<What a good farewell simulation, I even got nervous when I imagined the bastard in front of me scared about to die... uff~> Alex shook his body to remember what happened.
When he was talking to the ape, Alex was actually using it as a practice of the words that will lead him to the bastard when the time comes, but while Alex is distracted, the system notifications jumped into his sight.

<Mm!!!... what should I spend my mutation-points on?> Alex looked at his status with interest when he saw that he was close to leveling up and that he had 28 accumulated mutation-points in a total of all the beasts he killed during these days.
While Alex looked at the options he had removed from the endless list of mutations, he was surprised to see an option again in operation.
<!!!... without hesitation I will spend my points there!> Alex decided to spend 15Mp on the third mutation of his available core.
But he didn't accept when he selected to mutate his core, but first, he wait to distribute all points before accepting.
So it is the status of Alex's mutations after distributing his points.

<I should postpone it... I could mutate at another time> Alex began to flank when he remembered the burning sensation he feels inside him, every time his mutations increase in a range.
<Not that I am a coward... but I am not a masochist who wants to feel pain...> Alex began to wander with his eyes in search of some excuse that convinces himself at all to not mutate.
<Maybe Alex will mutate when he gets to the next room... Alex doesn't want... just not> Alex's ears had been pulled back while he has his tail between his legs for not wanting to suffer more with mutations, but he knows very well that he needs them.
An idea arose in Alex's mind as he rambled on why he should wait to mutate.
<Ta-Taan!!> Alex took out the wooden stick from his inventory and showed it to heaven as his savior.
<I hope you don't let me down... if it falls to the right... I will mutate> Alex thought as he subjects the stick with his two paws with determination in his eyes.
<One... two... now!> Alex released the stick which lasted a second straight until gravity began to do its job and made the stick fall to the left, for that moment Alex showed a big smile, but as if it were destiny, a small stream of air ran down the mountain and the only leaf of the stick was dragged with the air and so was the stick, thus making it fall to the right.
*Pa-pat pat PAT!* <I BElLIIEVED IN YOU, AND YOU DARE TO BETRAY ME!!> Alex hit the stick for a few seconds, but in the end, he keeps it in his inventory again.
<Alex, clench your teeth, as Uncle Mutation is coming to annoy you for a while and you won't be able to do anything else... suddenly I feel I understand human women a bit> Alex thought distractedly while accepting mutations with his tail.
All Alex's fur was lifted by the uncomfortable and painful sensation that invaded his body, perhaps it was not as horrible as the first few times, but it is a pain to which he cannot get used... many beasts avoid mutating by this aspect.
Alex took a step towards the exit, but his way of walking was somewhat comical because of his appearance, having all his fur bristled and taking slow steps as if he was afraid to activate a trap, but the truth is that with each step he does, he feels as if thousands of needles were buried in his body.
At the sixth step, Alex gave up and stood still so he would no longer suffer more.
<This is only Child-Animal abuse! I have not more than a year and I am a cute animal! Why I have to suffer this?!!> Alex shouted internally full of despair at the pain he feels.
All the pain that Alex felt, came from his eyes that suffer a quadruple mutation, his skin, bones, fangs and the worst part with more pain is his core which causes pain in his chest or every time his heart makes a strong beat.
But, although Alex could not see it, Alex's nucleus began to grow because of the large amount of mana that Alex has which began to grow again in the face of the new capacity of the core, but something strange also happened with the entire amount of Alex's mana.
Now Alex's mana began to gather in two places, his heart, and his brain, but obviously the amount that gathers in the heart is much greater by the core, which it has the ability to store and refine Alex's mana in its two elements.
If before Alex's mana abounded in his body now the balance returned within his body with the new capacity of his core, but not only was there that change, Alex's eyes began to attract the mana naturally towards them, but as if there were a blockage, the mana returned to its normal current.
The same happened with his claws, but in these, they had no blockage and the mana traveled a new way through the claws, thus giving a small improvement in its entire body through the mana.
The little spirit that had returned from watching the little kitten, she felt the change in Alex, although she was in a suspended dream to recover, thanks to her connection with Alex, she began to become a little healthier while also becoming stronger and her form became more complete.
~After a couple of hours of sweat and torture~
Alex was lying on the ground mentally exhausted by the previous suffering, but it was not a big problem since his mana began to repair all traces of tension in his body, which caused him to recover quickly and move down the hall for the next room.
On the way there was a Kobold's camp that they were living there, that baffled Alex, although it is not a bad idea, he thought it would be better to live in the dome than in the hallway since open space is always better than a small and tight place as is the hallway.
Alex walked through his camp while he watched everything, at first he was on guard at any sign that he would be attacked, although his mini-map showed that some are friendly towards him while others are neutral, in the end, it doesn't was enough for him to relax.
When Alex walked through the camp, the Kobolds stopped doing what they were doing and watched Alex with interest, much interest, since the traps were not activated with Alex apart that there is a blockage for the monsters that prevent them from leaving their places unless they meet certain conditions imposed by the dungeon such as being pregnant, something that wolves and striped cats do in the first room is going down a floor to have their pups.
But here is Alex, walking as nothing in the hallway without activating traps and without red eyes, if that doesn't break the logic of the Kobolds, then they simply ate some mushroom from the wall and now they are hallucinating with Alex walking as nothing for a place that shouldn't be possible for the beasts of the dungeon.
Alex is an enigma for the Kobolds, a great enigma.
<It smells a lot like damp> Alex walked down the hall while many smells began to reach Alex from the exit.
The answer did not take long to reach Alex when he managed to see the end of the hallway, a lush jungle full of weeds and giant trees that almost monopolized the sky, but while Alex appreciated the drastic change of the environment, his ability [mapping] began to Record the place information and show the location of the exit.
Surprisingly the exit was much closer than the previous time and he could see the arc of the entrance of the exit from his place.
The jungle was the theme of the third room, a lot of moisture invaded the place while also the sound of many beasts or animals, living their day to day.
<Now I understand why they are not living here... the environment is horrible to survive as a civilization> Alex looked at his surroundings, he could only see places, where a beast could be hiding waiting for its prey, building a village in this place, would be a suicide, or that was Alex's thought about the environment.
With agile and flexible movements, Alex climbed the branches of the trees and managed to reach the top of the treetops, at the beginning he was a little afraid to fall, but remembering how he survived at a higher height in a meadow, the Fear disappeared and concentrated on seeing over the trees that are not surprisingly green, as well as all the vegetation found in the dungeon.
All herbs have the same blue hue as the herbs in the safe room on the first floor.
<Civilization!!... I guess that they can live in this kind of environment> Alex was amazed to see some smoke lines in the distance, deep in the forest.
<But they are not Kobolds from what I see> Alex looked at his Mini-map to confirm if there were gray or green dots on his mini-map, but there was nothing and since he is not using his aura he cannot check if they are hostile or neutral.
Since the ability works strangely, since it has previously registered the village of the Kobolds as neutral and friendly when Alex had not used his aura to check their status, but now that he looks that none of those two colors appear in his mini-map he assumes that everything on this floor is hostile to him.
Here is the long-awaited chapter!
I have read that someones say that I need an editor, but I don't know anyone who did it for free and I suppose that until the chapters begin to be premium, I will get an editor since it is at the moment when WN receives benefits of supporting my novel.
