Dethroned

*Few minutes ago*

Captain Drek had gathered enough soldiers so he went to inform Saz.

"Your majesty, I've assembled the soldiers as you asked." Captain Drek informed.

"Send as many as possible to the border to wait for Jade. Any sign of hostility, open fire." Saz replied.

"Your wish is my command." Captain Drek said and left.

"I hope you'd like the present, Jade."

"Well it seems like we're in for a surprise." Jade said, standing in front of the three.

At the border hundreds of soldiers were all waiting there, pointing the mk-19 at them.

Captain Drek walked out of the forest.

"I'm flattered, you are more calmer than I expected. Did Rhen told you what happened?" Captain Drek asked.

"I'm also flattered at the fact that a retired captain is leading the army." Jade said.

"What can I say, the king fired Peter and I had to do it." Captain Drek stated.

"So let me guess, you also agreed to exile my family." Jade said seriously.

"As a punishment for disobeying the king." Captain Drek replied.

"I'm gonna tell you one truth, nobody in the village has the power to exile any member of my family." Jade stated angrily.

"I guess in your dreams, you better wake up soon." Captain Drek said as he turned back to leave. "Leave if you do want peace."

"(Chuckles) You think those toys would work on the last grogg huh?" Jade asked, smirking widely. "Why not test it on us first?"

Jade with extraordinary speed, ran towards captain Drek. He grabbed him at his neck, threw him at the soldiers.

All the soldiers opened fire instantly.

Rhen and Racle fired out a load of fire at the forest, the trees caught up immediately and the soldiers had to retreat for a bit.

Selina on the other hand had started attacking the soldiers widely, breaking their guns into pieces.

Jade walked up to captain Drek who was just standing up from where he landed.

He lifted the captain up and they both left the border, walking towards the palace.

The border was in complete chaos, gun shots were being heard here and there, flames of fire rising to the sky, giving the village's background a different color.

After a long walk Jade had gotten to the palace, still holding on to captain Drek as a shield.

"I guess the army weren't enough to hold you off." Saz who was standing at the front of the palace with four soldiers at his sides holding the same mk-19 said.

"You should know better than that, Saz." Jade said, making his way to the palace.

"That's enough, one more step and you're gonna regret it." Saz stated, seriously.

"(Sighs) Saz, come on. This crazy ammunition aren't going to work on this grogg, we need to think better." Jade said, waiting for a response.

"Like you are one to talk, refusing to try what we asked you to and going to Visgard at a crucial time when we needed you." Saz replied.

"I wouldn't have thought of doing this but you've really gone out of track and I'd have to take back my position." Jade said.

"Blah blah blah, did you say something?" Saz teased.

"Tch, in other words, I'm going to dethrone you." Jade stated.

"(Laughs out loud) You, dethrone me. I'd like you to try." Saz said, waiting for Jade to move. "Fire."

Jade sprinted in zigzag, dodging all the bullets being fired at him till he got to Saz.

He punch Saz on his belly with his hand hardened and held him hostage.

"Drop your weapons and leave, now." Jade commanded.

The soldiers did as he said and left.

"You are only making matter worse for you." Saz said, groaning in pain as he was being dragged into the palace.

"If you believe you are the king then free yourself." Jade said. "Do you remember when the war with the groggs got worst your father had to join in the fight?"

"What do you mean?" Saz asked In pain.

"Of course you wouldn't know as you were locked up with the citizens in the tomb through out the war period just like you've locked Yeln and Guriel in the tomb." Jade said, sitting on the throne. "The king is the strongest person in the village apart from a guardian, followed by the queen then their first son."

"Just keep spitting nonsense, your time will soon run out." Saz said disgustedly.

"You were never told and you never knew because you were never the king's first son but rather the second, in order not to break your little home, I your elder brother had to forsake the throne." Jade explained.

"Elder brother huh? In your dreams.

"Believe it or not, Selina, Racle and Rhen will be here anytime soon. Racle who's my first son is the rightful heir to this throne." Jade stated.

Immediately, the door opened and Billy walked in. He was staring at Saz as he walked up to the throne.

"What you've been saying, is it true?" Billy asked without hesitation, looking at Jade who was sitting on the throne.

"If it's not true, how else could the three villages asked their king to go to war fifteen years ago?" Jade asked, tilting his head slightly. "We couldn't inform you and Peter of the truth as you were five and six with Saz."

"I don't believe you, who else knows about these?" Billy asked.

"It's possible your sister already knows since she married Mark, you could asked her." Jade replied.

"You think what this fool is saying is true?" Saz asked, still groaning in pain on the floor.

"Not until I confirm it." Billy replied, he turned back and was about to leave when the door opened again.

"No need for that cause it's true." Mark said, walking in with Cindy, Peter, Rhen, Selina and Racle.

"Mark!" Billy exclaimed. "You all knew.... but nobody told me."

"Not me, they actually just told me." Peter said immediately.

"Don't look at me like that, I just found out this morning." Cindy said, avoiding eye contact.

"This is unimaginable. So what do we do now?" Billy asked. "And why's Saz looking like that."

"You could say he's getting the reward for allowing the power get to his head. Worst of all he banished my whole family, not regarding what I had done for the village." Jade said. "What we'll do is obvious. Everyone back in position, we're about to face the last grogg and this is no ordinary grogg."

"Meaning?" Billy asked.

"I was defeated in less than a minute." Jade replied.

**"A minute!!"**

"Secondly, he's in control of all the beings on the entire universe." Jade said.

"Are you kidding me? Earth is doomed!" Cindy exclaimed.

"If he has that much soldiers, what's the need of fighting? i mean, it's a lost battle." Mark stated. Everyone was so curious to know what Jade's plan was and were all waiting in anticipation.

"As of now he's weak and recuperating. With the small space shuttle he shouldn't be able to transport much of the skimals. I think the best way is to dominate each world one by one." Jade said as he thought about the plan. "But that means we would still have to face him. Anyways we'd have to divide our forces into three. One, the group that will destroy the machine two, the group that will hold the skimals off and three, the group that will go against the grogg."

"This is one hell of a crazy plan." Mark commented.

"But won't that take a toll on you?" Rhen asked worriedly.

"Of course it would, I could even die in the process but that depends on how long it takes to defeat the grogg. The sooner the better." Jade replied, standing up from the throne.

He hardened his hands a bit and lifted Saz up.

"I am going to make the announcement tomorrow and if there are still doubts, Saz here will challenge Racle my son to a duel." Jade said, releasing Saz from his hold. "Till then, let's have a nice time."
