Down the memory lane - XII

Rhys stepped closer to Slyvia, taking her hand in his. "Come, my dear bride. I've organized a magnificent wedding banquet just for you," he said with a smile. "Even more extravagant than that devil's."

Slyvia shot him a fierce look and raised her hand, ready to strike. In an instant, a flash of green light shot toward Rhys. He sighed, deflected her spell effortlessly, and reappeared right behind her. Before she could defend herself, he launched an attack, and Slyvia collapsed, unconscious.

As her body fell, Rhys caught her gently in his arms, gazing at her with a tender expression. "I'm sorry, Slyvia. I didn't mean to hurt you, but what made you so rebellious?"

With a wave of his hand, he opened a portal in the middle of the room. I watched in astonishment as a woman emerged from the portal, looking exactly like Slyvia. She approached Rhys and bowed. He chuckled softly, pointing toward the bed. "Go sit over there and wait for your groom to arrive."
