"Foxy!" Echo was stunned.

"Wake up!"

"What's wrong with you? You just passed out of nowhere you damn fox."

- Pa!

"AHHH! Bastard!" the fox yelled in pain as he glared at Echo.

"So your alive, I guess when you saw your reflection you passed out from shock. I'm not a vet but your vitals are stable and so is your physical condition. Now I figured your a human turned fox by the way your acting and by you speaking human language." Echo said with a serious face

'Smart kid...' the fox was dumbfounded by Echo's deduction.

"No need to be worried..." the fox sighed as he stood up.

'Strange kid too...'

The fox stared at his reflection for a few minutes as he contemplated his appearance.

"Uuuu~ I look dashing like always." the fox stared at his reflection admiring his looks.

"Narcissistic too... anyway Mr ...?" Echo mumbled the first part.

"Nyx. Call me Nyx." Nyx replied agitated by getting called a fox.

"So you didn't answer my deduction."

"Sigh... yes I am human. I look like this but I'm human like you."

"So you transformed."

"Yeah, but it's only temporarily..."

"I didn't know that was possible... but figuring out everything I know already it's not surprising..." Echo said but he thought that last part in his head.

"At first it was only in my head as a theory but it's very possible apparently," Nyx said as he laid back on the ground.

"So I guess you were running away from someone right?" Echo asked.

"..." Nyx stayed quiet.

"Okay fine if you don't want to tell me that's fine, but you should eat something to help your recovery." Echo said as he was tired of hearing Nyx's rumbling stomach.

"You want me to eat raw meat even though I'm a human? Are you crazy?"

"No. I want you to eat raw meat as a fox, you aren't in human form right now, but if you insist on being a baby I'll cook the meat." Echo said as he was about to grab the bowl of meat but was stopped.

"Leave it. I'll eat it." Nyx finally complied as he knew Echo was right.

"Okay, I'm going to the yard to feed the rest of the dogs, they must be hungry too." Echo said as he closed the door.

Nyx was in his own thoughts as he stared at the piece of meat.

'I'm pretty hungry... I'm sure the fox from before hasn't eaten in a while. Ugh, I can't believe I'm doing this." Nyx said as he started sniffing me the meat.

"!"

- Chomp!

- Chomp!

- Chomp!

Once Nyx smelled the meat it's like his instincts kicked in as he started devouring the meat like it was the best meal ever.

After a few seconds, the entire piece of meat was gone and Nyx was on the ground laying in satisfaction.

"Sssss~ Damn my body is still injured, I don't have much strength left. If I'm discovered in this state then I'm as good as dead. I need to stay hidden while I gain back my strength.' Nyx exclaimed as he felt a sharp pain inside his body.

"Nyx, I'll be back in a few I gotta head out real quick." Echo entered the room in a new outfit.

Echo stood at 189 cm (6'2 ft); has a pale jade-like complexion and medium-length pure black hair which he has styled in a Korean mullet and a small braid behind his ear. He has strikingly-piercing pure black slit eyes; with long top and bottom eyelashes. He has a tall slim and muscular build and his face is extremely gorgeous, along with black frameless glasses that perfectly fit and enhance' his looks.

His appearance was the sole reason he was the main attraction of girls no matter where he went and the enemy of every man.

"Where are you going?" Nyx asked as he lay on the bed.

"The Animal Hospital. I don't have any dog food apparently as I ran out of it today, I only have treats, and it's not good for dogs to eat only treats." Echo replied.

"Now? It's late."

"You want to come with me?" Echo asked lazily.

'Besides when it comes to night time im a force to be reckoned with...' Echo thought as he stared at Nyx.

"Why would I want to come with you?" Nyx asked as he eyed Echo.

"Just come besides, If I was in a new area that I was unfamiliar with I wouldn't mind scouting it." Echo gave a smart and realistic reply with no flaw.

"..."

'I hate this kid...' Nyx sighed.

"Fine, I'll come with you besides I can't trust you alone," Nyx said as he avoided eye contact.

"I'm not carrying you." Echo said as he headed out the door.

"I'm not asking you to!" Nyx roared furiously as he followed Echo.

"Haha~" Echo's laugh echoed through the house.

Walking the lonely streets of his neighborhood Echo walked with his hands in his pockets as Nyx followed behind him.

Suddenly Echo stopped in his tracks.

"What's wrong?" Nyx asked as he checked his surroundings before he was lifted in the air once more before he felt himself leaning against a chest.

"What are you doing.!?" Nyx wanted to yell but controlled himself.

"Nothing... I just felt like it. hahaha~" Echo replied with a smile on his face as he continued walking with Nyx in his arms in a princess position.

'Why am I so comfortable?!' Nyx thought as he felt like he was being hugged by clouds.

'I need to get a handle on this I'm not a fox!; but it's not so bad...' Nyx thought.

"Doctor." Echo entered the animal hospital and greeted the doctor.

"Echo? What are you doing here so late?"

"To get some dog food, and for you to check this fox."

'Bastard!' Nyx stared daggers at Echo for tricking him while Echo feigned ignorance.

"Okay put him down here... I didn't know you held foxes too; what's his name?" The doctor asked.

"Nyx." Echo replied.

"Fancy name for a fox." The doctor said as he started examining Nyx.

Every embarrassing thing doctors did to dogs happened including looking at his where the sun doesn't shine place.

'So embarrassing!' Nyx felt ashamed.

"He looks fine. You did everything I taught you to do, and since there's no injuries or anything there's nothing else to do."

"Cool." Echo said but he breathed a sigh of relief internally.

'I hate him.' Nyx thought as he glared at Echo, at his stupid beautiful content face.

"Can I just feed him anything?" Echo asked as he looked at the internet first but wanted to make sure.

"Yeah foxes can eat anything from human food to sweets just don't overfeed him or he'll get fat."

"Okay"

"Keep watching him and bring him in if anything changes."

"Well, that's good." Echo said as he was walking down the street still carrying Nyx.

"!?!"

"Hey... is there a monster in this neighborhood?" Nyx asked as he stared at Echo.

"Monster?"

"GRRRRR~!" a low growl resounded right next to him.

"!!!" Echo became alert as he looked towards the alley next to him.

The alley was pure darkness but for him, it was fully lit.

"A cat?" Echo was confused by its strange appearance.

"..." Nyx remained quiet, as he couldn't see through the pitch-black alley

"Is that the monster? It looks like a Tiger."

"It's a cat," Nyx answered as he stared at it.

"He's larger than a cat, like a dog, his eyes are dangerous."

"Run."

Echo didn't hesitate and ran away.

"Your fast, but it'll catch up at this rate." Nyx said.

"Shit it's gaining on us." Echo said as the 'cat' was right behind them.

The tiger didn't hesitate either and leaped into the air covering the distance instantly.

It raised its paws with its claws out and slashed down.

-Woosh!

Echo picked up his speed at the last second dodging its claw by a hair.

"Are you okay?" Nyx asked.

"Yeah, it missed." Echo took a deep breath still holding Nyx.

"Do you have a weapon?"

"Why would I have a weapon you damn furball!?"

"Oh wait!" Echo remembered something.

Echo reached into his back pocket and brought out a handful of treats.

Echo threw them into the air about 30 treats raining like treasures.

"?!"

"What was the point of that?" Nyx asked as he eyed the treats in the air.

"Huh?" Nyx felt strange as he stared at the treats.

The treats fell to the floor and the cat started darting around the floor eating the treats.

"Let's go!" Echo looked towards Nyx and found him running around the floor trying to eat each treat too.

"..." Echo was at a loss of words...
