Chapter 23 Infiltration and Sneak Attack (Rewrite)

==3 hours before the cruise ship had been attacked by Madam J==

A vessel ship can be seen travel fast on the sea where inside the ship, Kanda can be seen wearing a black military-style jacket with black slack pants and black boots. He also wearing the black fingerless gloves that he had used during the fight with Aoi.

Right now, he currently inside the war room with Raven, Hawk, Shallow, and Itokazu.

"Ok, I will explain my plan now. Raven and Hawk will take their team with me when we infiltrated the target's ship while Swallow will take her team to neutralize any personnel that stationed on the ship's deck later. Itokazu-sensei, no, Ender, will cover our retreat later. Any questions?" Instructed Kanda as he told the battle plan.

"No, sir." Replied Raven, Hawk, and Swallow together.

Kanda nods as he heard those Catia's raid team leader before looking at Itokazu and says, "How about you, Ender?"

Itokazu shakes her head as she says, " Nothing at all, Ichijou-kun. I'm just want to ask why you wear like that?"

Kanda shrugs as he says, "It's just my own preferences for the combat attire as I can change it easily using this earring."

Next, they took 40 minutes to arrive at the cruise ship and remain undetected along the way due to the jamming Assistroid that Kanda took with him.

Later, Kanda and three raid teams quickly board the ship where Swallow's team stays behind to neutralize any personnel that stationed near her location. Kanda with another two teams enters the ship where they quickly neutralize any personnel they had met with non-lethal weapons which make their enemies be unconscious.

When they are inside the ship, they finally could detect Eris's presence inside where they had assumed due to an electromagnetic pulse that disturbs their detector from they are outside.

Kanda looks at Raven and Hawk behind him and says, "Raven, Hawk, I need you two to take this ship's control room as soon as possible while I'm searching for Eris's whereabouts according to the detector."

"Affirmative." Replied Raven and Hawk.

They quickly separate from Kanda as Kanda continues his searching for Eris.

20 minutes later, he can hear the siren had been activated inside the ship due to tbeir commotions which he quickly traverses across the ship before he had encountered two maids where one has a scar under her left eye and another wears an eyepatch at her right eye.

Kanda stands straight as he says, "We met again, Sarah. How are you doing?"

He greets the eyepatch maid called Sarah where she just angrily looking at him.

"I will pay back for your humiliation from before." Said Sarah before she dashes towards him while brandishes her pair of tonfas to Kanda's head which he just slightly moves backwards to avoid her attack.

Sarah quickly raises her feet forward and kicks at his chest which he blocks by crossing his arms where she succeeds to push him back.

"Impressive, Sarah." Praised Kanda as he recovers form Sarah's attack.

Sarah just harrumphs on his praise before she continues her attack by jabbing at him using the tonfas where Kanda hits it back using his fist.

They exchange fast attack between each other before Kanda slowly overpowers Sarah.

As she saw that she being overpowered, Sarah quickly throws one of the tonfas towards him which Kanda easily deflects before she takes out a pistol under her long skirt which flashes a pair of black kneesock and her creamy colour thighs.

Kanda whistles as he says, "Well well, you have nice looking legs, Sarah."

*Bang**Bang*

Two shots had been released quickly where Kanda easily avoid that shot.

"Don't you dare look at me like that, you pervert!" Snarled Sarah as she points her gun at Kanda.

"Well...It's you that flashes your legs to me." Said Kanda towards Sarah.

*Bang**Bang*

Another two shots coming towards Kanda as Sarah says, "Then, don't look at it! Damn it! Why it's too hard to shoot at you?"

"I'm just faster than you." Replied Kanda before he pretends to look serious as he says, "but I will still look at those nice looking leg as they need some appreciation."

"DIE!!!" Shouted Sarah angrily as she releases multiple bullets at him where he expertly avoids all of them.

Next, Kanda quickly appears behind Sarah where he gently caresses her tights with his hand.

Kanda says softly, "Hmm... it has a nice feeling on it while has some muscles here and there."

"DON'T TOUCH ME, PERVERT!!!" Shouted Sarah as she blushed furiously before quickly turns around and takes out a submachine gun inside her skirt before a barrage of bullets go towards Kanda.

She can see that Kanda deflects all the bullets using a tactical knife that he had just taken out.

"IMPOSSIBLE!!!" Said Sarah as she had shocked expression on her face.

"No, it's possible. Just like I nad said... I'm faster than you." Said Kanda seriously before he says, "It's my turn now."

Kanda reverse grips his knife while the edge faces out before he moves quickly and knocks off the gun from Sarah's hand using the knife's handle.

Next, he tries to hit Sarah's back neck but had been blocked by three throwing knives which he blocks immediately before moves away from Sarah.

"Thank you, Maya. It's really close for me." Said Sarah as she looks at the maid with scar on her face.

"It's nothing, just be more careful, Sarah." Said the maid named Maya.

