Alexandra was getting late for work, not really late but for her first day, she considered it late. She had spent too much time in the shower to even remember that she was getting late.
Mia was still sleeping and despite the questions Lexi had, she would let her sleep. After all, she deserved it. They had had a beautiful night, one that she would just get out of the shower to go back to, but she had a giant to slay today.
She had to make things right. Only she could be able to do that. And she was not going to back down.
Hurriedly dressing up and taking her breakfast, Lexi was ready for her first day. She kissed Mia good morning before leaving for the office. On her way there, she thought about when she would move out of her brother's house. She wanted everything safe and she didn't want to leech off her brother.
