Currently A1 would definitely be in danger if he were to enter the battlefield, after all he would be against people with powerful Combat skills and even people who are High Rank 1 Warriors.

But Samuel has little choice right now, he needs more Spiritual Stones, and now that there is a guaranteed heir in play he can at least let A1 explore the Eternal battlefield.

There are other ways to gain things from the eternal battlefield, scavenging, finding ruins, and various other supernatural events.

Worst case scenario Samuel has to wait until the new heir is born and grows up or find another way to get a spiritual crystal.

But in order to develop it's a risk that he has to take.

''A1 says goodbye to Betty and immediately enters the Eternal Battlefield. Remember your intention isn't to fight and kill, if you get one spiritual crystal get out and deliver it to me.''

Soon A1 was gone, but less than 15 minutes later Samuel received another surprising notification.

[Detected that the hosts first Dog of War has entered the Eternal Battlefield, Activating the Crusade Subsystem.]

[Crusade activated]

''Subsystem?? There's more to the system? What does this new subsystem do?''

Soon Samuel knew what it did, its function was to track the movement of the Dogs of War in the Eternal Battlefield, and it can allow Samuel to see what is happening, it shows their status and the rewards that they have collected.

It also allows him to issue emergency commands such as come back or run away.

''System Show me A1s eyesight'' As Samuel's words fell he felt his eyes twitch as his sight twisted before slowly turning into a darkened wasteland.

Naturally this is the Eternal Battlefield. You could constantly see plumes of smoke, dust and even tornados spreading across the land.

Bones and dead bodies were scattered occasionally and cries of battle resounded in every corner.

Of course the battles aren't actually that close, the Eternal Battlefield is huge and humans have yet to know if there is an end. The likelihood of being placed near someone else on your first time going is minute.

And naturally A1 wasn't some unlucky protagonist who gets chased the entire time. Instead he began to sprint away from the nearest fight at the fastest speed.

Over half an hour later he finally reached a relatively quiet clearing and sat beneath a burnt tree.

It's important to mention that not everywhere in the eternal battlefield is ruined, people have found there are various different areas with different specialties or nothing at all.

There's even rumours of families who have spiritual crystal mines in richer areas or farms for beasts.

Just as A1 was sitting comfortably restoring his spiritual energy, he smelt a refreshing fragrance float up to his nose.

''A spiritual fruit.'' Samuel said immediately. His extensive book knowledge is finally coming into play.

Spiritual Fruits are valuable resources for warriors. They contain a lot of energy and some can provide body refining effects.

Each spiritual fruit can sell for a minimum of 3 spiritual crystals!

Now I think its appropriate to really display the value of Spiritual Crystals. The currency ordinary people use in the world is a world spread Credits. 10 Credits are enough for a family of 4 to live for a year.

Samuels family earns an average of 100,000 Credits a year from his fathers company which is already classed as a wealthy family equal to someone with a networth of hundreds of millions.

A single spiritual crystal can easily sell for a million credits and even then there is no market.

It is common for poor warriors to sell crystals for 1.5million credits or even more.

Take Betty for example, her current wage for working for A1 is only 5 credits a month naturally being paid by Samuel.

However as soon as A1 earns some spiritual crystals and Samuel has enough money to pay him, Betty as the first mother will naturally be treated better.

But right now Samuels financial status really couldn't afford it. He only received 100 credits a month and he needed money for future plans.

Of course Samuel won't be stupid enough to sell the first set of crystals he gets, he needs more Dogs of War to be fighting in the Eternal Battlefield.

As he was thinking, A1 had already headed towards the location of the smell. Unsurprisingly hanging off of a small plant in a set of bushes, was a small grapefruit looking fruit.

Samuel also recognised it, a Screaming Fruit. Anyone who eats it will see an increase in their physical strength, quite a substantial one, but the downside is the incredibly high amount of pain.

Therefore it got its name the screaming fruit.

Just as A1 was about to go and harvest it, there was a slight rustling in the bushes and a tiny rat popped its head out.

But suddenly it's previously harmless body began to swell in size, doubling, tripling, quadrupling before finally stopping at almost one and a half metres tall and two metres long.

Next came the intense spiritual pressure, but surprisingly it was the same as A1s. Obviously this rodent was the same level as A1.

Within the Eternal Continent there are not only other races coming into invade, there are many races who were born and raised here. Some super powerful ones will even take the initiative to invade other people's planets.

Of course that is irrelevant right now.

Currently A1 was facing off against the giant rat holding a steel longsword in his hand. This was Samuel prepared for him before he went to the Battlefield.

The blade has no special abilities but it is durable and costs 5 credits.

And naturally it is very sharp.

A1 had very little combat experience, all he had was a month's worth of practising and his Warrior strength.

Luckily the rat isn't a master either.

A1 immediately got in a rough fight, cutting and stabbing, dodging and diving avoiding the ferocious teeth of the beast.

Surprisingly A1 displayed high talent for fighting, slowly he was dodging more smoothly, deflecting the teeth of his blade and cutting the rough fur of the rat.

''Strange? Why is he learning so quickly?'' Even Samuel was confused, even warriors don't have such a quick development speed.
