REMOVEDDDD

"I don't get it." Sian Wagner checked his heart as he passed by the prettiest girl he had ever seen his life. He was just walking home from buying snacks from the convenience store on Saturday morning, ready to have a great weekend, but he never knew he would meet such a fine gal. He checked his heart again as he gets a glimpse at the girl again. "It's beating normally...", he dismayed. A boy who had never fallen in love. He wanted to experience it. He was always alienized from love talks as he never once felt his heart beating fast because of a girl. "Am I... gay?", dismay became despair. But he laughed it off, "No, no, I never fallen in love in general. If I'm gay then I should've known a long time a-" Sian's monologue was interrupted as the sky turned dark and shadow hovered the city. Sirens all over the world wailed. Electronic voices that sounded like it was recorded in the '90s echoed at maximum volume [Citizens, the government has been eradicated by terrorists. Do not take cover and breathe deeply. We shall sing our last anthem under one nation.} The anthem hymn played as terror spread. "So this is Earth. Creative choice of naming your planet." The shadow above cities all over the world enlarged out of nowhere as if they came out of a portal. Above one of these shadows was a woman sitting comfortably in a darkened throne as she mocked the world she was in the middle of conquering. Thud! Thud! Thud! "Is this... love?", Sian whispered, his face red, as a new world opened up to him, both literally and metaphorically.

Originally confined to the southeast of the country, the Oromo migrated in waves of invasions in the 16th century CE. They occupied all of southern Ethiopia, with some settling along the Tana River in Kenya; most of the central and western Ethiopian provinces, including the southern parts of the Amhara region; and, farther north, the Welo and Tigre regions near Eritrea. Wherever the Oromo settled in those physically disparate areas, they assimilated local customs and intermarried to such an extent that much of their original cultural cohesiveness was lost. They were eventually subjugated by the Amhara, the next largest ethnolinguistic group in Ethiopia. The southern groups, such as the Arusi and Boran (Borana) Oromo, have remained pagan, believing in a sky god. They have retained virtually intact the gada, or highly formalized age-set system (a system in which all members of society are included in separate age groups for life). Those traditions have been diluted in the north, where the Oromo are either Muslim or members of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and where many Oromo have, through acculturation, become social equals to the dominant Amhara.
