Chapter 72 – Jia Li

While thinking Fang Yuan continued to grind the mudball in his hands.

His movements were very slow and very meticulous. Often, there was only a hint of dry soil powder falling off after a moment or so. Following his movement, a hibernating Gu worm gradually appeared in front of everyone's eyes.

'What the heck is happening shouldn't Jia Jin Sheng try to forcefully snatch this gu from me and only after that would he buy it using five hundred primeval stones when he realizes that such methods won't work as he is in the Gu Yue Village?'

"Sure. But before that, I would like to meet with your master first." Fang Yuan said as only after meeting with Jia Jin Sheng could he discuss his business plan with him.

The female Gu Master turned to ask the Gu Master who had delivered the message if that was fine.

After seeing the Gu Master nodding their head, the female Gu Master turned and said to Fang Yuan, "Young Master please follow me. I will take you to see our master now." Saying so the female Gu Master started walking towards the back of the tent.

Fang Yuan followed behind her while he told the girls to wait for him outside. He gave Mo Meili the remaining two rocks and told her not to open them.

Following the female Gu Master Fang Yuan arrived in front of a large-sized tent.

"Master, the customer wanted to meet with you before selling the Mudskin Toad Gu as such I have brought them here." The female Gu Master announced standing in front of the entrance of the tent.

"Hmm? Okay, please invite them in." Fang Yuan raised his eyebrow when he heard a sweet melodious voice reply to the female Gu Master.

"Young Master, please come in." Saying so the female Gu Master escorted Fang Yuan inside.

After entering Fang Yuan looked around and found a beautiful woman sitting behind a desk and writing something. Fang Yuan took a glance at the woman before resuming to look around, he wanted to meet with Jia Jin Sheng.

"Hello, Hero Fang Yuan, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Jia Li, the fourth daughter of the Jia Clan leader. This time we have come to the Gu Yue village under the leadership of my second brother Jia Gui who is a Rank four Gu Master." Saying so the beautiful woman stood up and came around to stand in front of Fang Yuan and extended her hand for a handshake.

When Fang Yuan heard what she said he swirled his head and looked at her. A hundred thoughts running across his mind right now.

'What? Fourth daughter of the Jia Clan leader? Where did this women come from out of nowhere? What happened to Jia Jin Sheng? And also just now she said that the cavern was headed by Jia Gui, wasn't it supposed to be headed by Jia Fu? What the heck is happening here?'

But on the outward, he didn't show anything. He calmly extended his hand and grabbed Jia Li's outstretched hand and lightly shook it.

"Hello Lady Jia, it's a pleasure to meet you. I am Gu Yue Fang Yuan." Fang Yuan said, taking his hand back. He was not surprised that this Lady Jia Li already knew his name.

Jia Li carefully observed Fang Yuan from top to bottom, she was curious and wanted to know more about Fang Yuan, as she had heard his name quite a few times since she came to the Gu Yue village.

As Jia Li observed Fang Yuan, he was also observing Jia Li.

Jia Li looked to be between twenty to twenty-five years old. She had a round face, wavy brown hair and brown eyes, a small cute nose, and pink lips. She wore a black dress with golden borders which perfectly complimented her snow-white skin. The silky dress could not hide her perfect curves and on her slim waist was a belt with a square steel plate, engraved with a "2".

"Why did hero Fang Yuan want to meet me?" Jia Li asked.

"Lady Jia, besides rock gambling you are also in the business of buying and selling Gu worms right?" Fang Yuan asked.

"Hmm? Yes, but it's not limited to that, I deal in anything and everything Gu related, buying and selling of Gu worms, Gu food, rock gambling, etc." Jia Li said as she guided Fang Yuan to the tent's seating area.

"That's good then. Lady Jia the reason I wanted to meet you is that I would like to do business with you." Fang Yuan asked as he sat down.

"Oh? What type of business would that be Hero Fang Yuan?" Jia Li asked as she sat in front of Fang Yuan.

"I have refined a few new types of Gu and would like Lady Jia to look at them and let me know if they have any market value or not." Fang Yuan asked.
