This time Marcello was already in class even before Evelyn had entered which had completely taken her by surprise.
"What's up with you?" Evelyn chuckled at the grouchy man. "You look like you haven't slept last night."
"I haven't." He replied as he ran a hand over his tired and sunken eyes. The dark circles grew more prominent than the last time she had seen him.
Then he looked at her with tired eyes and a pouty face. "Would you do me a favour?"
"What?" Evelyn frowned.
He tsked, "so mama knows that I partied last night and the night before—well technically since she has been gone and now she will call you to check up on me if I am attending classes or not."
"Oh," Evelyn's eyebrows shot up. She kept for books besides his seat and sat down on it. She hummed loudly as she said, "I don't know why marcelo did not come to university today. This is so irresponsible on his part."
