Catching Up

Raven held her legs tightly and gently placed her hand over her left ear. Her eyes were still glowing because she still had the feeling of anger inside her.

" I'm sorry, Nagi, but I won't give up, not until we both are free. " Raven whispered to herself with her hand over a piecing of a black serpent at the top of her left ear.

Raven felt the Walkie-Talkie beeping in her hand. She looked at the Walkie-Talkie and stared it, wondering if to answer it.

Raven answered and spoke in an unhappy tone.

" What do you want? " Raven growled at the person.

" Sorry to catch you at a bad time, Rae. " The female voice said in a bit of an awkward tone.

" Maya? " Raven asked like her angry and sadness dissappear. Raven stood up, getting off the floor.

" Wow, someone's feeling better after growing at me. " Maya said in a sarcastic tone.

" Ngaytxoa." ( Sorry. ) Raven said softly, apologising to Maya.

" No need to say sorry, I know you are having a tough time, and I have a few new updates. " Maya said in a disappointing way.

" I'd hated to pop your bubble, but I was already told about these people being marked and not knowing when we will be collected. " Raven said, feeling very disappointed in those words.

" Oh, so how are they? The people who that you have been spending your time with. " Maya asked, feeling curious about who and how many people there are.

" At first I thought they would be suspicious or threatening like I was told, but... There's a kind girl called Emily, a boy with a Sword called Lucas, a Werewolf called Nick, and a sweet little girl called Chloe. I was threatened a little by Nick at first and the others were accepting of my abilities. " Raven explained with a happy smile thinking about the kindness she was given by them.

" So three Humans and a Werewolf, the Werewolf might be spared because he is a Supernatural, but you know what will be happen. And you showed them your abilities? " Maya said and felt surprised that Raven would trust them enough or they found out while she was off guard.

" The first time was to save Chloe from a falling Forever Tree, and about being spared, all of them are going to be spared because that is what we do. " Raven said to defend everyone.

" I know, but it's not easy and what if he finds out. He'll kill both of us or just me. " Maya said, warning Raven.

" Look, this is going to be my Last Mission and you remember the promise I made to Nagi. I need to do this. " Raven said, taking in deep breaths.

" I know and you deserve it after everything that happen. So have you do anything fun outside? At least I hope so because it can keep you healthy. " Maya asking, hoping that Raven didn't just in any trouble.

" Yes I have, and an X Demon called Fire almost attacked the others. " Raven said happily when she said Fire's name.

" Fire? Wow, I wish that I could of met him but... " Maya said but got cut off by the sound of knocking at her door.

" Sorry, that's my cue. Bye Rae and good luck. "

" Bye Maya. " Raven said and the call was ended and she walked over the bed and sat down, seeing if it might uncomfortable but felt strange.

' I can do this. ' Raven thought to herself and placed the Walkie-Talkie back under the bed.
