Peter is the best fighter in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. He unifies all the gangs in the area and disbands them, driven by his desire to become a hero. One day, Peter is confronted by a man named Kuroda Yuchiro, who wants to recruit him. However, Peter declines the offer. Enraged, Yuchiro brutally beats Peter, nearly killing him, and takes over Gangnam, reopening all the disbanded gangs. As Peter lies on the brink of death, a mysterious system appears before him, offering him a chance at revenge and the opportunity to become the hero he has always aspired to be.
Chapter 1
Peter found himself surrounded by a local gang of twenty men who called themselves the Titans. Their leader, Jang, approached him with a smirk. "You're the one who's been beating up every gang in Gangnam. You look like you're still in high school."
Peter met his gaze, unfazed. "Yes, and I'll defeat you guys, too. Because I am a hero." He let out a mocking laugh.
Jang's men rushed at Peter, but within a minute, he had single-handedly manhandled all twenty of them. Jang charged in, throwing a jab that Peter dodged effortlessly. Peter retaliated with a roundhouse kick and a spinning elbow, smashing Jang's face to the ground.
Jang quickly recovered and caught Peter off guard with a knee strike to the belly. Peter caught the knee and countered with a low kick followed by a judo throw, ultimately defeating Jang.
At that moment, a man in a black suit and sunglasses stepped out of a car. "I am Kuroda Yuchiro, the Young Master of the Yamazaki Clan," he announced. "Since you've unified Gangnam, I'm here to offer you a chance to join me. We want to take control over Korea once again."
Peter calmly declined the offer. Yuchiro's expression hardened. "You've made a mistake. Now, I have to defeat you to become the head of Gangnam."
Yuchiro launched a lightning-fast jab, which Peter deflected with his hand. To his shock, the impact shattered his bones. Peter attempted a roundhouse kick, but Yuchiro caught his leg and slammed him to the ground, raining down blows relentlessly.
Yuchiro stopped, glaring at the battered Peter. "You should have accepted my offer."
With those words, Yuchiro left. Peter lay devastated, unable to move, his body covered in blood. He had dreamed of becoming a hero, protecting everyone, but now he had lost. Suddenly, a system window appeared before his eyes.
"Do you want to be a hero?" it asked.
With the last ounce of his strength, Peter clicked 'Yes.'
The system responded, "Then let's begin our journey."
