Early the next morning, Mrs. Ward dragged a reluctant Ella to the Johnson family mansion, her expression a mask of determination. As they approached the imposing entrance, the sound of laughter and casual conversation could be heard from within, a stark contrast to the storm that was about to unfold.

Mrs. Ward, her knuckles white from gripping Ella's arm, barged through the door, her voice booming. "Where is that Liam Johnson? We need to have a word with him and his family!"

The Johnson family, caught off guard, turned to face the intruders, their expressions a mixture of surprise and unease. Liam, still nursing a bandaged nose, stood up, his face flushing with anger.
