Chapter 1Chapter 1 - Hidden Above The Peak of the Mountain 1/1

"Master... Will this really be the last time that I'll hear you?"

I feel saddened about this. My name is Leon Greyheart, a workaholic, died single because I was focusing my self in living my life working.

When I died because of overworking, I found myself here in a strange world. Though, I'm not alone, because this entity keeps talking to me inside my head. It called himself system, but I named it to master as it was showing me the way to survive in this unknown world.

"I apologize, Leon. My purpose is to help you and within 10 years, you have finally achieved the goals needed. I now entitled you. Saint Gardener, Saint Musician, Saint Wizard, Saint Enchanter, Saint Scholar, Saint Beast Tamer, Saint Cook, Saint Crafter, Saint Doctor, Saint Alchemist, and lastly, Saint Warlord. These will be my last words that you will hear, now, go on, and live your life to the fullest, it's time for you to explore this world."

Master's voice sounds robotic, but I can feel it is saddened by our parting. I guess, there's no way to stop master from leaving me. Closing my eyes, I thanked master.

"Thank you for everything, and for the gifts that you gave me, I hope I'll see you again, master!"

I lowered my head with a feeling of gratitude within my heart. And as expected, I didn't hear any answers from the master.

To be honest, I don't truly know about the titles my Master gave to me. But I can feel that I'm no longer a normal human.

"Fenrir, Apollo, it's time to go..."

Fenrir and Apollo are my pets that I tamed successfully three years ago, they are surprisingly large wolves about a size of a bus. Fenrir is a female, while Apollo is a Male.

Both of them stood up when I called their names, they seemed to know what I feel right now that's why they looked sad. I smiled at them and patted their heads.

"I'm fine, both of you, so don't worry okay? We will start our journey from now on, however, we need to take breaks because Fenrir is pregnant."

Both of them are smart pets, they understand what I said and nodded their heads.

I went back inside my wooden cabin and took a magical ring that the master gave me and has its function to put items inside. It's a very useful item, to be honest, or else I can't bring everything I made this past year. Sadly, I can't bring the wooden cabin I built. It has so many memories for me.

My main weapons are two pairs of thin long swords and a bow that I crafted by myself. Master said that I crafted it perfectly so I'm using these two weapons mostly all the time.

With one last check of my surroundings to see if I left something, I shortly went outside.

"Let's go."

I took the lead while Apollo is at the back so that he can protect Fenrir. She's pregnant, that's why Apollo is very cautious.

I already cleaned this area but I'm not sure about the lowest part of the mountains. I lived at the peak of the mountain, and never tried to leave because I am afraid of the creatures lurking everywhere.

"Fenrir, can you still walk?"

Looking at Fenrir, she's already catching for air. I internally apologized because I didn't wait for her to give birth at the wooden cabin. Maybe a day or two, she will give birth.

I am sensitive when it comes to this because of Saint Doctor title, be it Animals or maybe humans, if encounter the sooner.

"Grrrrrrrr!!!"

"Apollo, guard Fenrir, let me take care of them."

With my Saint Warlord Title. It also enhanced my senses. Using my mana, I made it flow out of my body to scan the area. I found something to where Apollo was looking.

Master said to use 1% of my power if I'm not in danger, and so, I will.

Using my bow, I aimed at a bush and fired. We have been walking for almost a day so that's why the creatures around me are new to me.

The bush vanished and the trees and solid rocks around it got carried by the wind force my arrow went.

I sprinted towards there and see a new creature, but this time, it looked humanoid for me despite some parts of its body are gone.

It looks like a humanoid pig with a large belly. I have a height of 6'7, and I can clearly say this one is almost as tall as me...

Sadly, it's weak, as it died instantly even though I am just using 1% of my power. The monsters back at the cabin are honestly stronger than them.

I took the monster core of it. Master said I can sell the monster cores I collected at a building called Adventurers Guild. That's why I am collecting every single one of them.

"It's almost evening huh? We should camp first."

I went back to my pets and took two tents that I crafted from the ring. One for me and one for Apollo and Fenrir.

We don't need a night watch. Both my pets sense and I are sensitive when it comes to danger.

"Fenrir, drink this soup. Apollo, eat this meat."

The best function of the ring is like stopping the time. The foods that I cooked are all still hot.

With the title of Saint Cook, I confidently admit my food is not normal. Simply looking at both my pets eating it with delight, feels honestly good.

With the moon above the sky, giving light to the night sky, we decide to sleep and end the first day of our adventure to the world hidden from me.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