"Well well, I don't think that I'm so popular that I can meet with the rumoured Red-Haired Ogre in action." Said Kanda as he looks at the maid beside Sarah.

Maya just had tht stoic face as Kanda talked in front of her.

"I don't think that anyone can still remember my former title. Who are you?" Said Maya as she looks at Kanda.

"I'm Ichijou Kanda, or you can call me Kanda." Introduced Kanda before je continues, "Anyway, I'm really admired to any strong women just like you, Maya-san."

"If you want to make me flustered with your praise, it's a mistake for you as I'm not like Sarah here." Said Maya flatly.

Kanda shrugs as he says, "Well, I also think so but I'm just being honest with myself. I'm sorry if I said unnecessarily."

Maya shakes her head as she says, "No, it's fine. Thank you for your honest thoughts then."

"Maya! Why are you chatting around with him? He is our enemy now. And you pervert, why you suddenly talk nicely with her." Said Sarah angrily as she looks at the harmony conversation between Maya and Sarah as she feels discomfort when Kanda praised Maya.

Kanda laughs as he says, "Hahaha, there is someone jealous here. What do you think, Maya?"

"NO!!! I'm not jealous!!!" Denied Sarah strongly.

Maya just slightly chuckles on thay comment before her face recovers quickly to her usual stoic face.

"Anyway Kanda, I need to avenge Sarah here, forgive me for doing this." Said Maya as she readied herself.

"It's ok." Replied Kanda as he also readied himself.

Maya takes out three knives on each hand before throwing them towards Kanda where Kanda easily deflects all the knives.

"It's not enough to defeat me with this, Maya." Said Kanda with a smile.

"Then, how about this?" Said Maya as she throws another set of knives where Kanda deflects them easily before he suddenly being stabbed by a knife in his right shoulder.

Kanda looks at the knife on his shoulder before he takes it out as he says, "Wow, what a surprise! I don't think that you hide this knife behind those knives that you had threw."

Next, he can sees Maya throws another set of knives again where he tries to avoid all of them but some knives still hit him.

After he takes out the knives on his body, he takes all the knives that had been dropped on the floor before he throws them all towards Maya as he moves quickly with those knives.

Maya successfully avoids all the knives that had been threw by Kanda but she still had been hit by Kanda in her stomach with his knife's handle.

Maya holds her stomach that had been hit before she says, "Why you have not killed us, Kanda? I think that you could kill me when you hit at my stomach but you just used the handle of the knife.

Kanda ponders for a second nwfore he says, "Hmm...I can feel that you have taken good care of Eris so I don't think that I need to kill you for that."

Maya shakes her head as she says, "You're too kind, Kanda. It's will cost you later."

Kanda shrugs as he says, "I will think about that later. Now, I need to defeat you first so I can find Eris."

Kanda start to ready himself for the next fight before he suddenly heard a voice at his back where he, Maya, and Sarah looks at the voice's direction and finds Eris with a girl with short blond hair coming towards them.

He can see that Eris coming towards him before she hugs him which he hugs her back. Kanda asks Eris why she hadn't contacted him or her people where she just laughs on that and said she had forgotten to contact them which cause him to shake his head as he smiles wryly.

When Kanda said to Eris that he needs to bring her back, she suddenly makes a request where she want to bring along the blonde girl with him.

He looks at the blonde girl where he knew that the blonde girl is the leader of the cult "Underside of Kitten Paw".

Then, he goes towards the blonde girl but he had been blocked by Sarah and Maya which the blonde girl orders them to back down.

Next, Kanda talks for awhile with the girl where he sometimes hit her head which cause Sarah and Maya to glare intensely at him.

As Kanda talked with the girl, suddenly multiple explosions can be heard where Kanda got a piece of information that Madam J is the one who initiates the attack on the cruise ship.

Immediately, Kanda goes out with the others to the exit after he had gave his order at his team members to get out of the ship quickly.

Later, he met with his team members as he comes out to the deck of the ship.

"Raven, can you scan the whole ship to see whether all of the personnel had been got out from the ship?" Ordered Kanda to Raven.

"Yes. sir." Replied Raven as sbe manipulates the device on her wrist.

Kanda looks at another raid team leader and says, "Swallow, I need you to contact Ender to come here right now."

"Affirmative." Replied Swallow as she communicate through her earpiece.

~30 minutes later.

Itokazu has arrived near them which Kanda quickly orders all of them to board the patrol boat while others are inside multiple emergency lifeboats which will be pulled by the patrol boat.

Kanda, Eris, Raven, Antonia, Maya, and Sarah can be seen inside the patrol boat's control room.

==At another location, 5 miles away from the bombarded cruise ship==

5 Black Hawk-Variants can be seen flying above the sea where The Variants can be seen had been equipped with 6 rockets under each Variant.

The explosion on the cruise ship happened due to the rocket that had been released from these Variants.

Inside one of the Variants, Madam J can be seen as she gives instruction to the soldiers.

"Shot again at them. Aim at the lifeboats." Ordered Madam J as she looks at picture captured by the camera on the Variants.

