Auntie

"Little Jin Little Xi, take care of your sister... I'll be back" Xue Luli said as she left. Lu Jin and Lu Xi looked at each other in a confused manner. They didn't know what was going on with Xue Luli. They decided not to think about it because whatever was happening to Xue Luli was beyond what they could comprehend. They decided to just focus on their sick sister.

Xue Luli went out to buy food from the nearby restaurant.

Though it was already past nine, the kids should still eat something.

Back in the hospital room, Lu Li slowly opened her eyes.

"Little Li... you're awake" Lu Xi said with excitement on his face. Lu Jin who was busy looking at the charts in the room quickly rushed to his sister's bed .

"Little Li... how are you feeling?" Lu Jin asked .

"I'm fine... how did I end up here?. Did nanny come back? " Lu Li asked as she rubbed her cute round eyes.

Lu Jin and Lu Xa hesitated first before they explained everything to Lu Li.

"Oh no... is she mad at us?... Big brothers... it' all my fault" Little Li said as hot tears fell from her eyes.

As she was crying, Xue Luli walked in. She was a bit confused and walked up to them.

"Little Li... what happened?... why are you crying?" Xue Luli asked. She dropped the food on the table and sat on Little Li's bed

"Did your brother's say something to you?"

Hearing this, Lu Jin and Lu Xi became alarmed.

" Auntie... it's my fault...I only told Little Li what happened" Lu Jin explained as she bowed his Head

Xue Luli froze. Her lips opened slightly as she tried to process what she just heard.

'Auntie?... Lu Jin just called her Auntie? '

"Little Jin... what did you call me just now?" Xue Luli asked. She thought she had heard wrong.

Lu Jin paused and closed his lips. Lu Xi was scared that Xue Luli would get angry at him so he took the blame but he also addressed her the way Lu Jin did.

Lu Li who was convinced that what was happening was her fault started crying and begging Xue Luli forgive her brothers.

Xue Luli wasn't angry, she was just shocked at the way the children were addressing her. She was their mother not their aunt. Suddenly, she remembered that she had previously told the children not to address her mommy, but auntie.

Xue Luli rubbed her temples. She was just too much.

"It's Ok... I'm not angry...and it's not your fault Little Li."

"I bought some food for you...I know it's late but you still shouldn't go to bed with an empty stomach" As she said this, she grabbed the bag and gave a pack each to the three of them.

The children didn't react and kept staring at her. This was the first time Xue Luli had bought something for them.
