11 Chapter Ten: A Helpful Call - January 9th 2027

That night after dinner Val Returned to his room before grabbing his cell phone and searching his phone contacts for on of his friend's numbers that might be able to help him. Once he'd located their number he pressed the call button and waited as it began to ring.

The phone rang one. Then It rang a second time before finally there was a click and a tired female voice answered with a yawn, "What is it Val some of us don't have maids to do all of the work for us. I got home and had a whole week's worth of choirs of which I just finished and I was planning on going to bed early."

"Victoria I need your help you see there is this person who can't seem to get out of my head and I was-" started Val only to be cut off by Vixi.

"Val you're a great friend and all but really that's all I ever see us being is just friends." interrupted Vixi not wanting to lead him into any false hope.

"Oh well that's okay because honestly Victoria you're not really my type you see I'm gay. You know into guys not girls?" replied Val.

"Really? I would've never guessed." asked Vixi, "How come you've never said anything about it?"

"For starters my parents don't even know and I really don't know what they'd think if they did know." sighed Val. "You think you might be able to help me or are you too focused on the fact I'm gay?"

"Oh sorry. You said there was someone who you just can't get out of your head." replied Vixi with a smile she finally had someone to talk to about guys other then her mother. "Who is it? I have to know who your crush is so I can help you make the right next moves."

"Well Victoria to be honest there are two guys and I really don't know if either one of them like me the same way that I like them." sighed Val.

"Two guys means double the chances of at least one of them will so spill the beans already." pleaded Vixi need to know more then how much she wanted Kat which was a lot.

"Derek and Kyle." confessed Val waiting to hear her immediate push for Dirt since everyone knew she was deeply in love with Kat, well everyone except him."

"I see now I'm not sure about Dirt I mean Derek but what I do know you and him are complete opposites. As for Kat well the fact he wont give me the time of day may mean he's gay but who knows. Why don't we make a plan by the school's Valentine's Day dance we ask them out." replied Vixi. "I'll let you go first with Kat then you can try Derek and only after that will I go ask Kat out."

"Wait you're going to let me go after Kyle?" asked a confused Val.

"Val my dear, everyone one except Kat seems to know how much I love him and at this point I've almost given up on me and him ever being an item." explained Vixi with a sigh.

"Hay if I'm willing to even consider asking Derek out on a date then you're not allowed to give up on you and Kyle. Understood?" replied Val, "So lets make this pack to find a way to get our crushes to go with us to the dance."

"Well I'll let you have first go at Kat so starting tomorrow you get three strikes before I move back in. Okay?" asked Vixi with a smile.

"Victoria I can just forget my feelings for Kyle if you want?" replied Val with a new kind of tenderness for her. Their friendship was slowly growing stronger in a unique kind of way.

"No, if you have a crush on him as well who am I to get in your way of happiness. Besides it's not like he's looking to ask me out any time soon." replied Vixi only to sigh at the end of it.

"Well if he turns me down then I'll slap him silly if he doesn't give you a chance." boldly replied Val, "In fact I'll get Derek to dig a whole for us to stick him in."

"Hay I still love him even if he doesn't give me the time of day!" exclaimed Vixi before adding, "So I can't give you permission to stick him in a hole until he does."

"We'll see what you think of the idea after Valentine's Day." replied Val "The heart causes on to do weird things at least that's what I've heard."

"Are you saying I've done stupid and weird things for Kat's love?" teased Vixi "Well I may have done a few questionable things but I don't know if I'd call it weird?"

"Victoria just last week you sat on his lap and whispered into his ear that you weren't wearing any underwear." teased Val. "I think I'd call that a bit weird."

"I can't help when I'm in heat and really need to fuck." replied Vixi.

"In heat? You act like you're some kind of animal. You may have a period Victoria but not heat. Humans don't have heat." replied Val, "With that said, I'm neither a biologist nor a zoologist and could just be wrong."

"Okay so I was exaggerating about the heat thing but it's better then saying I was horny now isn't it?" huffed Vixi with a hint of frustration.

"Sorry Victoria I didn't mean you any harm. I mean thanks for the advice and the go ahead to go after Kyle you love puppy." replied Val "Thanks again and I guess I'll see you at school."

"Yah see you there." replied Vixi and with a click the phone call was ended and Vixi collapsed on her bed and drifted off to sleep while Val looked out his window and smiled at least until he realized that he had to now go talk to his friends about him being gay and in love with them.
