Together...Forever?
As the envoy approached Starbucks, Alex was nervous, not because he knew Lia was going to be shocked but because he really didn't know what to expect. He had kept tabs on her but the woman was smart and could tell if someone was stalking her.
She had excellent abilities and he was not going to risk being found.
He didn't want to risk being on her wrong side. He knew just how much Lia hated being followed without her consent, and even though he was accustomed to broken noses, getting one from the woman he loved was never part of the deal.
He needed her and together they would solve the mysteries of their lives. As they got closer to trucks, the bus that was carrying the band members dropped them and turned back.
