The Duke of Voscal, Jaesyvn Arezphine Voscal, the only blood sister to the current King, was a cold-blooded genius of war. Since the age of three, Jaesyvn had paved a perilous pathway for herself, dominating every and any challenge that dared to defy her. Age eight, she had mastered her magical infinity and was quickly recruited by her uncle to join the army. And by age fourteen, she had returned victorious from the Great War with only a few hundred others. Blessed with the status of an Archmage by the former King, her unparalleled prowess continued to manifest.
And at age sixteen as the Nine Kingdoms youngest most powerful and revered mage, she was rightfully bestowed the title as the king of the Northern Continent, Azurath. But, without needing such responsibility or care for more titles, she simply gave it to her elder brother Cassius Marlyn Voscal who later, much to everyone's surprise, became a righteous ruler of Azurath.
Jaesyvn was anything but just. Stained with the aftermath of war, corruption and power, Jaesyvn had been driven to complete insanity. Dr*gs and s*x became her addictions. Her downward spiral from honour and glory turned her into a bloodthirsty tyrant. Rumours of the once-great victor of the war, nicknamed “God of Death”, constantly flowed throughout the nations until, abruptly, all news of her disappeared.

At least that was what Neia read about Jaesyvn Arezphine Voscal in the novel - Bound to the Broken Crown. A novel set in a fantasy world that shouldn't exist.
Who would have ever thought that a person like Neia, originally a weak weirdo, would become Jaesyvn?
And more importantly, the novel's vile villain became her son?! It didn't mention that in the book!!
