Avoiding Death in Otome Game, I'll Have To Be Invincible

So the situation is like this.....I died.

If I have to describe it in brief; I was a normal teenager guy in the final year of my high school.

One day when returning home I met an unexpected truck accident. It was painful but fortunately or unfortunately the pain didn't last long and I died on the spot.

When I regained my consciousness, I found myself in a child's body. Apparently it's what people call "reincarnation" or in Otaku words I have been isekai.

This is Yona Kingdom and I have reincarnated as Kai Shen, the only child of Marquis Yude Shen and Kira Shen, and as the heir of this family.

I have to say I have gotten better looks compared to my previous life and also a lot of fortune.

To my surprise I know this world, it is the world of an Otome game named "The holy maiden" that I played 'by chance' not long ago.

It is a magical world based on the medieval setting.

So about the game; it was your standard Otome game about a heroine and capture targets she interacts with in Royal Magic Academy.

But compared to others of the same genre it has nicer vibes because of not too many unnecessary routes.

In this game the heroine is an illegitimate child of a viscount. The heroine is talented in magic because of which she gained the favor of her family despite being an illegitimate child.

The game has only three routes, and no unnecessary harem.

But I am not happy because unfortunately I have not reincarnated as a "capture target".

Instead as a side character who dies in all three routes! And in different ways at that!

In the game Kai was an arrogant son of a Marquis who looks down on commonner and even the heroine who was an illegitimate child of a lesser noble.

Your standard 'Malfoy' likes character but with less screen time.

Yeah, if I follow the original plot then I'll die again as a student just like my previous life.

I don't know what grudge the makers of the game Or the God hold against this character or me, but I'll have to do something!

Almost 5 years have passed since I gained the memories of my previous life, I have just turned eight last month.

Just like most noble kids, I also awakened my divine blessing when I was five.

If you ask what "divine blessing" is? It's simply the magic attribute of magic users, there are several kinds of magic attributes, most prominent being the elemental type, water, fire, ice, etc.

I already knew my magic attributes as soon as I regained my memories because they were also mentioned in the game.

My attributes are water and wind elements.

Elements are also divided in categories like basic, superior, unique/mutated and Super. There are four basic elements of Water, Fire, Wind and Earth.

Then the higher elements of Light Darkness and Thunder. On the other hand unique elements include ice, metal, nature, dust and several other elements.

All the above mentioned elements are the most seen among common as well as elite magic users but the last super elements are so rare that many Commoners haven't even heard about them.

Now back to myself or should I say my character Kai Shen, although I have two elements but both of them are the most basic elements.

So, I am what you call a "talented" but not a genius type character.

Of course things are different from the game, because as soon as I regained my memories my first thought was "how to prevent my death".

First I came up with the idea to not attend the academy where the whole "plot" is set, but as the sole heir of Marquis house it was impossible.

My second idea was to become so strong that I can survive against any kind of threat.

So I started training when I was only three years old. As I have learned that the body grows most in early age I started doing exercises and it worked.

My family took it as just me being energetic but they were soon amazed by my fast learning skills.

Again fortunately or unfortunately prodigies exist in this world so they were not shocked.

(of course I was no prodigy but maybe the main characters of the game who are of the same age were and that pisses me off).

After I awakened my attributes, they were not special but I was satisfied because it was my favorite combo.

As an otaku in my previous life I have read several action/fantasy mangas and novels and has enough reference material for this combination.

I started learning magic, realizing this world's magic "system" and used the available learning material and my Otaku "knowledge" for reference.

Although I think I did great but I can't gauge my power perfectly unless I fight any of the "main characters" of the game.

So about the current situation; I am in a carriage, traveling along with my father Marquis Yude Shen and his people, heading northward of our territory.

Our marquessate is in the eastern part of Yona Kingdom and bordered 'Median Sea', thus making it a coastal region centered around 'Cerulean City' where we live.

Right now we are going to "Aizawl" a town between our territory and that of Marquis Mizo's territory which is in the north-east of Yona Kingdom.

It is like a business trip but my father decided to bring me along so I can learn more about the work of a noble.

"Stop spacing out, we are about to arrive" My father's voice quickly brought me back to reality, he said that half jokingly or maybe he is concerned about my habit of spacing out.

Sitting next to me, he is a handsome middle aged man with a strong and gallant aura.

My looks are not much different from him except my looks are little better thanks to the genes of my mother who is known as the Nightingale of East.

Also the pretty turquoise blue eye color I have from the combination of my father's blue eyes and mother's cyan green eyes.

Among magic users, eye colors are closely related to their primary magic attributes.

"Wow, the place is really colder" I said subconsciously but of course I know winter is approaching so this town which is near mountains obviously will be colder.

As I was just thinking about it, I saw a big mansion on a small mountain.

Our carriage is heading in its direction so it is most probably the town's main office, or maybe just simply a mansion meant for the meeting of two Marquis?

I don't know and I am not really into finding out about it, because this town is under dual management of both my father and Marquis Mizo so I don't want to bother with it too much, after all Marquis Mizo is 'her' father.

We are here because of a new found dungeon on another mountain not far from the town.

I just have to remain here, observe, if possible enter the dungeon for experience and go back.

At least that what I thought....
