Waking up

Ray's eyes fluttered open, his crimson irises glowing. In those eyes there was a change. When he came a week ago in this new world. They were sometimes astonished and sometimes stoic. They didn't had the intensity in them that now they held.

Right now in those ruby orbs there was a resolve. The resolve to live burning with fierce intensity and creating a smooth symphony with the unyielding determination to live through anything.

Different emotions displayed in them. There was calmness of a frozen forest draped in white. There was pure coldness that sent shivers down to anyone's spine watching them.

However, there were another emotions hidden deep within him. Fear and uncertainty. The fear wasn't because he would have to fight powerful individuals but because right now he was weak. So weak that he can't even win from Kevin.

At that moment a holographic screen popped up in his vision. A robotic voice also followed through.

Also this doesn't deviate the plotline. Well, even if it did. He know that the demons will still come for the main cast afterall they have a reason to do so. Unique ability can be very terrifying. Yes it is because the abilities of the main cast that the demons targeted them with many other individuals from different races also. The hero (Leon), the saintess (Elisha) and the rest of the main the cast were just that powerful that they took most of the priority or well we could say that they were born hero's of the world destined to save it.

The system's voice took Ray out of his reverie. He could feel from its tone that it was irritated. Well, the emojis did help a little also. He than put away his thoughts and told the system to continue what it was saying.

(I am saying that in the second labyrinth there is a solution for your problem. However you first have to reach atleast E+ rank to even for a chance to survive in there. Right now you can't even use spells properly let alone kill a monsters by yourself. So my advice is first you learn some things in the academy and wait until you reach E+ rank.)

He messaged her and the call from the other side almost came immediately. Picking up the call he greeted

Ray could feel the concern and worry in her voice.

("I am perfectly fine sis. There is no pain or problem, so please don't worry and take deep breath calm down.")

They both talked for some time. She also apologized for not being able to come to watch his match. However Ray already knowing how hard it is to maintain the both the student council and her study with training told her she don't need to worry about that. She also insisted on coming right now but he told her that there was no need as he perfectly fine with both his injuries healed and mana recovered.

As they were talking the doctor came in the room for his checkup. Thus the call between two siblings ended.
