets with Vasco and searches for Asia with him. Asia is captured by fallen angels for her sacred gear but Diodora kills those fallen angels acting like he came to save her. He asks Asia to become his bishop but Asia refuses and sticks to her beliefs. Before Diodora could further force her, Mike comes to that place.

Mike makes Diodora confess about what he did with the five girls in his current peerage and kills him after that. The five girls kill themselves after knowing the truth. Asia couldn't heal them in time and Mike was focused on Diodora at that time. Mike asks Raynare about the names of these five girls so that he can give them a proper burial and Raynare states that they are just cannon fodder and don't have a name. Mike states that authors can sometimes be too cruel to the characters they create. The authors make the characters suffer a lot and they don't even bother giving them names. (People are supposed to enjoy fiction because it isn't real. But what if it turned out to be real? Should people still enjoy it while the characters are suffering? The story is still the same after all.)

After a few days, Mike tells his brother and sister that he is going to do something that will affect the faith in the church a lot. Gabriel encourages him to do it because Mike already promised her that even if he stayed away for a while, Mike will always return to Gabriel.

Mike gathers all the high officials of the church in a meeting and states that he doesn't want a case like Asia to happen again. He asks for Asia to regain her position and also the rules about excommunicating someone to be changed. Most of them don't agree with Mike and Mike states that he is quitting the church and disappears after announcing it to the public. The officials try to convince Vasco to bring back Mike but Vasco also quits the church.

The church never publicly stated the real reason for Mike quitting. The rumors spread that Asia is the reason for Mike quitting the church and Asia is currently in Vasco's care. Mike hacks into the communication system of all church facilities and confesses about his beliefs and examples where he felt the church's teachings are wrong. The church was in chaos and it almost led to a rebellion but Vasco took back his position as the Cardinal-Priest stating that Mike wouldn't want them to fight each other and encourages everyone to fight together with their own beliefs.

Mike's confession also led to a conference meeting between the leaders of three factions. Michael gives some of the territories that are taken over by the church back to the devils. Kuoh is one of them. Mike acted from behind the scenes because he doesn't want the church to get involved with the town he will live in. The leaders ask Michael about his little brother. Michael confessed that Mike was a normal baby until he unknowingly ate the Forbidden fruit of Wisdom. But instead of giving knowledge of shame and evil as it did to Adam and Eve in the Bible, Mike simply became smarter than his age. Michael also confesses that Mike can hack God's system to some extent. Azazel deduces that Mike is somehow related to God or a being higher than God.

After this incident, Mike relaxes for a few days in Kyoto. After that, he confronts Raynare asking her to tell him everything about DxD so that he can prevent people from getting hurt. Raynare asks him to make a list of people close to him and Raynare will tell if there's an important plot point with them. She states that she doesn't want to tell the whole story. It is revealed that Raynare doesn't want to tell him the whole story because Mike will definitely try to help strangers who are about to suffer. Raynare doesn't want Mike to do something more than he can handle because that could lead to him losing what's important to him. Mike states that she is showing a lot more concern for him than usual and stopped acting for a while. Mike finally asks her "What am I to you in your previous world?"
