Douluo Dalu: A Journey

Looking at the blurry figure in front of me, I was confused.

I remembered getting hit by a truck and losing consciousness but I was not sure of my condition right now.

Even then, I knew I had reincarnated. I could feel my small body. This made me worried. As a child, I was defenceless.

I was a person who used to read many fanfictions and immediately knew what this meant.

I had a cheat!

This made me excited and got me thinking. If I was in the Douluo Dalu world, what timeline was it? The first? Second? Third? or, fourth?

I felt my body brimming with energy and my eyesight gradually improving.

In my eyes stood a tall handsome man with blue eyes and blue hair. I was able to conclude immediately that he was none other than Tang San.

" My sons...I hope you forgive your father. I didn't have a choice..."

This made me excited for a second. I reincarnated as the son of Tang San! But the excitement was soon replaced with worry.

If I heard correctly, he said 'sons' which means I am not the only kid here.

The other kid was probably Tang Wulin.

" Forgive me...Tang Xiao...Tang Wulin..."

Tang San said Tang Xiao when he looked at me which confirmed that I was the kid that wasn't supposed to exist and that Tang Wulin was the other kid.

" Father in law...I have opened a portal to the Douluo Continent. We need to hurry!"

I heard a voice shouting.

That must be Huo Yuhao. He was the one who sent Tang Wulin to the Douluo Continent in the original story.

Tang San nodded and looked at me one last time and said " Tang Xiao...your brother has been cursed with an evil dragon. Make sure to protect him well!"

Tang San's serene face changed as his hair turned white while his eyes turned bloody red.

" This will protect you."

I felt something enter my mind. I didn't know what it was but it must be something like what Tang Wulin had which protected him when he was in danger.

But in my case, it seems I was blessed with the power of the Asura God.

Suddenly I felt lips touch my cheek. I turned my head to look at a woman with a rabbit headband and pink eyes.

It was Xiao Wu. Her face was pale, she seemed to be very tired for some reason. I wondered if something had happened to her. If I remembered correctly she was gravely injured after absorbing a huge amount of evil energy from the Golden Dragon King.

Seeing her tired face, I felt bad for her.

' Parents...they sacrifice so much...'

I smiled at her wanting to give her some good memories.

She looked at my smiling face and replied with a gentle smile. Tears welled from her eyes, she wiped them and caressed my face gently.

' What a lovely person.' I couldn't help but think. Even though she was not my biological mother, I couldn't help but worry for her.

(3rd Pov)

Xiao Wu raised her head to look at Tang San and nodded. Tang San took a deep breath in and kissed Tang Xiao and Tang Wulin and sent them through the portal.

Xiao Wu tugged Tang San's shirt and put her hands on his chest. Tang San hugged Xiao Wu and whispered " Your dad will come for you, my sons...I will come to find you!"

The rest of the Gods looked at separation with a heavy heart. Nobody let a word out.

At an unknown location, it was snowing. The surrounding was covered with snow and there was nothing else in sight.

Two figures, one tall and one short stood in front of a basket, inside were two kids. One had black hair and black eyes and the other kid had dark blue hair and blue eyes.

The name of the two figures was Tang Ziran and Lang Yue.

Tang Ziran lifted the basket and looked in it to see the kids sleeping peacefully. He cleaned the basket from the snow that was stuck underneath it.

He touched the kids to find that they were still alive. Lang Yue looked at the two sleeping kids and said " These kids... look like they were abandoned!"

Tang Ziran blinked and said after some time, sadly " It seems so. What should we do?"

Lang Yue rubbed her palms together and said " Let's go to the police and see if they could find the parents...it could be that they were not abandoned."

Tang Ziran nodded and said, " Let's do that then!"

Tang Ziran pulled the basket closer to him and turned around with Lang Yue. Suddenly, he stopped and his bright eyes lost colour all of a sudden.

The same thing happened to Lang Yue as well. After a few seconds, their eyes regained colour.

" I see..." Tang Ziran muttered. He had just been contacted by the divine consciousness of Tang San.

Lang Yue took a deep breath in and said " We don't need to go to the police anymore. I have been wanting a kid either way...so..."

Tang Ziran chuckled and said, " We will adopt them but remember we cannot tell them of their origin...he said that they will know by themselves when the time comes."

Lang Yue nodded and said, "Let's go...they must be hungry!"

( Tang Xiao Pov)

I opened my eyes to look that I was in some kind of room. It seemed that I had been taken in by someone. I just hope that it isn't some paedophile.

For some reason, I fell asleep after I was sent through the portal. I turned my head to see two people sitting on a couch not far away.

' Was I taken in by them?' I wondered.

I turned my head back and stared at the ceiling.

' I wonder what I will be doing in this world. As far as I remember I had some kind of cheat...'

Just as I thought about the cheat a voice sounded in my head.

Inventory }

' Inventory? What can that do?'

" Yeiyhh!" Unconsciously I let out a cheer.

' Oops!' I hurriedly closed my eyes and pretended to sleep.

Lang Yue came up to see that Tang Xiao sleeping soundly.

" Weird... I think I heard something!"

She turned around to leave, just as she did her eyes fell on Tang Wulin, who was also sleeping, just beside Tang Xiao.

" So cute!"

Lang Yue couldn't help but squeeze the meaty cheeks of Tang Wulin.
