Broken Promise 2

Anthony and his troops attacked blindly, he killed anyone who tried to use his magic and fought back.

"Why are you doing this, prince? After we lost the great witch, we already have nothing but sorrow."

Anthony didn't answer, he turned his face when he saw the boy who had delivered Airin's letter crying with a body covered in wounds.

"From now the witch kingdom will become the territory of Etona's kingdom and whoever dares to use magic against, I will kill them."

It rained as if when he first met Airin as if to remind him that he had broken his promise but Anthony's heart had darkened, covered by a fog of hatred and vengeance.

Anthony continues to walk through a wet path mixed with the blood of fallen witches.

"Live like you never existed."

There's a feeling of anger that overwhelms Anthony, he starts blaming everything related to Airin. The killer was not the only one who had done something wrong to Airin but her people had also made Airin live under pressure so she refused his invitation to marry her and eventually they separated that night, the night he should have insisted on taking Airin with him then Airin would never be killed.

"Airin lives alone, she is depressed and suffering because of all of you."

"She became like that because she had made a big mistake by falling in love with you!"

Anthony stopped his pace when a woman screamed in frustration while crying. "She has committed a great sin for having a relationship with a cruel vampire nation like you!"

"What did you say?" Anthony lifts the woman's chin with the tip of her sword.

"A great sin?" Anthony laughs but he presses his sword and makes the tip of his sword hurt the woman's neck.

"Airin's greatest mistake was to have a useless people like you, who laid a burden on her shamelessly just because she was born with pure power and now I will avenge you all. I'm sure you won't be able to live quietly from this moment on."

Anthony's speech was immediately exposed to the fall of the woman's body because he had thrust his sword through the woman's throat.

The witches' death was the beginning of the darkness of Anthony's heart.

He began to destroy anything that prevented him from becoming King. His ambition to find Airin's killer makes him consumed by his grudge.

And in keeping with his promise, Arthur finally made Anthony crown prince of the Etona kingdom.

Alexander cannot accept the title that should have been his now officially Anthony's.

Alexander was so angry, he destroyed his entire room. Agnez's arrival immediately aroused Alexander's anger so he immediately strangled Agnez as soon as she entered his room.

"Am I a joke to you? I've given up half my life to you but why are you coming now? Anthony is crown prince now!"

Agnez can feel his body weakened, Alexander strangles her so strongly that she cannot speak but Agnez remains calm.

"You know, if Anthony hadn't become crown prince now then I wouldn't have been able to bring the oldest witch to come with me."

"What do you mean?"

"How do I talk if you strangle me like this?"

Alexander still stares at Agnez with a sharp stare as he releases Agnez's neck. Now Agnez can breathe a sigh of relief even though her neck feels like she's going to break.

"The witch refused when I asked her to come with me to the palace but then Anthony came and he destroyed everything in the wizarding kingdom and after that, she wanted to come with me and would bring Airin back to this world."

Anthony was very surprised because it turns out that Agnez was not sure she can take the witch with her but she can already make him give her half of his life, but Alexander can't immediately angry with Agnez because of the last sentence that Agnez said made him lose words.

"Bring Airin back to this world? That's not possible!"

Agnez smiles confidently, he then pushes Alexander's body and steps past him then sits casually on Alexander's bed.

Alexander stepped up to Agnez, standing before a woman whom Alexander could not understand. "I can bring Airin back into this universe then I can also obliterate you from this universe."

Agnez slowly wakes up. "It's my last warning so don't try to betray me again."

Alexander's body froze, he felt Agnez begin to control himself, and that Alexander couldn't understand how she could have known if he had slept with Eliza while she was away.

Agnez then takes Alexander to the dungeon where she secretly hides the oldest female witch she brought.

"She is Widuna, she is the strongest witch in the witch kingdom."

Widuna laughs at hearing Agnez praise her, "I'm not the strongest but I'm the oldest. Airin remains the strongest among us because she is the goddess of the moon."

Alexander remains silent because he was confused because Widuna doesn't look old at all, she just looks a little more mature than him, her opposite gray hair makes her look charming.

"Why do you see me like that? Are you interested in me?"

Alexander was certainly very surprised to hear the Widuna question. Instead of being fascinated, he was confused because Agnez called her the oldest witch.

"I'm just confused by your youthful appearance."

Widuna laughed but suddenly stopped. "What will you give in return if I help you?"

"The freedom of the Witches' kingdom."
