The Neat Rooms

This is sick! Was my ancestor a creditable architect in his day? Oh, the Great Gods.

"Why are you even smiling like that?"

"Aah, no," Satya scratched his head. "I was just thinking about how genius my ancestor was at doing everything."

Latifa smiled sweetly. "I'm glad to hear that," she said. "Now you can value Master Kencana Ireng."

"Master?"

"Well," Lathifa took a deep breath. "However, I learned a lot from him. So, it's not wrong for me to call him master, right?"

"But you're a princess?"

"I am. So? What's wrong with that? You're just being weird!"

"Okay, okay!" Satya laughed silently.

They checked the other two underground rooms. They didn't find a single bed in the existing rooms. The room on the right is filled with old books, some scrolls made of animal skins and interwoven palm leaves, or an arrangement of thin bamboo blades that are sewn in such a way.

"We're going to check this room."

"Hey," Satya glared. "Seriously!"

Latifa smiled. "I mean, tomorrow morning."

"Aah… okay," Satya scratched his head. The room looked like a very neat little library to him.

Well, maybe Kencana Ireng is hiding an important clue among all the things in this room, he thought.

In the room, there was a wooden table that is too small to make a bed and also a chair.

Then in the room on the left, they found that the room was a kind of storage area for various weapons such as spears, swords, kris, arrows, and so on. There are no tables and chairs there.

"This one's like an armory," said Satya. "Unfortunately, there's not a single gun here."

"Gun?" Latifa frowned.

Satya chuckled. "Hmm, it's like a weapon that can shoot bullets—"

"Bullets?" again the girl frowned. "What are you talking about, Satya? It seems your world is very strange!"

Satya couldn't help but laugh while scratching his head.

"It's as simple as this," he said. "A weapon that can shoot hot lead that can even crack a person's head."

"Like an arrow?"

"Faster than that."

"Wow…! Imagine if such a weapon existed in this day and age!"

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking," said Satya. "However, I guess it will be useless."

"You think so?"

"Hey, didn't you tell me that Pramudya had supernatural powers and magic?"

"Yeah, I did."

"That's what I meant," said Satya. "In the era where I came from, believe it or not, mystical things like that still exist. And yes, I've never heard that someone with such abilities could be injured with a gun."

"Oh, I see?"

They returned to the first room where there was a series of stairs leading up.

"And now," said Satya with his hands on his waist. "Where should we sleep?"

Lathifa just smiled as she shook her head. For her, sleeping wherever it is, she can do it without feeling uncomfortable. It seems that in Satya's world all things have their function and terms, she thought.

"Satya."

"What?"

The girl stifled a laugh. "We can sleep in this room instead."

"Without a pedestal?"

"Hey, you brought the batik cloth."

"Aah, that's right," Satya smirked as he took off his batik cloth and shook the cloth in such a way.

"Stupid!"

Then, Satya approached the wall that separated the room from the room on the right, spread his batik cloth in such a way on the floor, and intended to use the batik cloth as his bed.

However, when he glanced at Lathifa, he let out a deep and long sigh. Stupid, I'm stupid! he thought. Shouldn't I put women first?

"What is it?" asked Latifa.

"Ermm, if you want," said Satya. "You can use this batik cloth as your bedding, or your blanket."

Latifa smiled. At the very least, the man had shown some concern. Fortunately, she knew enough that Satya wouldn't be able to sleep on the cold brick floor.

The problem is when they slept together in the same bed while in her hut, Lathifa was very aware that Satya always hugged her unconsciously because of the cold temperature. In fact, by burying his face into the cleavage of her breasts.

"Thank you," Lathifa said with a sudden blush on her face. "But no, you can use it for yourself."

"What about you then?" asked Satya.

In his heart, he hoped to be able to sleep side by side with Lathifa like before. After all, the girl's curves were too precious to ignore, he thought.

"I can sleep anywhere."

"I, I see, huh?" Satya scratched his head.

Lathifa smiled, she could sense the nervousness from Satya's gesture. What an idiot, she thought. Supposedly, if he wanted to sleep with me, why not just say so?

"Satya."

"Yes?"

"It's just a matter of sleep, right?"

"O-Of course."

"Good grief!" Latifa took a deep breath.

The girl approached the man and gently touched his shoulder. Without any words being spoken, she brought Satya to lie on the floor which had been covered with the batik cloth.

Even though he was nervous, Satya was quite happy with Lathifa who seemed to understand his wishes even without saying it.

They lay close together, Lathifa lay against the wall on her right, and Satya lay on Lathifa's left.

For a moment, Satya looked at the beautiful face beside him, smiling.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Lathifa frowned, holding back her smile.

"Aah, I'm," he cleared his throat. "Y-You…"

"Yes?"

"So beautiful."

Lathifa almost laughed hearing that. She patted the man's thigh lightly. "You're teasing me, Satya. This is already the second time!"

Satya shifted his attention, from the increasingly seductive cleavage of her breasts to the ceiling of the room.

"Sorry," he said.

"Come on, we better get some sleep. It's already late."

"Yeah, I think you're right," Satya gulped.

When Lathifa closed her eyes, Satya couldn't sleep as fast as he wanted even though his body was screaming for him to get some rest.

However, the beautiful cleavage of the girl attracted his attention again. And of course, it made his shaft throbbing.

Oh, the Great Goddess… what's wrong with me?

Why can't my mind escape from this girl's beautiful body?

This is so irritating!

After a few minutes, Satya could hear the soft snoring from Lathifa's mouth, only then could he close his eyes and fall into a deep sleep.
