Cultivate: take their power!

"Put your hands in the air.." A larger male that could be identified as a cities police officer called out. "Their up, their up.." A young man with a street thug like appearance complied and raised his arms upwards with compliance.

"You really think the J.P.D are that dumb don't you kid?" The now recognized JPD police officer commented. "Yes, actually I do." The young man said before his arms started to glow a light green before a large flash of light could be seen for about three blocks in each direction.

"Too easy..." the young man said as he ran off of the scene with a small case that had some piece of technology stored inside. "The boys back home are gonna love this lil' thing!" He said to himself excitedly before he quickly climbed up a nearby fire escape in a dark alleyway with a wide smirk spreading across his face.

"Don't tell me you actually stole it..?" Asked a young man different looking from the first as soon as our first thug strolled into a small warehouse like building. "Joker, I don't wanna hear it from your clumsy ass. It was easy work for a thief like me." He said as he gave the other man, now dubbed 'Joker', a laugh. "Easy their squirt I can still whoop your ass." He replied with a small chuckle as he bopped the younger one on the shoulder playfully.

"Take that tech to R&D before the boss comes out and kicks your ass." Joker mentions as he walks into a smaller room off in the corner of the larger room. "Sure thing..." He responds and walks up a set of stairs that are set next to the smaller room that joker previously walked into. The stairs lead up to a lab surrounded by thick glass windows with the occasional decal.

"This little guy is gonna help improve recon by 100%!" Our protagonist says with glee as he opens the locked metal case forcefully after walking into the lab with a small blow torch that comes out of his cybernetic enhanced arm. He uses it to cut open a welded panel on the back of the bot. "This updated version of our old D5AN bot is way too complex... It's like they spent years making this thing." he murmurs off as he plugs a cable into it and starts typing away at a laptop that the cable came from. "D5AN kinda sucks let's change your name bud... how about JH8N?" the bot whirred in dissatisfaction. "No? Oh well I guess we can name you HIRB." He said with a chuckle as the but made an angry noise while he unplugged the cable from the bot and shut the panel. "Hey, it's fine it stands for Highly Intelligent Recon Bot!" he said with a smile as the bot just turned away from him, seemingly frustrated.

"That jackass doesn't know how to not cause a damn scene.." grumbled a large older gentleman as he puffed on a disgustingly bad cigarette before giving a hearty coughing fit from the smoke entering his already old lungs. "That kid is gonna get us killed one of these days. I just hope he does his job before then." He continues before turning off a TV that was broadcasting a news report of a thief escaping police after stealing something from a small but well known corporation in the Vaarin prefecture of the city.
