Not a really bad day

I've never been this happy to go to school, this morning I woke up on my own and got ready for school without anyone waking me up.

I'm not sure why I'm happy but I know it has to do with the reunion with Jake and the fact that yesterday was the first time Zach spoke to me even if it was just a letter ..... a letter..... a letter..... a letter that I did not reply to...

I literally facepalm myself, how could I not reply to it.

Where did I keep It? I quickly stand up from my bed, head over to my table to pick up my bag.

Grabbing the bag, I empty it and rummage through my stuff... Books, pen, lip gloss .. Argh Just unnecessary things, where is the letter

"Betty wow you are awake today must be a special day ", I turn around and see my dad I didn't even know when he entered the room,

"Haha very funny Dad, as a matter of fact, I can be awake and ready by this time ", I just choose not to, I actually can but I just won't.

My dad's looking straight through my window.

"Isn't that Jake the windows are really close I can see his whole room ", my dad explains.       I can't believe I didn't notice that since, as we are looking at a completely oblivious Jake, He takes off his shirt and my jaws drop on my eyes open wide he isn't little Jake anymore as I keep on staring, the windows close that's when I notice that my dad was the one who closed it preventing me from seeing the blue-eyed boy next door.

I standing silently expecting him to say something but he just gives me a look which I do not understand and then walks out of my room 

Dammit ! this is the second time I'm getting caught and what's worse is that it's my dad.

I suddenly don't feel so happy anymore.

You see folks this is why I don't wake up early it does bad things to my day.

After having breakfast, I walk to the bus stop, and Jake is already there. I know we decided to be friends but it still feels weird especially after this morning.

" hi," Jake says as he finally notices my presence.

and as the awkward person that I am, I just say hi to. thankfully before he can say anything the bus arrives and we get in.

I sit by the window and Jake sits beside me which surprised me cause I expected that he would like to sit at the back with the cool kids.

"so about the project, we didn't do anything yesterday, should we continue today? " he asks

" Yeah I guess we should, where should we do it? "

"would you come over or should I? "

"I'll come over", I quickly say, after what occurred today with my dad I don't think I'm ready to be under the same roof with my dad and Jake.

The bus arrives at school and we get off.