"Yes, Ma'am." Replied the soldier as he presses the trigger where the rocket are being launched before it suddenly disappears and appears againsuddenly when its has reaches 100-meters away from the lifeboat.

The released rocket had been destroyed by Kanda where he materializes a sniper in his hand before shot the rocket down which the rocket just dematerialize when it had been hit with Kanda's bullet.

Looking on the screen as Kanda destroyed the rocket, Madam J sneered as she says, "Hmph, if one rocket couldn't destroy you , how about I release all the rockets at you, Ichijou Kanda?"

Madam J talks through her intercom and says, "Hey, tell the others to shoot at them with all the rockets."

"Yes, Ma'am." Replied the soldier before je continues, "Attention to other pilots! You've been ordered to shoot all the rockets at the target."

"Affirmative. The order had been received. Shoot all the rockets at the target. FIRE!!!" Replied other pilots as they pressed the trigger at the same time.

A total of 24 rockets are flying out fast as they meet the target before the rockets had been destroyed one by one by Kanda.

"Impossible!!! What a monster!" Commented one of the soldiers as he looks at the destroyed rockets.

All the soldiers in those Variants shocked to their core as they saw how all the rockets had been destroyed by him.

"Damn it. Give me my weapon quick! I don't think I couldn't kill you." Said Madam J before she orders her subordinate where a soldier gives her an M82 Sniper Rifle.

She immediately aims at Kanda before she had fired the bullet where the bullet acts the same way as the rocket where it suddenly appears 100-meters away from him. Kanda narrowly avoids the bullet as he senses the bullet at the last moment.

Madam J cursed as she says, "Shit. All of your...fire at that guy's companion. We will see how he will save all of them."

The soldiers follow Madam J's order where they emptied the rest of their bullets at Kanda's companion.

==Back to Kanda's place==

After Kanda had destroyed all the rockets and narrowly avoid the bullet, he can feel multiple objects coming towards them where all of these objects have targeted at his friends.

"AL, can you help me here, please?" Said Kanda in his mind as he requests towards his system.

[Request had been accepted. Overdrive mode activates. 1 minutes countdown for overdrive mode to stop.]

"Everyone, I need all of you to get down right now." Shouted Kanda to the others before two swords materialize in each of his hands.

He tightens his grip while all the bullets coming near him where he says softly, "Although I don't know if I could do it just like a certain character in the anime that I love to watch, I will pray to God so I can do it like him. Here we go, ORAAAAAAA..."

As he shouts, he quickly swings his right sword before he alternates with his left sword and repeats the same process. He doing multiple sword maneuvering like thrust, slash, and hack where his performance mesmerizes all the people whether the people on his side or the people on the another side.

His performance continues for a minute before he suddenly collapsed on the floor while panting heavily as he had deflected all of those bullets.

"Kanda, are you fine?" Said Eris as she shouts at Kanda.

"Yes, I'm fine, Eris." Replied Kanda while breathes heavily.

*Bang*

Kanda heard another shot which he quickly looking around and see a bullet coming fast towards Antonia. He moves his exhausted body and leaps towards Antonia blocking her from the bullet.

*Puucchhhhhsiiii*

A large amount of blood spurted around which cominh from Kanda's body before he collapses on top of Antonia.

"KAAAAANNNNDAAAAAAA!!!" Shouted Eris as she comes closer to Kanda where she turns his body and sees blood continuously coming out from his chest. Antonia wakes up from her shocked state and immediately goes towards Kanda before she crying as she saw Kanda's state.

"Kanda-niisan..." Cried Antonia as she looks at Kanda.

Kanda just weakly pats her head while smiling at her face as she says, "Don't cry, Antonia-chan. Let me rest for awhile and we will play together when I wake up later."

Antonia crying even harder as she listens to his talking where she suddenly feels the hand that pats her head is gone where she sees Kanda already closes his eyes while still smiling.

==Madam J's location==

Looking at the collapsed Kanda on the boat, Madam J laughs as she says, "HAHAHAHAHAHA...Finally, he has died now. There will be no one who can stop me from getting revenge on those cat aliens."

After she ends her laughs, he ordershis subordinate, "Let's go, return to the base."

"Yes, Ma'am." Replied these soldiers before those helicopters slowly flew away from that location.

==At Kio's house==

*Prang**Crashes*

A sound of a plate breaking can be heard from the kitchen.

"What happened Aoi?" Asked Manami as she looks at Aoi at the kitchen.

Aoi shakes her head before she says with a smile, "Nothing, Manami. I'm just feeling something really bad happened to Kanda."

Manami with a smile says, "Don't worry, Aoi. He will not die right now although I couldn't guarantee if he will dies from your food."

Aoi blushes as she shouts, "Manami!!! What are you talking about?!"

Manami just laughing heartily as she teased Aoi before leaving Aoi at the kitchen.

After Manami left, Aoi holds her chest with her hand as she prays, "God, please let Kanda be safe."
