When he found out that his mate was in the Trivino family, he decided to marry her. But a day before their marriage, he found out that she was cheating on him. Elysia Trivino was happily preparing for her marriage until she found out that the man she loves cheated on her with her elder sister. She decided not to marry him and to show their real faces to everyone on the day of marriage. However, she got stunned when Trustin forced her to marry him after threatening her with her sister’s life. Elysia could not turn a blind eye to it and she agreed to marry Trustin. ~~~~~~ Elysia’s breath hitched when she found herself trapped between Trustin’s arm and the wall behind her. She reminded him of the no touching rule that they made with each other. Trustin chuckled and ducked his head to kiss the hollow of her neck. Those warm lips on her cold skin sent shivers down her spine. Her breathing became erratic. Trustin moved back gradually and peered into her eyes. “Do you think that no touching rule can forbid me from getting close to you?” He asked in his deep voice. His thumb rested on her bottom lip and he traced it. “I will break this today, Elysia,” he said before crashing his onto hers.

The Wedding Ceremony

Tristan was waiting for Elysia on the wedding altar to follow him to take the wedding oaths. The guests from his side were present and eagerly waiting for the bride to come. He tilted his head and looked at his father, who was seated next to his mother.

He wanted to thrash Brigetta and Arteus for cheating on him. However, he had to control his anger for the sake of his parents, and those numerous guests from his side. He wanted to get married peacefully.

A piece of soft, pleasant music played on the piano, which irritated Trustin. He loved piano music a lot, but today he even hated it. He wanted a simple wedding by taking oaths to witness the Moon Goddess. However, his parents were stubborn to ask him for a grand wedding and forced him to do all such preparations for the wedding.

'These people are just dramatic!' He told himself in his mind.

His eyes darted at the door from where Elysia would enter soon. Instead, Brigetta entered first, which made him cringe in disgust. She had her hand scooped around her mother's arm.

Tristan gazed at Brigetta, who had won the bridal gown that she had requested from him. His jaw clenched to see that fake smile on her lips as she walked down the aisle with her mother. Brigetta was so cheap that she was ready to marry him when she was pregnant with Artues' child.

Such a money-hungry woman she was!

Outside the door, Elysia had stood with a blank expression on her face. She had carried so many dreams of this day. Everything shattered in such a short time. A few days ago, her life was smooth and now, she was on the verge of losing everything.

Numerous times she asked herself why she deserved such a betrayal. She did everything for Artues and was loyal to him all the time. Just for some money, he cheated on her.

When Tristan told her that telling their evil truth would not do anything, she contemplated. Her father would be present there too. Though he was paralyzed and in a wheelchair, he would witness all the drama. It would hurt him the most to see her daughter would not marry today.

So, she finally made up her mind to marry Trustin. Her marriage with Tristan would be the best slap to both Brigetta and Artues.

"I am clearly being forced to marry a man, whom I met just a few hours ago," she murmured.

Elysia took a deep breath in and walked into the wedding hall, holding the wedding bouquet in her hand. She wore a fake smile on her lips and kept her head low.

Trustin's gaze immediately shifted from Brigetta to Elysia. She looked gorgeous in that wedding gown. His heart skipped a beat and his eyes glistened as she took steps toward her on the wedding aisle. She had matched Brigetta's and her mother's steps to reach close to them.

Her stepmother held her hand and smiled at her. Artues took a step forward to hold Elysia's hand. That wide smile on his lips made Elysia think of punching his face and beating him until he lost consciousness. He still had the audacity to keep the lie about his and Brigetta's relationship.

Eithan, who was also present at the wedding, glanced at Elysia. She looked stunning in that bridal attire. He was upset to think that she decided to enter the hall to expose the truth about Brigetta and Artues. He did not want her to get hurt doing all this, but he could even do it.

However, one thing Eithan could not understand, was why was his brother still ready to marry Brigetta. Was he in love with her? But their last night's conversation did not show any such thing. He asked Tristanthe reason behind it too, but he told him to remain patient and be present at the wedding.

"What are you doing," Mrs. Trivino held onto her hand and tried to stop her, afraid that she would grab all the spotlight from her daughter but it never came to her mind that she was out to grab Brigetta's husband instead.

Both Elysia and Brigetta reached the wedding altar. Brigetta was ready to hold the hand of Tristan when Elysia stepped toward Tristan and he held his hand. Brigetta and Artues were stunned to see that.

