Lake Lotus Sect was a legacy which spanned over thousands of years.
Legend has it that Lake Lotus Sect was created over thousands of years ago when three legendary powerhouses clased at the very location the sect stands today.
Their might was boundless and shook the heavens and split the earth.
Their fight lasted for exactly 9 years 9 months and 9 days before they decided to undo the damage they had done and established the Lake Lotus Sect.
The craters they created were filled with water and new life forms were birthed.
Food chains were established and the landscape was restored.

A terrifying pressure engulfed the elders as they broke out in cold sweat.
"Hmm, very well then. Since the sect has suffered loss under Elder Jian Hu's jurisdiction, you will naturally have to pay repecusstions," Sect Leader's voice was cold and distinct.
"N- Naturally Sect Master, I am willing to pay as many merits points as possible!"
Jian Hu trembled as he spoke.
After all, he was merely a Foundation Establishment cultivator.
He had previously refined a Golden Core Pill, which could aid him in breaking through into the Golden Core realm.
"The outer sect has suffered massive losses due to you, how will the outer sect disciples cultivate after your blunder"

"You've made a good decision Elder Jian Hu," Sect Leader's words lessened Jian Hu's pressure even further.
"Don't worry, as long as you perform well, You'll naturally have the chance of regaining this Golden Core Pill."
And so the carrot and stick was arranged.
Jian Hu was now completely leashed.
