The First Awakening

As the centuries ticked by, I snoozed beneath Winterfell's icy embrace, catching up on some much-needed beauty sleep.

But lo and behold, one fine day, a ruckus disturbed my serene slumber.

It was all because of Queen Alysanne Targaryen's little joyride up north, where she decided to gift the Night's Watch with a slice of our prime real estate, the New Gift.

Well, wouldn't you know it, the terms and conditions I'd set ages ago had finally been met, and like a grumpy bear roused from hibernation, I woke up to chaos.

The North, my stomping ground, was in an uproar.

Our lords and ladies, guardians of our ancient customs, were throwing a royal fit over the queen's audacious move.

Handing over the choicest bits of our land to a bunch of black-cloaked bros sworn to celibacy? It was a recipe for disaster.

So there I was, reluctantly crawling out of my cozy crypt, muttering curses under my frosty breath.

The conditions I'd set in motion eons ago had been fulfilled, and duty called.

With a sigh that could freeze a summer's day, I decided to head south to King's Landing.

Because, you see, when the North grumbles, the Iron Throne listens.

And as much as I'd rather be catching up on my beauty sleep, duty called, and I couldn't ignore it.

So off I trudged, hoping the realm was ready for a dose of icy truth and maybe a little bit of sarcasm.

As I emerged from the crypts of Winterfell, the sight that greeted me was one of utter bewilderment.

House Stark, my friends kin, stared at me with wide eyes, their jaws practically hitting the floor.

Can't say I blamed them. After all, it's not every day you see an ancient, random looking warrior crawling out of your family crypt.

"Um, hello there," I greeted them with a wry smile, brushing off the frost that clung to my armor. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything important."

The Stark family exchanged uncertain glances, clearly unsure how to react to my unexpected appearance. But before they could gather their wits, I decided to take charge of the situation.

"Right, so here's the deal," I announced, adopting my best no-nonsense tone.

"I've been snoozing down here for centuries, minding my own business, when suddenly Queen Alysanne decides to go all Oprah and start giving away land like it's candy. Needless to say, I'm not impressed."

The Starks blinked at me in confusion, clearly struggling to process my words.

Sensing their confusion, I decided to lighten the mood with a touch of humor.

"Yeah, turns out I'm not too thrilled about being woken up from my beauty sleep either," I quipped, earning a hesitant chuckle from a few of the younger Starks.

"But duty calls, and all that. So, I'm off to King's Landing to have a little chat with the king. Does anyone care to join me?"

The Stark family exchanged uncertain glances once more, but to my surprise, it was a young boy who spoke up first.

"I'll go with you," he declared, his eyes shining with a mixture of curiosity and excitement. "Sounds like an adventure."

"What's your name your young Stark?" I inquired.

"Rickard, sir. Rickard Stark."

I grinned at his enthusiasm, nodding in approval. "That's the spirit, little Rick. Off we go, then. Let's show the realm what the North is made of. By the way, the name's Aurelius Fenris."
