Dimensional Overhaul

What was the gods' best creation? Was it man? Could it be the stars that we all gaze upon? Planets that hold life? Or probably the various dimensions that hold all? The answer is simple, the universe! The same universe that comprises all these wonderful creations. The food we eat, the people we look up to, and the mountains which stretch beyond the clouds are all part of one universe. And among the variety of races, one stood among them all. A race yielding the strongest type of magic, black magic. They were the Genois race. The fact that they were the strongest clouded their minds, why not unify the universe? They thought. During their rein, they forcibly made other races kneel before them and those who resisted were killed. Upon a mountain of bloodshed, a single man rose to the task of defeating the Genois race. Some called him a 'reaper', others 'a savior' while others squandered his name calling him a murderer. The single man possessed a special type of visual prowess known as Tsujigens. The five Tsujigens: Tsujigen of force, Tsujigen of space, Tsujigen of time, Tsujigen of power, and the Tsujigen illusion made him an unstoppable force. With this power, he wiped out the Genois race leaving none. Blessing other races with freedom. He was hailed as a god! Mysterious as a ghost! Yet still a lone man. Alas, not even his mortal body could handle his power causing him to erode. Before his death, he shared his Tsujigens for the next generation in hopes of his resurrection. In the present, a boy awoke in an unfamiliar world, with no memories of the past, and is left with a symbolic tattoo on his arm which possesses odd powers. In a universe where magic is the norm, Kevin travels to different worlds, unique in their way, to reclaim his lost memories.

The fourth conduit

The lightning dragon completely devoured Norm, dragging her to the wall before a large sound was created in the castle, possibly echoing through the whole vicinity. In exhaustion, Kevin took deep breaths as he deactivated his magic.

"...," Lilith was dumbfounded. Although it was not as powerful as her deviant element, it was still quite strong. What suprised her the was that this power was coming from someone who learnt to properly use magic a week ago.

"What was that?" she said in shock,"was that your new move?".

"Yeah, I....," Kevin said as he momentarily stopped to catch his breath, ".....formulated it after Klein told me about mythical dragons,".

"Dragons?"

After hearing his answer, Lilith sat on the icy ground which was sligh tly melting due to Kevin's attack. She planned to catch their breath before descending the mountain. The news she would bring would put a smile on all their faces.

Cough! Cough! In suprise, the duo turned their heads towards the area Norm was dragged to.

"Never, Never, Never...," Norm shouted with what little energy she had.

As the snow gradually cleared up, they could now catch a glimpse of Norm's state. She was lying in a pool of blood, with her almost flawless skin burned beyond recognition and her leg as well as her arm had been torn off.At this point, she was wearing rags which barely covered her remaining body while flesh and bones could be seen seeping from her body. To say she was in a pitiful state would be an understatement. It was even surprising how she was still alive.

"Even after losing them...I finally found a family. Was what I wanted so bad? Why must everything be snatched away from me?" Norm whispered as she dug her remaining arm into her pocket, retrieving a syringe containing a black liquid.

" What is that?" Kevin inquired, expecting a detailed answer.

".... you know there are somethings I do not know," Lilith responded, confessing her depth of knowledge.

'Let's see if even the the gods have abandoned me,' Norm thought as tears streamed down her burned skin. Full of resolve, she injected herself with the syringe and immediately fell unconscious.

"Lilith, what happened?"

"Why don't you ask her?" Lilith replied while pointing at Norm's body.

'Did she commit suicide?' Lilith thought before walking to the exit. If Norm died, it only helps her cause more.

Ba dum!Ba dum!

"Hey Lilith, whe-" Kevin's heart sank as he turned around to look at Lilith, only to see Norm between them.

Slap! Raising her arm, she slapped Kevin hard enough to send him flying.

"Wha-" Before Lilith could grasp what had occured, a fist dove into her abdomen causing her to fall to her knees.

After taking the syringe, Norm's arm and leg began to regenerate as a black liquid covered her injuries. It was not only her missing limbs but her skin also gradually began to return to it's original color . Like a miracle drug, all her wounds and flesh revealing areas amended themselves.

"Tsk!" Norm glared at her now regenerating arm. Almost as if being put into a new body, she opened and closed her palm, " I.... feel knew".

Creepy giggles escaped from her mouth as her gaze searched for Kevin, being the receiver of his attack, she was more inclined to deal with him first. Norm slammed her palm on the ground and with that, several ice structures similar to hands headed towards him. They were rooted to the ground, elongating themselves to reach Kevin, very similar to a horror dream a child would have.

[Asura: Katana]

"Tsk!" Whipping mana upon his blade, lightning surrounded the end as Kevin sliced through each structure without pause.

[Lightning magic: Tiger form]

Releasing his speed would not suffice, Kevin ramped up his power, pouring all his remaining magic power into his tiger form. Eventually his arms began to ache as he continued to strike what seemed to be an unending barrage of attacks.

"Remember how you stabbed me?" Norm whispered within an earshot of Kevin, while holding an icicle. Fortunately enough, Kevin reflected it using his lightning covered Asura but could not avoid the punch that struck his face. Like a can of coke, he helplessly slid on the floor as blood oozed from his nose.

Swoosh! Within touching range, Lilith shot an arrow at close range, aiming for Norm's head. To her suprise, Norm slightly bent back completely avoiding it.

'What? Her reflexes are incredible,' dumbfounded by her reflexes, Lilith received a kick to the head, making her drop to the ground.

"Hahaha!" Norm began to laugh aloud at their dismay.

Tap! While Norm's gaze was on Lilith, and felt a gentle hand grab her shoulder. In an instant, she could feel black lines crawling up her body, attempting to drain every ounce of energy from her.

Norm's instincts instantly told her to move away and that she did. However, as she moved back, a look of confusion was plastered on her face.

"What was that?" Norm questioned, heavily under the assumption that it might have been a deviant element. But why did he not use it before?

"Kevin, how?" Lilith whispered as she looked at Kevin who has now regained some mana. She was also at a loss for how he could still use magic, did he not use everything?

[Lightning magic: Tiger form]

Lightning formed around Kevin's legs as he ran to Norm who also replicated the same attack.

"Aaaa...."They both shouted before meeting in the middle.

[Gravity x50]

Suddenly a heavy force dragged them both down to the ground, leaving them to grunt in pain.

"Well, well, looks like our fourth conduit is doing well," a mysteries voice echoed through their ears.

"What," Kevin muttered while grunting in pain.

Norm craned her neck to look at the source of the pressure, only to see a man in black who wore an eye patch and his hair had signs of over used gel. Her eyes sunk with faint traces of tears dropping from the sight of the man.

"I-It's you!"
