Jian Yan returned home, and her stepmother, Lin Zhi, welcomed her with a smile.

"Ah, Jian Yan, you're back from the company early. Are you tired from work?"

Jian Yan was furious. Her eyes turned cold and she kicked the door open.

The pair who was flirting in the room jolted up and turned around.

"Yanyan, why are you already off work?" Her boyfriend, Fu Yuan, asked in surprise. His clothes were still on but his tie had been removed.

"I had to come back early. How else would I have gotten to witness such a good show?"

Jian Yan looked at the adulterous couple on the bed with disgust.

All these years of knowing and loving Fu Yuan had turned into a joke in an instant.

Jian Wan used the blanket to cover her body. There were faint red marks on her bare shoulders. Her eyes were filled with smug delight.

"Sister, we didn't do it on purpose. Brother Yuan and I couldn't help ourselves. Can you help us?" She said sweetly and leaned towards Fu Yuan.

Fu Yuan pushed her away, got up, and walked towards Jian Yan, asking for forgiveness. "Yanyan, I'm sorry. It was an act of impulse."

Jian Yan slapped him and kicked him away.

That shocked the man. "Yanyan, you weren't such a violent person before. You were so gentle…"

"My gentleness is only for the person who truly loves me, not a scum who has slept with my stepsister!" Jian Yan retorted.

"No, sister, don't hurt Brother Yuan. If you want to hit someone, you can hit me." Jian Wan rushed over, still wrapped in the blanket.

Jian Yan smiled. "I didn't say that I wouldn't hit you." She moved her hand swiftly.

Jian Wan was in a lot of pain. Tears rolled down her cheeks, but she subconsciously dodged her sister's attack.

Fu Yuan got up, put on his tie and said in a deep voice, "Yanyan, calm down. Think about our past. I can promise you that this won't happen again. Our wedding will proceed as planned."

"Haha! You wish! I'm done with you, jerk!"

Jian Yan looked at the well-dressed Fu Yuan. He didn't seem like one to cheat on his girlfriend. She then grabbed Jian Wan's hair and took out her phone to take photos of the adulterous couple.

Fu Yuan tried to snatch the phone away, but she nimbly dodged and recorded his actions. A look of surprise flashed across his eyes.
