Veronica turned back to see then she saw the familiar person as she was watching he also watched her and walked towards her with another person behind him
Adams : what a pleasant surprise
Veronica smiles and says : same here what are you doing here ??
Adams : atleast i should introduce myself properly i am adams meadows CEO of xxx company here as he shows the direction of company which is ruby square which right side
Veronica then says : Then we are rivals now as she says shows the direction of left ruby square and says CFO of xxx company
Adams was surprised and asks : i thought you were ab artist
Veronica : i thought the same? anyway nice seeing you again i was confused as there two ruby squares i guess if you are right then i am left thanks for solving confusion
Adams : you owe me an explanation says while checking the time lets catch up again in free time looks like you are busy
Veronica shamelessly admitted : yeah my other worldly proposal lets meet again in a fateful counter bye i need to catch up for work my soon
Veronica left in a hurry and adams turn around to go when his secretary who watched the whole exchange of their words asked as who is she
Adams smiled and replied : someone who blessed my relationship with my girlfriend for a long life
hearing words secretary got curious about adams girlfriend and asked about her
Adams smiled and said : she will be visiting soon i will introduce then
Veronica reached the elevator tried to calm down by counting numbers as kept poker face any one who saw her may thought she was a serious person no she is not a serious person she just fears elevators ( yes Veronica who doesn't fear bugs, insects , any wild animals, heights, ghosts also has two terror striking fears one is snakes which is not a problem as she in a city but other is the problem that elevator she pretty much covered up her fear of elevator Infront everyone expect for Simon and his brother and her mother )
when first her mother and Simon's brother discovered her fear they just mocked and teased ofcourse Simon also teased but every time he just holds her hand tightly whenever getting on elevator so after continues practice she some what overcame fear now she just counts numbers to distract and she is good
After the reaching her floor she took a breathe and scanned id and went inside and people are waiting with flowers and all after watching her entering people surrounded with welcomed warmly and introduced themselves as i introduced myself after brief greetings i followed the person in charge showing my cabin informed of all my duties and left and closed almost immediately after the staff left veronica stood up straight and went to her glass windows took pictures of her desk table and set it to her family and Simon someone replied instantly she didn't check instead she took the files to start her work after few hours she received a remainder as to state that is lunch which specifically set up Simon to remind her to eat on time glanced the mobile phone when she heared on knocks on her cabin door she said come in then Sam who informed me earlier came to my cabin
Veronica : Please have a seat anything required??
Sam : no thanks CEO ordered welcome party dinner today to welcome you i was here to inform you about event it takes at 6 o clock in near xxx restaurant all the staff are coming
Veronica : Ok i will be there and asked did you have lunch ? if not could we have lunch together ??
Sam : No Problem do u mind if i add one more person ?
Veronica : i don't mind
Sam : yeah i will get give 2 mins said and ran away
seeing her like that Veronica smiled Sam reminded her of a Jenny(her friend) they both are similar people
thinking of Jenny, Veronica thought of the times of them together, 3 years is a lot of times now each and everyone are busy with their own lives same with over period there will be less and less contact its not it leads to change in their still even after so many they same have bond its priorities before us that changed
Veronica pulled back from her thoughts when she heard Sam came to join the lunch on the way to company canteen Sam introduced her friend her name is Paige and she is her next deskmate we talked all the way to canteen and had a simple lunch and started working before i know its already its time for welcome party as she left the company she called Simon when she heard busy she just left the location of restaurant and voice message stating that she is going for welcome party and she left for restaurant when she reached the table she greeted the CEO said some nice words and left to sit with other female employees they enthusiastically welcomed and said some flattery words which is common among company dinners after sometime i excused myself saying that i need to restroom then i took a turn sat on corner table and order separate meal for myself then i received a call from Simon
Simon : are u still in the welcome party ?
Veronica : yeah guess what i am doing?
Simon : you should have sneak out and ordered meal separately
Veronica exclaimed : Wow are you a mind reader ?
Simon : its not the first time you have done that Ver don't get caught or else they will think you are arrogant
Veronica : yeah yeah stop nagging ok where are you ?
Simon : I wished my wait for me i will pick up we can go home
Veronica : you missed something to call me
Simon knowingly asked : what ??
Veronica : then forget it said as acting to hang up
Simon said : ok ok sit tight baby i will pick you up happy ?
Veronica : hmm come early i pack will dishes for you
after 10 mins she received her order she started eat some sat opposite side of her table when glanced she met with adams smile
Adams gestured her to continue and asked her if can sit there when he received a nod he sat there
