Just the Beginning

Everyone thought Alex was just an ordinary high school girl. She like painting an photography, simple right? Well Alex was anything but that, her dad was the boss of the biggest mafia in New York. And every time her heart was broken someone else got a bullet in there's.

AUGUST 5th

It was Alex's first day at her new school. This had been her fifth high school and she was just a sophomore. But things were going to be different.

"Dad!" Alex yelled. Nothing. She was home alone again. 'Great' she thought sarcastically. She went about her morning routine, showering, getting dressed, simple makeup and then breakfast. Charles was her driver. He was a sweet 50-something year old man. She wasn't quite sure how old he was. But he was kind to her. Alex got in the car parked at the front gate of the gorgeous house.

The house had a beautiful iron gate with precious decorative work. The house itself was huge, tower over all others near it. It was built over three centuries ago and handed down in the family. It was just her and her father left.

Alex didn't do much on her ride to school which was about twenty-five minutes away.

She looked at her classes, teachers, checked on her Instagram and texted her dad good morning. When she arrived at the school her eyes got wide it was the biggest school she had ever been to. Alex grabbed her bag and said farewell to Charles who said he would pick her up at 4:15 sharp.

As soon as she stepped out of the car she was being looked at. Alex was beautiful, she wore ripped jeans, white vans, and a black tube top under a Thrasher hoodie. She had an eye catching hour glass figure that complimented her very well. Alex has bright green eyes and a overwhelming smile. And lastly she had this red hair that shone brightly in the sun. She wore her hair down and curled.

First thing she did was walk into the office to ask for a print out of her schedule. The office lady's were very nice. She was walking down the hallway to her locker staring at her schedule when suddenly she ran into something, or someone. Alex was knocked over pretty hard considering she was on the floor now picking up her fallen papers from her hands. When she went to grab the last paper someone else handed it to her and when she looked at him she felt safe, even though she just got knocked on her ass by this guy.

"Oh my god I am so sorry, here." Said the guy lending his hand to her. "I swear I did not mean that are you hurt anywhere?" He stated examining her. Alex was shocked his voice was so low almost like thunder.

"No, no, I'm fine" Alex chuckled. He looked at her with a worried look that quickly dissipated. He was standing around 6'7" because with how close they were standing Alex was almost looking at the ceiling.

"Oh uh I'm Xavier" he laughed sticking out his hand to shake hers.

"Pleased to meet you I'm Alex, although I wish we could have met on better conditions" Stated the girl giggling. She then looked behind him wondering who else was there.

"Oh sorry, this is Jake and Aiden." Alex then introduced herself to the other two and they, after talking for a few minutes realized had the same classes. Slowly walking down the hallways talking they made it to their first class. They all took a seat at one big table in the back that sat four people. After they got through half of their classes for the day Xavier invited Alex to sit with them at lunch and her being new she quickly said yes. As soon as they arrived at their table Alex realized these were definitely the jocks. All of them looked to be at least above 6'2" and extremely strong. No other girls were at the table. They spent the whole lunch getting to know one and other. Alex was being careful with what and how much she shared but she was for once having fun, at school of all places. At the end of lunch Xavier invited everyone including Alex to a good burger place for after school. Alex happily said yes.

As soon as Alex stepped outside the school Charles was waiting at 4:15 on the dot. She got in and started organizing what she had to do for homework that night. When she got home she opened her bag hoping to get some homework done before Xavier and the boys came to pick her up. She got about half of her homework done.

As the boys were pulling up the driveway they're mouths were hanging open not realizing how wealthy she was. But despite that she didn't come off as pushy or mean -she was one of the sweetest people they had met. As she squeezed her way in between Aiden and Jake in the backseat of Xavier's truck she felt happy. Happier than she had been in a long time.
