Encountering The Hulk Caterpillar

I woke up the next day and I could immediately feel that my stamina had fully restored. Let's double-check just to make sure.

Oh, look my HP gauge is full again. HP oh sweet HP. Looking at it makes me want to make a song, this time around I'm going to be careful before I start punching and kicking things. Lesson learned. My stamina bar went up quite a lot but still it's quite low. I thought by sleeping it would go straight up to 100.

"Hey system do I have auto hp recovery or something", although I was glad that my HP went up, I was a bit confused. From what I know HP went up from levelling, I didn't know that sleeping restored health points.

[HP recovered due to nature of injuries, injures obtained were only multiple bruising injuries, therefore they recovered naturally. If injures resulting in internal or external bleeding are obtained, they won't heal naturally.]

Okay I think I get it now. That's kinda handy, although it's quite disappointing that I almost died from getting bruises. Quite sad.

Damn I guess my stomach is rumbling, I haven't had any food since birth guess I'm hungry.

Ahhh I understand now, that's why my stamina hasn't fully recovered. Hungry, hungry I need food. All this talk about food I wonder what monsters taste like, well I'll find out soon.

Slowly and surely, I dragged my body from underneath my leaf hideout, basking in the morning sunlight. I then proceeded to search my perimeter for any sort of food.

Radar....radar...radar, I repeated in my mind hoping that it would increase the odds of finding something. After around 5 minutes of me repeating radar like a song on loop, a small caterpillar enters my view.

Hello handsome, so fat so plump. My cicada mouth started drooling as my eyes glazed burningly at the innocent caterpillar in front of me.

Kweek Kweek.

The fat earth wriggler made a cute noise as it bathed in the sunlight not knowing that today it would breathe it's last breath. Seeing it like this made me feel a teensy bit of guilt, after all for the first time ever I would be taking a life.

From the fragment of memories that I still possessed; I was quite sure that I'd never killed a human yet alone an animal. Well, I think that, in the end I can never be sure, maybe I was a serial killer for all I know. Hahahaha.

Well serial killer or not today this caterpillar was going to die. I quickly, activated my stealth skill in order to hide my presence. Bwahahhahaha. Cough, cough. Damn I really need to work on my evil laugh, maybe Light Yagami can give me a few tips. I'm digressing, right now I need to take a caterpillar.... and EAT IT!

Okay, okay that's enough fun for now.

Very slowly, in order to not garner the caterpillar's attention, I begin to crawl towards the monster until I'm right behind it, then I proceed to dig my sharp fangs into it's skin. Poison bite. I say the name internally just to make sure that the skill actives. Looking at it realistically I probably didn't need to say it.

Venom quickly starts travelling down my fangs into the body of the caterpillar.

Terrified and hurt the caterpillar starts bashing around trying to knock me of it. My delicate body starts swaying through the air. Forwards, backwards, sideways, name any motion and my body starts moving like it. This caterpillar is a force to be reckoned with.

WHOOSH, my body slightly misses being swatted into a tree.

Woah, I didn't expect this thing to be so strong, what the actual hell. It's a caterpillar where did it get all this strength from. Gripping my claws with my life I barely managed to hang onto it's body. So strong, is it's power level over 9000, gosh that's it from this day forward I'm calling these green caterpillars, hulk caterpillar's. T and C applied, that's copyrighted now so if anyone wants to use this unofficial name, they have to pay me :).

It took a while for it to stop bashing around but after around 3 minutes I think all the poison made its way through its body and killed it. A moment after it died a ding noise resonated through my brain.

Hmm so it must have 5 skills. Well, from my knowledge 3 is the magic number so I choose 3.

Ohh that's why it was so strong, it was probably this skill. Looking at it closely I'm quite lucky to pick this skill out of the 5, the other ones were probably quite useless. I guess that the rng God's are siding with me, or maybe it's the power in the cards. Thank you, King God of Plot armour.

Oh yeah I forgot about my food I'd better go eat it.

NOM! NOM! NOM! CRUNCH! Mmmmh that was delicious, a 5-star cuisine if I don't say so myself. After satiating my stomach with the entire caterpillar, I decide to relax for an hour, before continuing on my journey looking for a new home.

After searching for a while, I find a small hidden grotto within a tree. I quickly take a peek inside to make sure nothing is inside, after looking around I find that its empty. Great this is my new home.

New home meet me, me meet new home. After, finding my new home I scurry around looking for a suitable rock to cover the entrance. I don't need any gate crashers trying to trash my new home after all. It takes me a while, but after a little bit of time I find a suitable rock. Time to move it.

"Bull strength!"

A great amount of strength starts enveloping my body strengthening every limb that I have. Wow look at this hulk strength, I'm so strong. After admiring myself for a while, I proceeded to move the round rock.

"Heave ho, heave ho!"

It takes a while but eventually I manage to cover the entrance to my grotto home. After covering the entrance completely, I proceed to relax on the warm straw matted floor.

Today I had my first fight, with a strong caterpillar as well, I had it's tasty food for lunch and also found a new home. Today was a good day... yawn. I'm tired now but let me check my status before going to sleep.

Nice got some good stat increases as well, nothing but a hard days worth of work. After daydreaming for a while, I fell asleep in my comfortable new home, waiting for tomorrow to come... for another day of adventure.