"Ely!"

"Tristan!"

Both Brigetta and Artues said at the same time. Mrs. Trivino asked Elysia what she was doing when Elysia said, "I will marry Trustin."

Tristan smiled at her and pulled her gently toward him.

Down the aisle, the guests present started to whisper among each other. Eithan was shocked to see that Elysia and Tristan held each other's hands. So, this was their plan! To marry each other. No, Elysia could not marry Trustin.

"What did you say, Elysia?" Mrs. Trivino quickly left her daughter's side and went in her direction.

"Mom, I am marrying Tristan Hunter."

"Elysia, you cannot joke like this! You are supposed to marry Arteus. Leave Trustin's side," Brigetta said with fury. She stepped toward them and held Elysia's hand to pull it away when Tristan asked her to stop.

His glare intimidated Brigetta. Tristan never looked at her with that gaze. He yanked her hand away from Elysia's wrist and looked at her. "I will marry Elysia Trivino today," Tristan announced in a loud and clear voice.

Everyone was dumbstruck to hear his words, especially his father and mother.

"What is Tristandoing?" William Hunter looked at his wife, Hannah. She was herself confused. She knew that Tristan told her that he would marry Brigetta, so why was this sudden change of bride? She turned her head to look at her younger son, Eithan and asked him if he knew anything about it.

"No," Eithan refused.

They looked at the wedding altar, where Artues questioned Elysia if she cheated on him behind his back.

Elysia chuckled and said, "How much more are you two going to lie? I am disappointed in you, Artues. You and Brigetta are the ones who cheated me and Trustin. Brigetta carries your child in her womb and you both shamelessly tried to hide it." Elysia screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Elysia, how dare you accuse my daughter of such a thing?" Her stepmother shouted at her.

"I have evidence," Tristan stated, thus shutting the mouth of those evil people. "Brigetta cheated on me with Artues. She merely wanted my money. How could they both even think to fool me? Not just them, but you too, Mrs. Trivino! You lied to me the day I came to your house asking for your daughter's hand in marriage. You lied to me and told me that you have only one daughter. Now, you three, just leave our sight before I sue you all!" Tristanthreatened them.

Beads of sweat formed on Artues's and Brigetta's foreheads as their relationship was disclosed to the world. The next second, two bodyguards came to the wedding aisle and dragged both Brigetta and Artues out of the hall. The guests were shocked to see all this commotion when Tristantook the mic from the priest. He addressed the guests present there and apologized to them for all those things that happened a moment ago.

"Elysia and I have decided to marry each other today. We both started to connect after we found out their relationship truth. They wanted to marry us for our money. We were devastated to know the truth, but gradually we fell for each other while discovering the truth about them," Tristan proclaimed.

Elysia was startled to hear all those words.

"I hope you all will bless us," he asserted and gave back the mic to the priest.

He then took Elysia to the wedding altar, where they both would take their wedding vows.

William looked at Hannah and in a low voice, he said, "That is why I told you not to come into his words. The woman he found cheated on him. So many people are present here. What will they think about all this mess he created?"

Eithan chuckled to hear his father's words. He had not changed a bit.

"You think your son should have married a woman, who cheated on him!" Eithan was ready to argue with his father for his brother.

"You are not a part of the Hunter Family, so do not put your opinions here," William said in a hoarse voice. Hannah told her husband to calm down and looked at Eithan, gesturing for him not to speak.

The priest took their hands and joined them. Elysia looked at Trustin's warm hand while he had his eyes glued to her face. The priest asked Tristan to repeat the vows behind him, followed by Elysia.

"Yes, I take Elysia Trivino as my wife," Tristan stated while keeping her gaze on her.

"Yes, I take Tristan Hunter as my husband," Elysia said as she met his gaze.

"The groom may kiss his bride," the priest said, and Elysia widened her eyes. She had almost forgotten about this. She pleaded with her eyes to Tristan not to kiss her while he closed the distance between them. His warm hands rested on her bare shoulders, and he leaned down.

Elysia tightly shut her eyes in nervousness and also held the bouquet tightly.

She opened her eyes when she felt his warm lips touch her cheek. Their eyes met again, this time for a brief moment, and suddenly, loud cheering sounds reverberated in the hall.

"From today onward you both are husband and wife!" The priest declared.
