Chapter 1Chapter 1: A New Beginning

Kazuki had always been fascinated by the world of Kuroko no Basket, a popular basketball manga and anime series. He was an avid fan of the intense matches and the amazing abilities possessed by the characters. Little did he know, his life was about to take an extraordinary turn.

In Kazuki's previous world, his life was cut short due to an unfortunate accident. As his soul drifted into the unknown, he found himself face to face with a divine being. It was God himself, presenting Kazuki with an opportunity for a second chance at life.

"I have witnessed your passion for basketball, Kazuki. I can grant you a new life in the world of Kuroko no Basket," God spoke in a calming voice.

Overwhelmed with excitement, Kazuki could hardly contain himself. "Yes! Please, let me be a part of that world. I want to experience the thrill of playing basketball alongside my favorite characters!"

God smiled and handed Kazuki two cards, each faced down. "These cards contain the abilities you will posses in your new life. Choose wisely."

With bated breath, Kazuki picked up the cards and turned them over. The first card revealed the ability called "Perfect Copy." This power allowed him to mimic any basketball move, making him an incredible force to be reckoned with on the court. The second card had the words "Chronos Eyes" written on it. This ability allowed him to perceive time in slow motion, giving him a tactical advantage during games.

Filled with excitement and anticipation, Kazuki was ready to embrace his new life. As his soul began its journey through the realms, he felt a surge of energy and warmth enveloping him. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in America, being born into a loving family.

His parents, Michael and Sarah, and his older sister, Lisa, marveled at the sight of their newborn baby. Kazuki's eyes sparkled with an unknown glimmer, an indication of the extraordinary abilities that lay dormant within him.

"He's so adorable," Sarah cooed, gently cradling the newborn Kazuki in her arms.

Michael leaned in closer, whispering to his wife, "Do you think he'll grow up to love basketball as much as I do?"

Sarah smiled affectionately, "Only time will tell, my love."

As Kazuki grew older, his connection with the world of basketball became more evident. Even as a baby, he would delight in watching basketball games on TV with his family. It was clear that the sport ran through his veins.

One day, Michael decided it was time to introduce Kazuki to the wonders of street basketball. He had noticed the way Kazuki's eyes lit up whenever a basketball match played on screen. It was a bonding opportunity that he didn't want to miss.

Kazuki's excitement soared as he walked hand in hand with his father towards the local basketball courts. He could hardly wait to witness the intensity of the game up close. However, as much as he tried, Kazuki couldn't activate his newly acquired abilities.

Frustrated, Kazuki pondered, "Why won't they work? Is something wrong with me?"

Years passed, and Kazuki's eyes gradually changed, acquiring a reddish-blue tint when he turned six. Concerned about this alteration, Sarah decided to consult with the family doctor, hoping for some reassuring answers.

"I'm not sure what's causing the color change, Mrs. Williams," the doctor explained. "It could possibly be a mutation in his genes. We'll need to observe him closely, but it doesn't seem to be a cause for immediate concern.".

As Kazuki began experimenting with his abilities, he soon discovered that they came at a cost. Each time he used them, his stamina drained alarmingly fast. It was a lesson he learned the hard way, collapsing on the basketball court one day, leaving his parents filled with worry.

Rushing him to the hospital, his parents anxiously awaited answers from the doctor. After a thorough examination, the doctor reassured them that it was merely exhaustion from pushing his limits.

"But, Michael, you must pay closer attention to Kazuki's stamina. He is still a child, and we must ensure his health doesn't suffer," Sarah said, her voice tinged with concern.

Michael felt a pang of guilt, realizing that he had pushed Kazuki too hard. He slipped his arm around Sarah, promising to be more mindful of their son's well-being.
